  hi i have problems in converting an XML document type into a Document object.. this is the piece of code line 1 : Document doc=null; line 2 : doc = (Document) parser.parse(sourceFile); for this line 2 it throws java classcast exception.. without the typecast it shows error as "Type mismatch: cannot convert from org.w3c.dom.Document to javax.swing.text.Document" how do i now typecast properly? any suggestions??

• Python script to remove all comments from XML file

  I am trying to build a python script that will take in an XML document and remove all of the comment blocks from it. I tried something along the lines of: tree = ElementTree() tree.parse(file) commentElements = tree.findall('//comment()') for element in commentElements: element.parentNode.remove(element) Doing this yields a weird error from python: "KeyError: '()' I know there are ways to easily edit the file using other methods ( like sed ), but I have to do it in a python script.

  I'm having some issues in playing .swf files on my application. On my PC, using Media Player Classic, they work normally, but on my phone they dont, all I hear is weird sounds.. the code I use to play: mediaplayer = MediaPlayer.create(getBaseContext(), Uri.parse(CurrentAyaSoundPath)); Can anyone tell me why I cant play .swf files normally?   Hello, Consider the URL www.something.com/HereWeGo. When someone enters the url, the site shows a 404 error since the directory does not exists. I can parse the URL to get the query and HereWeGo, but cannot stop it from going to a 404 error. How can I achieve it by PHP, if it is possible to avoid .htaccess now Thanks Jean

  In SublimeText(2), when you press [ctrl + shift + p] (mac osx) you are shown a scope of where your caret/cursor is in the source code at the given moment e.g.: entity.name.tag.inline.any.html meta.tag.inline.any.html text.html.basic I am curious about what library or script is used to parse the document/file and create that scope string. A sidenote: Typing view.syntax_name(view.sel()[0].b) into Sublime's console will output the scope as well.

  The documentation on parse_ini_file (http://php.net/manual/en/function.parse-ini-file.php) states that you can't use these chars {}|&~![()^" in the value. Is there some way to escape these chars? I need to use them. Normal escaping with \ doesn't seem to work.

I have an application which loads a physicial XML document via the following method: jQuery.ajax( { type: "GET", url: fileName, dataType: "xml", success: function(data) { etc... I parse the XML and convert it into a string which is saved into a variable so that it can easily be stored in a database. How can I now convert the data in this variable back into an XML object so that it can be parsed as such?

  What would be the best format to numerically represent a color in .NET so that I wouldn't have to use the Color object? Right now I am saving the color as a the HTML representation, but in order to use it I have to parse it out.
