• H12 timeout error on Heroku

  Can anyone shed some light on what's causing this timeout error on Heroku (at 2012-07-08T08:58:33+00:00)? The docs say that it's because of some long running process. I've set config.assets.initialize_on_precompile = false in config/application.rb.   I have a cluster that I manage and from time to time I get emails from each node (and head node) begging to be restarted after an automatic upgrade.   Is there anyway Encryption on an unidentified file can be broken(file in question: config file and log files from ardamax keylogger). These files date back all the way to 2008. I searched everywhere, nothing on slashdot, nothing on google. Ardamax Keyviewer? Should I just write to Ardamax? I am at a loss of what to do. I feel comprimised. Anyone managed to decrpyt files with Crypto-analysis? More Information-- There are log files in the folder and a configuration file, "akv.cfg". Is it possible to decrypt the files and maybe getting the attackers email address used to receive the keylogger logs? I've Checked ardamax.com. They have an built-in log viewer. But its unavailable for download. If superuser isn't the proper place to ask, know where I might get help?

  I have created a visual studio add-in for VS2008. The add-in uses as web service to access data required by the developer. However, currently the only way to get the service to work is to add the service bindings to the machine.config of the pc. I know this is a bad idea and its causing errors left and right in my other applications. I have tried using app.config along side my add-in but the add-in doesn't seem to use it at all. My service call is being made from a dll referenced by the add-in would that make a difference?

• How can I tell which config file Apache is using?

  I'm trying to set up virtual hosts on Mac OS X. I've been modifying httpd.conf and restarting the server, but haven't had any luck in getting it to work. Furthermore, I notice that it's not serving files in the DocumentRoot mentioned in httpd.conf (Libraries/WebServer/Documents), but in a different directory (/usr/local/apache2/htdocs). I don't see this folder mentioned anywhere in httpd.conf. Furthermore, PHP works, but the "LoadModule php5_module" line is commented out. This makes me think it's using another .conf file. How can I figure out which config is actually being loaded? Update: I just deleted that httpd.conf and apache behaves the same after restart, so it definitely wasn't using it!

  Hi All, Having an issue here that I have tried everything I can think of but cant get it to work. This all works fine. The problem is when I try and close the window and open a new window with a different item being displayed, the URL is not changed. I realise that this is because the window is being hidden, and not destroyed, and therefore it is the same window being opened. So I have created an onHide event handler to destroy the window like so. function showItemDetails(){ var ID=document.getElementById("sList").value create_window(ID); ColdFusion.Window.onHide('newWindow', refreshList); } function refreshList(){ ColdFusion.bindHandlerCache['sList'].call(); ColdFusion.Window.destroy('newWindow',true); } Now when I close the window Firebug is returning the error "ColdFusion.Window.destroy is not a function" (In IE the error is "Object doesn't support this property or method"). I have made sure we are running the latest version of ColdFusion 8.01 on the server (as I know that .destroy wasnt added until 8.01) and have applied the latest hotfixes to the server as well. Any ideas?

  I started using logrotate a few days ago on a new server setup (actually three of them). My config is as follows. /var/www/mywebsite.com/logs/*.log { rotate 14 daily dateext compress delaycompress sharedscripts postrotate /usr/sbin/apache2ctl graceful > /dev/null endscript } Problem is that this is putting several days of logs into the same file. For example, I've currently got a file called access.log-20121005 which has logs for Oct 3rd, Oct 4th and Oct 5th in it. Is that proper behaviour? What I want for it to do is to create one logfile for each day and keep 14 days of logs. Any help appreciated, thanks.

• Configure all hosts, then create a list of the config for all hosts?

  I deployed a huge number of hosts with Ansible - which did work very nice. Each host got its individual settings and configuration. Now I'd like to generate a config file for another system that uses these hosts. For it, I need for every host a part of the generated configuration (the one that configures the database). Here is an example of the situation with two hosts having different configuration and the other system that uses a part of the Ansible-generated configuration: host1 ansible configured dbA host2 ansible configured dbQ The other system: host1 = dbA host2 = dbQ The values are computed differently (dbQ instead of dbB for host2 for example) if it belongs in a different cluster and so on, making it unpractical to just read out host configuration from the host_vars. I believe I would need to iterate over the hosts and let Ansible figure out the computed values for the variables like it would when deploying, but I do not know how to put that result in one template. Please advise :)

I want the entire connection between my desktop and ssh.glakspod.org:443 to look like HTTPS traffic no matter how closely the internal proxy inspects it.   Am running a PHP based web app on our Windows 2008 cloud-based server. The app, which runs fine outside of our environment (e.g. a different IIS server), but is VERY slow in our environment. Based on googling this is a relatively common situation. I installed PHP and MySQL via the IIS web deployment method... Here's our setup: Windows 2008 Server Enterprise SP2 (32-bit) Microsoft-IIS/7.0 MySQL client version: mysqlnd 5.0.8-dev - 20102224 $Revision: 321634 $ PHP extension: mysqli Update for IIS 7.0 FastCGI Windows Cache Extension 1.1 for PHP 5.3 I had read elsewhere that ipv6 might be an issue, so I turned this off on the network adapter. The app is using: localhost as its connection Be easy on me, as I'm a bit green about some of these components... Also, rewriting the PHP app or modifying it is NOT an option. I'm reasonably SURE that our config is the issue.

• Mocha expects method

  So my situation is: I have a 2 modules that have the same structure like that: module Module1 class Config def fee_rate 2 end end end So, say, Module2 would have class Config with the method fee_rate, just with a different value (those are actually implemented in a rails engine, but it shouldn't matter) and then my model can use either Module1 or Module2 to get the fee rate value like that: def config @config ||= "#{module_name.titleize}::Config".constantize.new @config end def get_value config.get_fee * some_other_value end What I'm trying to test is if get_fee function was called on the correct class: "#{model.module_name.titleize}::Config".constantize.any_instance.expects(:get_fee).at_least_once model.get_value and on the line when I call get_value I get the following error - undefined method `*' for nil:NilClass. I'm completely lost now, so I'd appreciate any help and ideas.
