  • GWT AbstractColumnDefinition (Need to add style to certain Columns)

    I have a column Definition for each colume that extends AbstractColumnDefinition these columns are put in a DefaultTableDefinition. example: NAME | SIZE | RES | DELETE | this style (AT THE END OF THE PAGE ) is added to the column names if you notice all of them are with a cursor pointer , meaning a hand shows up when i hover above each one. my question is would I be able to remove the coursor for delete or in general for a certain column and keeping it for another one .. i tried to do that with each column Definition but there is no such thing as remove or addstyle even to like put my own style. I have 2 tables Members and Managers Members has: memberID, Name, Address Managers has: memberID, EditRights, DeleteRights EditRights and DeleteRights are of type bit. Mangers have a relationship with Members, because they are members themselves. I want to select all members id's, name and adress and for the members that are managers show if they have editrights and/or deleterights.     I've found that I can write (say, copy a file into) a Read-Only directory. That is, a Directory with ...Attributes = FileAttributes.ReadOnly.I can even change its name. The only thing I've found that can't be done is to delete it. Is that really the only thing that ReadOnly prevents? EDIT: Here's the code: (The Directory is empty.) (new DirectoryInfo(path)).Attributes = FileAttributes.ReadOnly; Directory.Delete(path); It throws an Access to the path 'c:\... is denied. exception. But after changing ReadOnly to Normal it works fine. So what does a ReadOnly prevent, and what doesn't it prevent?

    Hello, I've been trying to figure out how to add a private member from Object A, to a private member from Object B. Both Cat and Dog Class's inheriate from the base class Animal. I have a thrid class 'MyClass', that I want to inheriate the private members of the Cat and Dog class. So in MyClass, I have a friend function to overload the + operator.     hi there, i`m using sql server ce together with sync framework. however, sync framework creates some system tables when calling the CreateSchema() method of the SqlCeClientSyncProvider. (e.g. __sysSyncArticle, __sysSyncSubscription, ...). i'm not able to delete these tables with sql statements within Visual Studio. (states that "drop table is not supported") and when trying to just create a SqlCeCommand i get a message that the specified tables does not exist. what does it take to delete sql ce system tables programmatically? thanks

    Whenever someone asks what to do with code that is no longer needed the answer is usually "delete it, restore it from source control if you need it back". Now how do I find that piece of source code in the repository? Let's limit scope to SVN for simplicity - I suspect that using any other source control system will not make much difference in this aspect (correct me if I'm wrong). If I delete that code and commit the changes it will no longer be in the latest revision. How do I find it without exporting each revision and searching thoroughly (which is nearly impossible)?

    I am usingtextarea to get some inputs. A label shows the updated chars left. It works fine in IE, but in FF 3.0, after reaching the max limit, it doesn't allow to delete or backspace key. I am using a javascript function on keypress event of the textarea. the javascript code is function checkLength() { var opinion = document.getElementById('opinion').value; if(opinion.length > 50) alert("You have reached the mas limit."); else document.getElementById('limit').innerHTML = 50 - opinion.length; } while on the page, i am using this <label id="limit">50 </label> <textarea id="opTxtArea" onkeypress="javascript:checkLength();"></textarea> Everything is working fine. The problem arises in FF, when the inputs reach the max limit, the message is displayed, but it doesn't allow to delete or backspace.

    I'm not sure how to describe this, but basically I have a PHP class file: class HelloHello { public function getSomeData($input_parameter){ // code to retrieve data from the database } public function deleteSomeData($input_parameter){ // code to delete data from the database } } This class is on the server and is part of the backend that connects with a database, and it's meant to be accessed by the frontend SWF only (not to be directly accessed). I've setup Flex to read this class and access it. But how do I make sure that someone doesn't develop a script that can call this php file directly and access its methods? For example using a script to add data in a fast automated way, or use the delete method directly, ouch. Is this a legitimate concern, or this can't be done?

  • Memory leak while using emoticons on CRichEditCtrl

    I'm developing a text editor class (for a chat application) based on CRichEditCtrl (MFC) with emoticon support. After i load the emoticon's bitmap, I use the function OleCreateStaticFromData to insert it into CRichEditCtrl. After that i just delete the bitmap object allocated by myself. I can verify (using a GDIView utility) that all resources i allocate have been properly released. This works perfectly: the bitmap (emoticon) is drawn on the CRichEditCtrl window and is handled just like a character. My problem is that I don't know how to deallocate the memory (internal) allocated by OleCreateStaticFromData to manage the bitmap (emoticon). The memory allocated for any emoticon used is never released, even if i delete the CRichEditCtrl object. I'd like to know how to fix that issue. Is that a MFC's issue or i'm doing something wrong ?     Hello, I am trying to use Piston to provide REST support to Django. I have implemented my handlers as per the documentation provided . The problem is that i can "read" and "delete" my resource but i cannot "create" or "update". Each time i hit the relevant api i get a 400 Bad request Error.   • to-many Core Data fetch request behaves oddly with a new store

    I have two entities, Department and Person. Department has a to-many relationship to Person. The Person entity has a hireDate property. I'm using the predicate "count(person) = 0 OR none person.hireDate %@" to find Departments without any Persons in them or Departments that haven't hired anyone since a recent date. When the app first starts up (new user experience) and Departments are inserted and no Person have been inserted, the fetch request with this predicate returns nothing. However, if I create insert a new Person entity and delete it, then save the store, the fetch request will return all the Departments. I've found a work around where, I just insert a new Person and delete it, then save the store, the fetch request as I expected it to work. I've found that inserting a new Person and deleting it without saving will not correct the problem. Is this a bug with Core Data or is this a bug with how I've designed my app?

    I'm creating a table called news_feed, this will log all the actions a user performs. Lets say I want to store user1234 deleted article412 at midday I then need a table like so timestamp | user_id | subject_type | subject_id | method . there would be 5 potential methods to log, methods = add/edit/delete/update/report and lets say 2 possible subject_type subjects = article/comment I know i could make my own key where 0=add, 1=delete etc etc but this would make my queries cumbersome to use/write as i'd need to keep consulting the key. Is there a MySql type which can read lots of identially values quickly? is this ENUM? how do i use it?!!

I have a button in the parent document that says "Delete selected", and I'd like to be able to click this button and populate a hidden field in my parent page with the values of the selected checkboxes in the child iframe. My checkboxes look like this: <input id="Checkbox1" type="checkbox" value="47" title="Select this row" name="selectItem"/> I have an instance of jquery on my parent page so I can make use of jquery selectors, I just have no clue as to the syntax needed to do this.   • Best way to run remote VBScript in ASP.net? WMI or PsExec?

    I am doing some research to find out the best and most efficient method for this. I will need to execute remote scripts on a number of Window Servers/Computers (while we are building them). I have a web application that is going to automate this task, I currently have my prototype working to use PsExec to execute remote scripts. This requires PsExec to be installed on the system. A colleague suggested I should use WMI for this. I did some research in WMI and I couldn't find what I'm looking for. I want to either upload the script to the server and execute it and read the results, or already have the script on the server and execute it and read the results. I would prefer the first option though! Which is more ideal, PsExec or WMI? For reference, this is my prototype PsExec code. This script is only executing a small script to get the Windows OS and Service Pack Info.
