    This is a simple problem, but I'm having problems with it... I'm trying to use Google common collection's Objects.equal() method in a GWT client code, but I'm keep getting the error "20:12:10.001 [ERROR] [gwt_regex] Line 39: No source code is available for type com.google.common.base.Objects; did you forget to inherit a required module?" Tried to Google for the answer, but couldn't find any answer regarding this - everyone just said "Google collection should work off the box with GWT".

    An intelligent coworker friend of mine brought up a question to me that I was uncertain how to answer and I'd like to pose it to the world. If a RESTful endpoint uses token-based authentication, aka a time-based token is required to access a resource and that token expires after a certain amount of time, would this violate the RESTful principle? In other words, if the same URL expires after a certain amount of time, so the resource returns a different response depending when it was requested, is that breaking REST?

  • Moss workflow approval using minimal site definition

    Hi When using the minimal site definition for moss from codeplex (http://www.codeplex.com/features), after adding the features required for workflow, workflow approval becomes available for the pages library. When I submit a page for approval, the buttons for approve and reject do not appear on the page editing toolbar. I can go and view the workflow approval and approve/reject it but the normal buttons on the page editing toolbar do not appear. Any ideas greatly appreciated.

  • Unselecting RadioButtons in Java Swing

    When displaying a group of JRadioButtons, initially none of them is selected (unless you programmatically enforce that). I would like to be able to put buttons back into that state even after the user already selected one, i.e., none of the buttons should be selected. However, using the usual suspects doesn't deliver the required effect: calling 'setSelected(false)' on each button doesn't work. Interestingly, it does work when the buttons are not put into a ButtonGroup - unfortunately, the latter is required for JRadioButtons to be mutually exclusive. Also, using the setSelected(ButtonModel, boolean) - method of javax.swing.ButtonGroup doesn't do what I want. I've put together a small program to demonstrate the effect: two radio buttons and a JButton. Clicking the JButton should unselect the radio buttons so that the window looks exactly as it does when it first pops up. import java.awt.Container; import java.awt.GridLayout; import java.awt.event.*; import javax.swing.*; /** * This class creates two radio buttons and a JButton. Sample process: Develop it: Patch bugs, add features, etc. Feature Freeze (do not fix, add anything unless it's absolutely required) Test it If everything is OK release it, if it's not fix it, test it, release it I think the most crucial question is what's your approach to "feature freeze test release" cycle? Or do you test it more frequently that you don't need such a cycle and your software is always ready for public release?

    I want lots of lovely warnings when compiling. I've set my build configuration to be based on a build config file I have. When I switch to GCC 4.0, it generates all the required warnings. As soon as I change to the Clang LLVM compiler, all the warnings disappear. Every other setting is identical. What am I missing?

  • Placement of command line options in bash

    I just starting using a Mac and have been frustrated that command line options are required immediately following the command so that this works: ls -la /usr but this doesn't: ls /usr -la ls: -la: No such file or directory Is there any way to change this? Or can someone tell me why the placement of options is agnostic on most Linux platforms, but not on Mac?
