    Hello, I am looking for a data access layer for ado.net. I am not interested in linq, EF, NHibernate or any other ORM. Currently, I am using the data access layer from umbraco. The DAL is very good but they stopped developing it so i am looking for a different one. Does anyone know where I can find a list of DALs that I can test?

    Hello, In database I store all date/times in UTC. I know user's timezone name ("US Eastern Standard Time" for example). In order to display correct time I was thinking that I need to add user's timezone offset to UTC date/time. But how would I get timezone offset by timezone name? Thank You!

    Hello, we use in all our pages in the 1st line of our HTML code the: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd"> We are moving on to the new IE8 and we would like to keep the DOCTYPE unchanged, is there any suggestions/warnings we better be aware of? I mean like: "Be careful that CSS min-width is not working anymore in IE8 transitional, be careful that it will screw up page in this and that, etc." Thanks!

But I'm not able to translate this into XWiki 2.0 syntax. I tried this {{graphviz type=dot}} ... {{/graphviz}} and other variations, but the best I got was about "graphviz" not being a valid macro. What's the correct syntax?

    Hello! I found a source code on MSDN about how to enable/disable privileges in C++ According to the source code, the linker must include cmcfg32.lib, but it can't be found... I tried to compile without including that lib, it compiles without any error, but when I launch my program, it crashes with a fatal error.
