  • Asp.net regularexpressionvalidator fires even when CausesValidation="false"

    I have a regularexpression validator which validates a valid email. I have two buttons on my form. Submit and undo. On undo, we are reverting the page state to default submit has it validationgroup set while undo doesnot have any validationgroup and CausesValidation="false". Now when i navigate to page and enter invalid emailaddress,i directly click undo. the validator fires and stops my page from posting.however if i press tab and navigate to other control and then click undo,the validator shows error message but posts back and furthur proessing is done. This is very strange and i want the page to postback without any error message when i click undo.how to achieve it.

  • Simple Binding question, unable to bind to button command in a DataTemplate using MVVM Light Toolkit

    I've been attempting to bind to buttons within a DataTemplate without much success. The button does not fire. Button Click works successfully outside of the DataTemplate. Yet if I create a Click="button_click" the click button is fired. The Button Content binds perfectly as well. Example to illustrate.. Why does the command not fire? Advice on how this should be handled this? The example is a simplified version of my real problem, I am currently not using a Listbox. I only recreated the same problem with a listbox..

Is this just a difference in versions of Interface Builder? Where did it go?

For example: a have a table, and it has 4 tds. table's background color is white. if i click to a td, a td should be red, than if i click to b, b td should be red and a td should be white again. if i click to c than, c should be red and b should be white right now.     I was recently asked to fix something on a site which I haven't worked on before. I haven't really worked with jQuery that much, but I figured I'd take a look and see if I could fix it. I've managed to mostly clear up the problem, but I'm still horrified at the way they chose to build this site. On document load, they replace the click() method of every anchor tag and form element with the same massive function. When clicked, that function then checks if the tag has one of a few different attributes (non-standard attributes, even), and does a variety of different tasks depending on what attributes exist and what their values are. Some hyperlinks have an attribute on them called 'ajaxrel', which makes the click() function look for another (hidden) hyperlink with an ID specified by the ajaxrel attribute, and then calls the click() function for that other hyperlink (which was also modified by this same click() function). On the server side, all the php files are quite long and have absolutely no indentation. This whole site has been a nightmare to debug. Is this standard jQuery practice? This navigation scheme seems terrible. Does anyone else actually use jQuery this way? I'd like to start incorporating it into my projects, but looking at this site is giving me a serious headache.   • Will installing Ubuntu using Wubi erase Windows?

    I have an HP laptop with 2 partitions: C: and D:, with windows 7 installed in the C: drive and D: is the Recovery partition. When I try to install Ubuntu 12.04 LTS using Wubi, it only shows the C: drive for installing and not the D: drive where I wanted to format and install ubuntu. So, if I go ahead and install in the C: drive where windows 7 is already installed, would Wubi erase windows 7? Or it will just install Ubuntu as a program in windows?

  • Expandable listview with selectall checkbox : group itemclick and scrolling bug

    I have an ExpandableListView with a checkbox next to group name and when expanded, child items with checkbox as well. Let's suppose I have 4 groups with 50 childs. When a group is expanded, and I click on select all checkbox, everything works fine, all checkbox are selected and keep their state if I scroll. But if I scroll untill the last child of the list, scrolling gets buggy after that ( scrolling to the top and then touching the screen to stop the scrolling doesn't work anymore), clicking on group doesn't work anymore too, untill I click on selectall checkbox again. Clicking on a child checkbox does nothing, I must click on selectall checkbox for everything to work. I changed Focusable state of the child checkbox, group checkbox and tried many ways, but I can not find a solution to this. Do you have an idea of where it is coming from?

    I am developing site for online advertisements where sellers and buyers can come and sell/buy advertisements. Just need to develop detailed statistics like click counts, from which page clicks are coming (one advertisement can be placed on many pages), from which position (top, right, left ...) click are coming (one advertisement can be placed in different position on single page) etc. I seen that most of the advertisement on popular websites has following format: http://ads.stackoverflow.com/a.aspx?Task=Click&ZoneID=3&CampaignID=838&AdvertiserID=50&BannerID=1335&SiteID=1&RandomNumber=1463177307&Keywords=c%23%2c.net%2ccollections%2cdictionary%2chashtable It has many parameters like ZoneID, CampaignID, AdvertiserID, BannerID, SiteID, RandomNumber, adid, adcrid, obid, obtid and way. I can use one advertisement (adid) in multiple pages. But can't figure out the way to distinguish between from which pages clicks are coming. How can I use such parameters to generate statistics which tell me the page from which clicks are coming?

  • gnat programming studio auto fix issues

    hi, I'm using GNAT Programming Studio to update some ada files. I have a style check, which for these old files produces literally thousands of warnings. Helpfully GPS has a little auto fix 'wrench' icon in the locations view, that's great but I don't want to go through and click the wrench ten thousand times. Is there a way to have it correct these errors automatically without me having to click each wrench? They are all right so I want to be changed automatically. I saw some documentation saying you could do it: http://www.adacore.com/wp-content/files/auto_update/gps-docs/Code-Fixing.html But I don't get the auto fix option when I right click. Maybe you need the pro version? I've tried everything I can think of. This would save hours of work, so it's really appreciated if someone could help on this. Thanks!

    I have a mpg file hosted in Amazon S3, that I want to link to a page I have, so the user will be able to download it from the page. I have in my page a linke: bla bla" The link to the file workds when I right click it and choose "Save Target As" , but I would like it to work also when I left click it, and that it will open a file download dialog. right now, a left click will direct to a page that has the video directly played in it (in FireFox) or just won't load (in Explorer) I am working in php, anyone has a clue why this happens?
