    But it clearly does not fail on my system. The Verification test in XCode during the submission should (I assume) test this.     This is sort of a continuation of one of my earlier posts, which involves the resolving of modules in my WPF application. This question is specifically related to the effect of interdependencies of modules and the method of constructing those modules (i.e. via MEF or through new) on MEF's ability to resolve relationships. I then used an [Import] to try to get MEF to resolve that for me. Can anyone explain how the two ways I have approached MEF here are flawed? I have been in the dark for so long that instead of reading about MEF and trying different suggestions, I've added MEF to my solution and am stepping into the code. The part where it looks like it fails is when it calls partManager.GetSavedImport(). For some reason, the importCache is null, which I don't understand. All the way up to this point, it's been looking at the part (Window1) and trying to resolve two imported interfaces -- IError and IPlugin. I would have expected it to enter code that looks at other assemblies in the same executable folder, and then check it for exports so that it knows how to resolve the imports...

  • Is it possible to attach a debugging session to a running program in eclipse CDT

    I'm writing a netscape iplanet plugin (on solaris/C using eclipse) which is basically a shared object with specific entry points, and I'd like to be able to debug the shared object with eclipse's debugger (gdb). I remember doing something similar in AIX where you could make xldb attach to a running process. Is it possible to get eclipse to run gdb to attach to a running binary? And should I expect grief because I want to debug a dynamically loaded piece of code?

  • Imagemagick mogrify stopped working on Cygwin

    I've been using Imagemagick's mogrify on Cygwin, but at some point it stopped working. I've tried uninstalling / reinstalling, but still no go. When I try to run mogrify it trows this error : /usr/bin/mogrify.exe: error while loading shared libraries: ?: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Anyone have any hints on what's causing this ?

    I am using addthis (addthis.com) to offer sharing on items listed on a page (stage.hverdagskupp.no). Since each item on the page is unique, I want the shared information to be unique as well. However, facebook and twitter only seems to allow global page information to be shared. Anyone knows how to define item specific sharing information with addthis, for facebook and twitter?

I know they are working because there are entries for touching the web.config or /bin files. We also ran a memory overload test and can trigger an OutOfMemoryException which is caught in Application_Error. We are trying to determine whether the virtual memory limit is causing the recycling. We have added GC.GetTotalMemory(false) throughout the code, but this is for all of .Net, not just our App´s pool, correct? We've also tried var oPerfCounter = new PerformanceCounter(); oPerfCounter.CategoryName = "Process"; oPerfCounter.CounterName = "Virtual Bytes"; oPerfCounter.InstanceName = "iisExpress"; logger.Debug("Virtual Bytes: " + oPerfCounter.RawValue + " bytes"); but don't have permission in shared hosting. I've monitored the app on a dev server with the same requests that caused the recycles in production with ANTS Memory Profiler attached and can't seem to find a culprit. We have also run it with a debugger attached in dev to check for uncaught exceptions in spawned threads that might cause the app to abort. My questions are these: How can I effectively monitor memory usage in shared hosting to tell how much my application is consuming prior to an application recycle? Why are the Application_[End/OnEnd/Error] handlers in global.asax not being called? How else can I determine what is causing these recycles? Thanks.

I managed to login to SSH and i typed pwdbut it gave me a shared hosting pathway like /home/content/r/o/s/roshanjonah How Can i go to the path where i upload my files to...i use FTP but in FTP path it just shows / so i cannot go any further back than that...so using SSH how can i come to this path in ftp...   • server|configuration problem, a php script just die with no error log & no reason

    Hi (first of all, thanks for your attention & sorry for my bad english hahaha also this is not a programming error, or thats what I think, I think this is an error in some configuration of the server or something else but I dont know what) I have a php script (is running like a process of linux, its not running on the web browser) that send SMS via SMPP on the port 2055 (using sockets in php) & then inserts like 10,000 rows into a dababase on MySQL, the script gets the data from a XML file; firts it was running in a shared server (Hostgator is our hosting provider) & at the begining it worked fine, with no trouble, but 5 months later an error appear, the process just die with no reason, the script only sent & inserted 700 rows in the table of the database & the process didnt show any warning or error, nothing appears in the error logs, & I didnt make any change in the script Hostgator never helped us hahaha so we decided to move the script from the shared server to a dedicated server; I thought it was a memory problem or something like that, but when we move the script to the dedicated server the problem just get worse, the script die when has just sent & inserted 40 to 50 rows to the database the information about this error: the shared server is on Red Hat 4.1.2-46 & the dedicated server is on CentOS 5.4 I have commented the line that sends the SMS, & the problem remains in the shared server, at the begining the script was fine, but then the script started to die when has just inserted 700 aprox. in the database, & now the script is dying when has inserted 2500 rows, its better but we didnt change anything in the dedicated server, the script dies when has just inserted like 40 row in the table the script, before it dies, change to a zombie process & we dont know why the usage of memory appears to be 0.3%, and of the cpu appears to be 0.7% to 1% I have changed the max memory limit of php to 128Mb, and even to -1 (so php wont have any limit) but the problem remains we have the limit of 50 connections of mysql at the same time, so I think this is not the problem Im using mysqli to connect from php to mysql Hostgator report that they haven't made any change or update in the servers what could be the problem?? what should I do??? what should I search??? is something in the logic Im missing?? what steps do I have to follow when managing & searching problems of process on Linux??? thank you very much, I think this is not a programming problem, but you have more experience than me, you can tell me thanks!!! bye!!! :)

    Let's say I am writing installation script for the program which contains executable file and shared library. By default, this script places executable to /usr/local/bin, and shared library to /usr/local/lib. In this case my program may be executed by any user by typing its name in the command line. Suppose that user selects custom installation directory, like ~/myprogram/. Is it user's responsibility to ensure that my program may be executed, or my installation script must do this?

I am using the Castle DefaultServiceHostFactory to provide the service to IIS in the .svc file. However, I need to programmatically specify certain end points and behaviours and I do not know how to retrieve the current ServiceHost.   • Daemon running as user nobody needs to copy file from Desktop

    I have a daemon that is running as user nobody. It needs to copy a file that I specify into /Users/Shared/MyFolder If I tell it to copy a file that is already in /Users/Shared/ it works fine. If I tell it to copy it from somewhere in my home directory like the desktop, the copy fails. I'm using NSFileManager copyPath:toPath: Any ideas?
