    Hello, I am trying to get my query to grab multiple rows while returning the maximum count of that query. My query: SELECT *, COUNT(*) as Max FROM tableA LIMIT 0 , 30 However, it is only outputting 1 record. I would like to return multiple record as it was the following query: SELECT * FROM tableA LIMIT 0 , 30 Do I have to use separate queries?

  • Adobe AIR - file locked by air

    Hello I am downloading and storing files locally in the app storage domain. For some reason one of the files gets locked by air. I found this by looking at process explorer. If I clear the browser cache the file never gets locked, only if it attempts to download the file but it exists in browser cache does air lock the damn file. Please can you help? Neil

    In python, there is no way to differentiate between arguments, local variables, and global variables. The easy way to do so might be have some coding convention such as Global variables start with _ and capital letter arguments end with with _ _Global variable = 10 def hello(x_, y_): z = x_ + y_ Is this a Pythonian way to go? I mean, is there well established/agreed coding-standards to differentiate them in python?

    Hello, I'm replacing some text with cufon on my page and I'm using jquery stylish select box plugin (http://www.scottdarby.com/plugins/stylish-select/0.4/) to style select boxes. The problem is that, in IE6 and IE7, select box goes under the cufonized text. (the select box is actually an <ul>). Anyone had this issue before? Thanks, Adrian

    Hello... I have created a set of tables (around 20) in MSSql 2008 and entered around 1000 records to appropriate tables. But the issue is that I want that same tables with all the entered data into MSSql 2005 (SQLEXPRESS). Obviously it won't work by taking a backup and restore it into MSSql 2005 as it won't support backward compatibility. Any suggestion would be appreciated.... Thanks in advance....

    Hello, When using asp.net ajax (scriptmanager, timer, updatepanel) with ie8, after certain time (~3h) IE breaks with null object, constructor, or paramArray (depending on the asp.net code). Even with the simplest timer (no ajax, no updatepanel) ie8 still breaks. On every other browser it works fine, and if I code the ajax myself it works. Since google and msdn forums turned up nothing I'm wondering if anybody here has had similar problems with ie8 browser.

    Hello, I'm trying to build a .Net application to interrogate Active Directory. From my research, Windows 2008 R2 has Active Directory Web Services (ADWS) built in. I can't find any details or examples anywhere on the web which tell me whether I should be able to use ADWS in a .Net application to read/write AD information.
