• XSL testing empty strings with <xsl:if> and sorting

  I am having trouble with a template that has to check 3 different nodes and if they are not empty, print the data I am using for each node then doing the output but it is not printing anything. It is like the test returns zero. I have selected the parent node of each node i want to check the length on as the template match but it still doesn't work. Another thing, how do i sort the list using . I tried using this but i get an error about loading the stylesheet.   Hello, I would like to know if is there any easy way to test actionscript by using some kind of application like ruby's irb or javasctip spidermonkey where you can just open up your terminal and type the code straight away. This would be a good time saver when speaking of actionscript, since to test some syntaxes, classes, etc. you would need to compile it via fsch. but still not a good option just for quick testing, etc...   Is there any way to get around this exception? Can I not call a .NET 2.0 from 3.5? I have to write .NET 2.0 to maintain capability with BizTalk 2006/R2. But I would like to test with VS2008 Unit Tests to be consistent to other non-BizTalk code that we are testing. Test method ABC.UnitTest.UnitTest1.TestReferenceCode1 threw exception: System.MethodAccessException: ABC.EasyRegEx.extractUsingRegEx(System.String, System.String).

  I wonder if it is possible to use the SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) client on my machine with a specific domain user when my machine wasn’t in that domain. In fact, many developers use some SSMS add-ons installed on their machine (with appropriate licenses), which greatly simplify their daily work. For example, I’m a Red Gate SQL Prompt addicted , so it’d be convenient for me to work on customers’ SQL Server instances with this tool.   If you’re interested in time-lapse photography but underwhelmed by the in-camera options (or lack there of) or don’t want to shell out money for an expensive commercial intervalometer, this DIY option is pretty slick solution. Achim Sack, a fan of hardware hacking and time lapse photography, created a super tiny interval timer that works with Nikon, Canon, and Pentax DSLRs. Plug it in, snap a shot between 0.4 seconds and 18 minutes to set the interval and then leave it be. • user crontabs don't work, only /etc/crontab

  Hi when I use the command crontab -e to set up cron, the commands get triggered (according to syslog) but nothing happens. Also if I run sudo crontab -e. The only way to actually get cron working is to manually etc /etc/crontab I'm confused, since syslog gives me the same output for both methods. Any ideas for tracing down this bug? Thanks alot!

• Single-Purpose SSH account, exclusively for Reverse Port Forwarding

  On my Debian system, I'd like to create a user that is only allowed to do a Reverse Port Forward from their machine to my server, but I'm not sure how to create a limited user specifically for this purpose. For example, we'll call my server 'Sam' and my laptop 'Luke'. I'd like a user on Luke to be able to execute a reverse port forward ssh command to Sam, so that port 4321 on Sam is tunneled to port 4321 on Luke. For example: ssh -fnR 4321:localhost:4321 -l limitedUser Sam How can I create a user on Sam that is only allowed to execute this command?

• Low disk space: home/user folder occupies 94GB

  I am low on disk space and when I check the Disk Usage analyzer (using gksudo baobab) it indicates that my home/teddy folder is using 94GB, but when I browse through its contents I can only account for about 1gb of that usage. I've tried sudo apt-get clean and deleting the cached package files from Synaptic Package Manager, emptied trash but that has not changed the amount of free space I have. It seems similar to this problem But using the root disk usage analyzer has not given any insight into what is consuming so much space. Any ideas?

  I have a custom model binder that uses data from session, tempdata, and form collection (hypothetically, of course!). When testing my model binder, need to create a ModelBindingContext with a ValueProvider. Trouble is, I can't see how I can have one ValueProvider that serves multiple value provider types. • How to create a "shutdown user" or "shutdown account"

  Red Hat had a feature useful to me at the present time. There was an account, generally called "shutdown", and when you logged in with the account, the system shut down. In my specific case, I have Ubuntu Server running in a VM on my local system. The VM is running a web app, and when I'm done doing work, I want to shut down the VM. Unfortunately, I can't install VMware tools to get the "power button" based shutdown. Currently I login then sudo shutdown -h now, then type my password again, and things shutdown. Really, it's getting annoying all that waiting around and typing things. How do I replicate the "shutdown account" functionality in Ubuntu? A related question, were there any security gotchas that motivated people to stop using this kind of account?
