• Drupal, Themekey module doesn't work for a user

  hi, Themekey module, (that I use to switch the theme on specific pages of my backend), works for my first Drupal user but it doesn't work for the second Drupal user. In other words, the second user see a page in its default theme. I was wondering if I have to create again the account for this user, and why ThemeKey module doesn't apply consistently to all users. The page I'm customizing a view from which you can edit the content of the website. i've checked for permissions, but I couldn't find any difference between the 2 users. Thanks

• height: auto does not work to automatically resize header

  I'm trying to do a simple thing in CSS I have a header tag and inside that a couple of h tags. So, in order to have a responsive design I do height:auto; inside the header tag, so it will automatically stretch to contain the h tags. Right? But does not work, headeris just a line in the top of the page. t should stretch to contain the titles, right? What am I missing? Is it a good practice to put CSS in the h tags and not style header at all? So h tags will be like the header in user's eye? Thanks in advence Check it here

• Getting 'choice' to work in Highline Ruby Gem without error and getting variable from it

  I'm having a couple of problems using Highline in Ruby, and trying to get the choice element, detailed here, to work. At the moment the following code produces the error "error: wrong number of arguments (0 for 1). Use --trace to view backtrace" How do I get the variable out of choice? At the moment I have the 'do' setup, but I have no idea about how to get the variable the user has chosen out and into a variable for use elsewhere.   I am using djcelery 2.1.4 with ghettoq 0.4.5 and django 1.2.3 and I am able to run tasks all day long, but when I try to use any broadcast functionality it fails without errors. Take the simplest case -- I run celeryd: python manage.py celeryd The daemon starts and I try to run a ping: >>> from celery.task.control import ping >>> ping() [] I can see the message that ping created appear in the database, but apparently none of the nodes are picking it up? Am I doing something wrong here? Does broadcast not work with carrot?

  I use wampserver2.1 php5.3.3, I found session_regenerate_id(true) not work in my script,document says when I set the parameter 'delete_old_sessions' true, there should be a new sid and all the session variables should be deleted, but the fact is after the function, $_session[abc] is still there. did I misunderstand the function,what is my problem?   It is well known that the user can define stream manipulators like this: ostream& tab(ostream & output) { return output<< '\t'; } And this can be used in main() like this: cout<<'a'<<tab<<'b'<<'c'<<endl; Please explain me how does this all work? If operator<< assumes as a second parameter a pointer to the function that takes and returns ostream &, then please explain my why it is necessary? What would be wrong if the function does not take and return ostream & but it was void instead of ostream &? Also it is interesting why “dec”, “hex” manipulators take effect until I don’t change between them, but user defined manipulators should be always used in order to take effect for each streaming?

• [Resolved] OWC does not work with IE8

  Hi, I have a web page that is generated with Access 2003 and uses Office Web Components. It worked fine with IE6 and IE7 but does not work anymore with IE8. Here are more details. I create an MSODSC component and a WSH object to get my ConnectionString in the registry. Then the Dropdown Lists are fed by a request to the database. It works perfect with IE6 and IE7, works locally with IE8 but if the page is served by IIS to IE8, the drop down lists are empty. Can anyone help me ? Thanks Mactov It was just a security issue. I had put my site in the confidence zone (according to the error message). I transfered it into intranet zone and it works perfect.

Using 'i' as the array index results in a non-constant expression. I don't understand how the compiler can evaluate the expression at compile time. Why isn't this flagged as an error?

• Lucene boost: I need to make it work better

  I'm using Lucene to index components with names and types. Some components are more important, thus, get a bigger boost. However, I cannot get my boost to work properly. I sill get some components appear later (get worse score), even though they have a higher boost. Note that the indexing is done on one field only and I've set the boost to that field alone. I'm using Lucene in Java. I don't think it has anything to do with the field length. I've seen components with the same name (but different type) get the wrong score.

• jQuery can't get if statement to work

I'm trying to finalize this horizontal scrolling I have and the last bit is to not just disable scrolling when the end is reached, but to also disable (well, change color) the scroll buttons at that point as well.   The main page ("parent.html") has a link that ajaxloads a page ("page1.html") into a div ("targetdiv") in the main page, like so: parent html: $("#targetdiv").html(loading).load('page1.html'); This works fine and "page1.html" is loaded into "targetdiv". The "page1.html" also has a link in it that is supposed to ajaxload another page ("page2.html") into "targetdiv" (onto itself), like so: page1.html: (in "targetdiv") $("#targetdiv").html(loading).load('page2.html'); This does not work; "html(loading)" comes up in "targetdiv" and stays there, "page2.html" is not loaded.
