    What tools are good to use for code analysis in python? I have a large source repository split across multiple projects, and I would like to be able to run tools across the directories to see details like Cyclomatic Complexity, and perhaps be able to spot errors using static analysis. Ideally, I would like to be able to produce a report about the health of the source code, so we can spot problem areas that need to be addressed.

    Hi folks I'm attempting to get a timezone of a user based on area code information that they provided. I discovered the following resource on maxmind: http://geolite.maxmind.com/download/geoip/api/php/timezone/ I suspect that I could use this with another api that provides the state that an area code belongs to. I'm looking for a simple REST API that provides this info - or a robust scraping routine that achieve the same results. Thanks in advance!

    In Internet Explorer 7, this code executes consistently in 47 ms: function updateObjectValues() { $('.objects').html(12345678); // ~500 DIVs } however, this code executes consistently in 157 ms: function updateObjectValues() { $('.objects').html('12345678'); // ~500 DIVs } Passing a number is over 3x faster than a string. Why are these results so dramatically different? And, is there any way to help the performance of the string?

Now I'm thinkig about using one of the frameworks (Blocks) which is available as GC-only. My question is - can I still use the framework without any changes to my current non-GC code and without using GC myself?

    Is there a way to force the MVC automatically generated code to follow the conventions you have set in your preferences? For example, I keep all curly braces on the same lines as their declaring class, method, etc, but when generating a controller, it completely disregards my settings. We have the JSON code working to display the messages in a JavaScript function after an Async Postback, but this only executes after a page turn. I want it to execute every 10-15 seconds as well.     I have just tried to upload Mac app to app store. But Apple said just error. Invalid Code Signing Entitlements. Your application bundle's signature contains code signing entitlements that are not supported on MAC OS X. Specifically, key 'application-identifier' in '(My app name).app/Contents/MacOS/(My app name) is not supported. My XCode is 4.2 and I didn't check Enable Entitlements. Please help me!!!

I found this link that states where the source code is but I cannot find it in my platform builder installation - I expect this is because it isn't the Windows Automotive platform.     MacRuby 0.5 includes a ruby compiler built on LLVM called macrubyc. Does anyone know if it would be possible to dynamically load gems from compiled code? Or compile the gems and link them in? Is this planned? Or how compiled code will be able to make use of gems in general.
