  • Rails layout: 2 cols cache and content_for..

    Hy, I have a layout that has 2 cols and in every view i have: content_for :main_col and content_for :side_col in some parts of the site, the side_col is always the same and how do i do that being DRY? partial render? i dont think is so good. then it comes to cache.. the content_for is not good to cache... you have better ideias on how to implement this?thanks

    Hello, I am using Classic asp and SQL Server 2005. This is code that works (Provided by another member of Stack Overflow): sqlStr = "USE "&databaseNameRecordSet.Fields.Item("name")&";SELECT permission_name FROM fn_my_permissions(null, 'database')" This code checks what permissions I have on a given database - the problem being - if I dont have permission it throws an error and doesn't continue to draw the rest of my page.     I am looking to write a few helpers in my own assembly modeled after the helpers in System.web.mvc. My problem is that I cannot use the call to Tagbuilder.ToMvcHtlString since it is internal. So if I return a string it wont be ready for asp.net 4 when it comes. I dont want to add anything to system.web.mvc as that is a given dll.

    i am particularly using netbeans gui editor and i am new to gui i have a jframe created and I added jtabbedpanel. inside the jtabbedpanel i have 2 panels that i call standard and compact i have set standardPanel = new ImagePanel(); which ImagePanel.java is located on different java file how am I suppose to put a panel on different file for reusability ? i obviously dont want all the codes in a single file. is this the right way to design a gui ? thanks

As the definition is above it is an ancestor of the SynchronizedStatement, but I dont get it working //SynchronizedStatement[Expression/PrimaryExpression/PrimaryPrefix/Name[@Image=ancestor::ClassOrInterfaceBody[ClassOrInterfaceBodyDeclaration/FieldVariableDeclaratorId/@Image]]] I know that /SynchronizedStatement[Expression/PrimaryExpression/PrimaryPrefix/Name[@Image= is correct, my problem is how to address the ancestor ClassOrInterfaceBody part.     hi i am integrating authorize.net AIM api into my shopping cart. i have a developer account from auth.net and i am working locally. when i do auth.net api call, i get SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK. Details: error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed i assume it's because i dont have ssl on my local machine. how do i get over this so i can test on my local machine? thank you
