• Need to open port in a router for two internal PC's

  I have two PC's behind a comon internet router and one service running in another network that needs to connect with both PC's through internet using a specific port. To avoid dynamic IP issues I have configured NO-IP accounts in both computers and opened the port in their respective Windows Firewalls. My problem is that when I open the port in the router it only allows me to assign it to one of the computers, but not to both of them. Is there any solution to this?

To be precise: I have a mail from someone else open in mutt and I replied to that mail - a copy of that reply is in the sent folder. • Preventing Thunderbird to add .txt to attachments on open

  How can I prevent Thunderbird to add the extension .txt to a file when open the attachment. I have the problem with .patch files which I want look with notepad++. The problem is that notepad++ does not detect the right formating for the file because the extension is .txt. If I drag the file on the desktop an double click all is working. Why change Thunderbird the file name on opening? I am working on Windows 7.

  I have a large table of about 7500 store names. I need to search through those names and, if they are not unique, append an incrementing value, for example: store_1 store_2 etc. Anyone know how to do this? For another project, I was using this: =J1&IF(COUNTIF($J$1:J1,J1)1,COUNTIF($J$1:J1,J1),"") but in open office this gives an error, and in google spreadsheets, it times out because my database is so big. Any suggestions?

Any advice or best practices to keep libraries and dependancies relatively modular and easily upgradable when new releases for them are out? To put it another way, lets say you make a program that is a fork of an open source project. As both projects grow, what is the easiest way to maintain and share updates to the core?   My program is written in C++, using GCC on Ubuntu 9.10 64 bit. If depends on /usr/lib64/libstdc++.so.6 which actually points to /usr/lib64/libstdc++.so.6.0.13. Now I copy this program to virgin Ubuntu 7.04 system and try to run it. It doesn't run, as expected. Then I add to the program directory the following files: libstdc++.so.6.0.13 libstdc++.so.6 (links to libstdc++.so.6.0.13) and execute command: LD_LIBRARY_PATH=. ./myprogram Now everything is OK. The question: how can I write installation script for such program? myprogram file itself should be placed to /usr/local/bin. What can I do with dependencies? For example, on destination computer, /usr/lib64/libstdc++.so.6 link points to /usr/lib64/libstdc++.so.6.0.8. What can I do with this? Note: the program is closed-source, I cannot provide source code and makefile.

  I would like to make a VNC connection from home to a Windows machine at work. The Windows machine is not accessible from the outside, but there is a Linux box that does have port 22 open, so it would seem that this can be done.   I am looking to add custom reports/forms to a web application. I want users to be able to upload a report definition/template file and then be able to print out a PDF or word document (one or the other it doesn't need to be both) for each of their widgets based off of the template they uploaded. I can't install anything on the server and am looking for an open source/free solution. Data Source- The data will be in the form of a datatable or dataset that the application fetches itself. The report tool does will not be able to connect to any database.
