    I need to update multiple rows with different values.Is it possible to do in mysql? ie,some thing like this UPDATE landing_page SET (rotation_slot_begin='0',rotation_slot_end='0.333333333333' where landing_pageid=265),(rotation_slot_begin='0.333333333333',rotation_slot_end='0.666666666667' where landing_pageid=267),(rotation_slot_begin='0.666666666667',rotation_slot_end='1' where landing_pageid=268) but this query is not working.I think something like this.Anybody can help me please

  • MySQL: Digits (1.75) to Friendly Time (1 hour and 45 minutes)

    In my MySQL database, I have a float field named "HoursSpent" with values like "0.25", "1.75", "2.5", etc. Is there a way that I can have my SELECT statement format those values in a friendly format like this?: 0.25 = 15 minutes 1.75 = 1 hour and 45 minutes 2.5 = 2 hours and 30 minutes The "HoursSpent" field is supposed to only have values in 0.25 increments, but if somebody were to put something random like 0.16, it would be nice if the SELECT statement handled that by rounding it up to the nearest 0.25 (so in this case 0.16 would become 0.25, or 15 minutes).

    I want to find top rated item using AVG function in mysql, right now my query looks like this: SELECT a.title, AVG(d.rating) as rating FROM in8ku_content a JOIN in8ku_content_ratings d ON a.id = d.article_id ORDER BY rating DESC Problem is that it takes AVG of all items and the result is not accurate, what should be changed here to get correct result ? Tables: in8ku_content [id, title] in8ku_content_ratings [id, article_id, rating]

I am not doing any manipulation with Date. All i do is to assign new Date() to a variable and store it in database. What am i doing wrong?

    I need to convert a varchar value of 1/9/2011 to a date in mySQL and I want only the month and year. So that I can then use the PERIOD_DIFF function (so I would need the above to be converted to 201101). I've tried various ways using the STR_TO_DATE function: SELECT STR_TO_DATE(CYOApp_oilChangedDate, '%m/%Y') FROM CYO_AppInfo But I get weird results... (for example: 2009-01-00) What am I doing incorrectly?
