• Windows SBS 2003 Remote Desktop Problem

  Hi, I used to remote access the SBS 2003 server through RDC and it has been working all the time but now I am unable to connect to the server. Whenever I pressed the "Connect" button on the Remote Desktop Connection dialog, a dialog with messages like "Connecting to: xx.xx.xx.xx" and "Configuring remote session..." appeared and then disappeared quickly, leaving the Remote Desktop Connection dialog there. How to fix the problem? Thank you.

  My config: ubuntu server 9 and msyql 5 my.cnf = bind-address = 0.0.0.0 my iptables script = iptables -A INPUT -i eth0 -s 99.88.77.66 -p tcp --destination-port 3306 -j ACCEPT I can connect from any place to mysql, not only that IP. I made a iptables-save , /etc/init.d/netwokring restart... but I still can connect from any IP, any clue ?

The problem is when I connect the camera (Pro 9000) through a powered USB hub (In:100-240V, Out:5V,1A) everything works fine when I make a video call. But if I connect the camera directly to the OMAP3530 board and try to make a video call, the OMAP board is not sending any video packets captured locally. And also the PIP (Picture In Picture) is disabled.

  One of our machines was recently put behind an SSL proxy and since then I can't connect to puppet with "Could not evaluate: certificate verify failed." I have checked that the dates match, regenerated the certificates but to no avail. Debugging the verification with "openssl s_client -showcerts -connect puppetmaster:puppetmasterport" shows "Verify return code: 0 (ok)" Initially the Proxy SSL Certificate was not recognized with a "Verify return code: 20 (unable to get local issuer certificate)" problem which was then fixed with the answer in the question: Adding root certificate to CentOS 5

The software installs OK and the drivers, it sees the Tocco Lite when connected but will not actually connect! error message can't change mode or can't connect as "no response from the device because it is in the initializing stage. • RSH between servers not working

  I have two servers: one CentOS 5.8 & one Solaris 10. Both are joined to my workplace AD domain via PBIS-Open. A user will log into the linux server & run an application which issues commands over RSH to the solaris server. Some commands are also run on the linux server, so both are needed. Due to the application these servers are being used for (proprietary GE software), the software on the linux server needs to be able to issue rsh commands to the solaris server on behalf of the user (the user just runs a script & the rest is automatic). However, rsh is not working for the domain users. It does work for a local user, so I believe I have the necessary trust settings between the two servers correct. However, I can rlogin as a domain user from the linux server to the solaris server. SSH works too (how I wish I could use it). This solution worked for sometime, but am back to square one again. Solutions are sought, as this is a nagging problem, I am sure others would have experienced the same.
