  I have a wx.lib.calendar.Calendar control (not wx.lib.calendar.CalendarCtrl!). I am selecting a number of days using the following function call: self.cal.AddSelect([days], 'green', 'white') This works, and draws the days highlighted. However, I cannot work out how to reverse this (i.e., clear the selection so the days go back to their normal colouring). Any hints, please?

  Hi, I have a tabbar with one of the tabs containing a drilldown table. I am having problems once the user has finished using the drilldown table. If they change to another tab, then change back to the original tab, the original tab is still where I left it (at the bottom of the drill down showing the detail view) What I want is on moving to an alternative tab the old tab resets I have tried adding all sorts of stuff to -(void)viewDidDisappear and -(void)viewDidUnload with no success What do I need to do? In portrait-mode the cell is 300px long, in landscape-mode 420px. • My Rails session is getting reset when I have concurrent requests

  I think I might be misunderstanding something about Rails sessions, so please bear with me, I might not be phrasing my question the best way. I'm working on an iPhone app with a Ruby on Rails backend. I have a web view which by default goes to the index action of one controller (and uses sessions), and in the background a bunch of API calls going to a different controller (and which don't need to use sessions). The problem is, the sessions set by my web view seem to be overwitten by the API calls. My staging server is pretty slow, so there's lots of time for the requests to overlap each other - what I see in the logs is basically this: Request A (first controller) starts. Session is empty. Request B (second controller) starts. Session is empty. Request A finishes. Request A has done authentication, and stored the user ID in the session. Session contains user ID. Request B finishes. Session is empty. Request C starts. Session is empty - not what I want. Now, the strange thing is that request B should NOT be writing anything to the session. I do have before and after filters which READ from the session - things like: user = User.find_by_id(session[:id]) or logger.debug session.inspect and if I remove all of those, then everything works as expected - session contents get set by request A, and they're still there when request C starts. So. I think I'm missing something about how sessions work. Why would reading from the session overwrite it? Should I be accessing it some other way? Am I completely on the wrong track and the problem is elsewhere? Thank you for any insights!

  Hi, I'm testing the CRUD operations of my DAOs in JUnit tests. When i execute the single test, Hibernate always resets the schema and populates the DB in a known state. But when i execute multiple tests in a row, Hibernate resets the schema once, and then the data is accumulated during the execution of the tests. This is an unexpected behavior, so I'd like to add in the @Before method of the tests a function that explicitly resets the schema to avoid the pesistence of side data created by previous tests during the execution chain.   I'm interested in improving security of my TurboGears 2.2 application so that when user changes his password, it logs him out from all sessions and he must login again. When user changes password on browser 1, he must relogin on browser 2, too. Experiments show that this is not the case, especially if browser 2 had "remember me" enabled. It's standard quickstarted app using repoze.who. It seems maybe I need to change AuthTktCookiePlugin, but don't see a way to do it without much rewiring.

  When a user's email is inputted into the forgot password form and submitted, I am receiving an error saying login can't be blank. I looked around devise.en.yml for this error message, but can't seem to find it anywhere.   I'm running spring + hibernate + JUnit with springJunit4runner and transactional set to default rollback I'm using in-memory derbydb as Database. Hibernate is used as a JPA Provider and I am successfully testing CRUD kinds of stuff. However, I have a problem with JPA and the behaviour of @GeneratedValue If I run one of my tests in isolation, two entitys are persisted with id 1 and 2. If i run the whole test suite the ids are instead 6 and 7. Spring does rollbacks just fine so there are only these two entitys in the database after addition and of course zero before. But behaviour of @GeneratedValue doesn't allow me to reliable findById unless I would return the Id from the dao.add(Entity e) //method I don't feel like doing that for the sake of testing, or is it a good practise to return the entity that was persisted so I should be doing it anyway?

• Enabling syntax highlighting for LESS in Programmer's Notepad?

  When I don't feel like firing up the Visual Studio behemoth, or when I don't have it installed, I always turn to Programmer's Notepad. It's an amazingly light and fast little text editor, with the special advantage that it is completely platform-native and conforms to standard UI conventions. Therefore, please do not suggest that I consider using other text editors. I've already considered and rejected them because they do not use native UI controls. I like Programmer's Notepad, thank you very much. Unfortunately, I've recently begun to learn, use, and love LESS for all of my CSS coding needs, and it appears that Programmer's Notepad is not bundled with a syntax highlighting scheme for LESS. Does anyone know if there is—by chance and good fortune—one already available somewhere on the web that some kind soul has tediously prepared? If not, how can I go about writing one of my own? Is there a way to build on the existing CSS scheme? It's also possible that any code coloring scheme designed for Scintilla-based editors will work, as Programmer's Notepad is based on the Scintilla control. If you know of a LESS highlighting scheme for Scintilla-based editors, and how to use that with Programmer's Notepad, please suggest that as well.
