    In C# 4, wasn't there a short cut for checking for null values like so: if( myobject?.myproperty?.myotherproperty?.value != null ) The value would return null and not throw an exception. Anyone have a link to how to use it or at least the syntax?

I'm on "subdomain.domain.com" and I need to remove a cookie whose name is known but its domain value is something like ".domain.com". In short: I'd like to get the value of ".domain.com".

  • Save all file names in a directory to a vector

    I need to save all ".xml" file names in a directory to a vector. To make a long story short, I cannot use the dirent API. It seems as if C++ does not have any concept of "directories". Once I have the filenames in a vector, I can iterate through and "fopen" these files. Is there an easy way to get these filenames at runtime?

Write a class, MyCourses, that contains an enumeration of all the courses that you are currently taking. This enum should be nested inside of your class MyCourses. Your class should also have an array field that provides a short description (as a String) of each of your courses. I wanted to know if I could do that with directives (since if I just code render the angular tags they won't get interpreted).   • php read CSV with various amount of delimiters

    I've got a script that reads in from a CSV file and sometimes the CSV files it receives contains an uneven amount of delimiters/columns so the first row could have 30 columns, the 2nd could have 20, etc. I can think of a few solutions myself ie: Count the delimiters in the widest row, then append the proper amount to each row that is short to make them even. But I was wondering if anyone had a more elegant method of doing this.

  • Is "campaign_$" a bad name for a SQL column?

    PostgreSQL has allowed me to name a column "campaign_$". I like the name because it's short and to the point, and other potential names like "campaign_receipts" seem longer and less clear. BUT, I wonder if I'll eventually regret putting a $ symbol in a column name, either in PHP or in some other distant part of the architecture. Should I just stick to letters and underscores? Thanks!

  • Parsing command line options in Perl

    Hi guys, I am parsing command line options in Perl using Getopt::Long. I am forced to use prefix - (one dash) for short commands (-s) and -- (double dash) for long commands (ex. --input=file), but problem is, that there is one special option (-r=) so it is long option for its requirement for argument, but it has to have one dash (-) prefix not double dash (--) like other long options. Is possible to setup Getopt::Long to accept these?
