    Hi, i have been looking for a javascript code which is like the facebook "like" widget to put in my blogger site. The examples of the buttons are like in the following website, http://textsfromlastnight.com/ Where people are able to flag the "Good Nights" or "Bad Nights".   • Net::HTTP Gives time out but browser visit returns data

    I tried the following Net::HTTP.get_print URI.parse(URI.encode('https://graph.facebook.com/me/likes?access_token=mytoken', '|')) (My Token is my actual token in code) I get a EOFError: end of file reached error If I visit the page with my browswer it loads up a JSON page. Any idea what could be causing the error? It was working a few days ago. Can't see any changes to facebook api.

Error 4: not well-formed (invalid token). Error 4: not well-formed (invalid token)</li> </ul> </dd> </dl> There is nothing in /logs to indicate what the problem is. I have uploaded the following folders from a freshly unzipped copy of Joomla 1.5.22: administrator components includes language\en-GB libraries modules plugins templates\ja_purity xmlrpc and the issue remains. I have no custom or additional plugins, modules, or components installed. If I change templates, the problem remains. What is the problem?

  • XFBML fb:login_button only loading 20% of the time

    I have a fb:login-button that is working but the button only displays about 20% of the time I load the page. Have a look here to see what I mean, bearing in mind I have never had to refresh the page more than 20 times before I finally turns up.   • Way to Remove Invite Limit on FBML Multi-Friend Selector

    Hi there, I tried to look through various resources before posting here, but was having a surprisingly difficult time finding an answer to my question. Sorry in advance if I overlooked it. I'm currently trying to add the FBML Multi-Friend Selector to my Facebook page. It has a limit on the number of friends you can invite at a time ("Add up to 20 of your friends by clicking on their pictures below"). From what I've looked through it sounds like 20 is the max number of friends a user can invite, but then looking at Mint's page, they have a 22 max invite (http://www.facebook.com/mint?ref=ts) I thought it might be based on number of page fans, as Mint has 56,000, but that doesn't seem to be the case as this page only has 256 fans and have a max of 26 friend invites (http://www.facebook.com/tivix?v=app_106437999388442). Therefore, I don't really understand how this system works. Is there a way for me to increase to 26? Unlimited? Thanks for your help!

However, sometimes, the bridge connection fails and I see thatin the URL, facebook attach the fb_noscript=1 parameter there. e.g. apps.facebook.com/myapp/?fb_noscript=1 when I remove it, and reload the apps, it is all good. I just don't know what I get the fb_noscript thing. and how to get rid of it.

    Hi all, I am building a small facebook application. I am using asp.net and currently working with the fb:req-choice control (tied along with fb:request-form and fb:multi-friend-selector). Problem is, that when I specify the redirect url for when the user clicks my invitation, instead of getting what I specified: http://apps.facebook.com/myApp/forum.aspx?tId=1&ref=app&code=2.74rRNejG7tpAOqgDCNf8qA__.3600.1275202400-106570384737670%7CPi8JpoHDW3xGuq2lxdZl1d4CLUU.     I've integrated facebook login with my application and I want to logout the user from facebook when he logs out of my application. So I did the following: <a href="<c:url value='/security_logout'/>" onclick="FB.logout();">Logout</a> This works on Firefox and Chrome but doesn't work on IE8. In IE8 the user is logged out of the application but is not logged out of Facebook. Anyone else experiencing this?

    I'm adding a facebook comment widget to a website. I'm placing this widget in a file that is included on everypage. The navigation is relatively linked so it switches back and forth from http and https. But for some reason the comment widget only shows up if both the src linked file and webpage is secure or both the src linked file and webpage is NOT secure. The widget does not display of the src file is secure and the webpage is not secure. So...     I m a graphic designer and have created a website in Joomla that uses a "lightbox" (ignite gallery) plugin to view images from the site. I have created a facebook 'website' app that allows for comments to be posted via facebook in the lightbox (also a like button) - all of which are really just options that you allow in the ignite gallery options. Everything seems to work fine, I can comment and it will appear under the photo in the lightbox, as I asked it too, it also sends a copy of the comment to the commenter's facebook page with links. How do I also get the comments from the website (lightbox plugin) to also appear on the clients "fan page" that already exists?? Much appreciate any help..

    Hello, I am creating a poll script for a facebook fan page: http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=115400635147687&v=app_115400635147687 I am getting the IP using: $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'] But the problem is that each time I refresh the page, or make an ajax call, the IP is changed everytime. Someone told me that facebook has many IPs, proxies. Basically I need to save the IP in database, so that once a user from certain IP has voted, he should not be able to do so again. What is the solution or alternative to this?
