  I have one device which sends data on COM port say on COM13, now i want to read that data and display it in the RichtextBox or in any text control , i have written the application with the help of IO and IO.Ports but comport.DataRecived event does not fire,even though device is sending data on that port, I have some software on which i define the port number and it successfully display data ,which insure me that data is reciving on the Port but i am unable to recive, is there any way i can read data?   Hi, I having a hard time to consume this webservice https://www.arello.com/webservice/verify.cfc?wsdl in my rails application. I successfully generated the ruby files with the wsdl2ruby.rb but when un run the generated script I get the following error: at depth 0 - 20: unable to get local issuer certificate OpenSSL::SSL::SSLError: SSL_connect returned=1 errno=0 state=SSLv3 read server certificate B: certificate verify failed I also tried to connect via this script but same issue require 'http-access2' client = HTTPAccess2::Client.new() client.ssl_config.set_trust_ca('/arello.cert') puts client.get('https://www.arello.com/webservice/verify.cfc?wsdl').content Any ideas? • Use of XMLHttpRequest in Dashboard widget failing

  I am unable to get an XMLHttpRequest object to work correctly in a Dashboard widget I am writing. I've isolated it to a trivial example not working in the global scope of the main.js file: xhr = new XMLHttpRequest; xhr.open( 'GET', "http://google.com", false ); xhr.send(''); When the last line is executed I get the error "ABORT_ERR: XMLHttpRequest Exception 102" (this is in the Dashcode debugger). Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong here?

  Hi Stackoverflowers, if i rebuild my catalog in plone i get many of this infos: 2010-02-18T11:26:09 INFO Archetypes Error while trying to convert file contents to 'text/plain' in .getIndexable() of : Unable to find binary "wvHtml" in /sbin:/usr/sbin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/usr/games:/usr/lib/jvm/jre/bin This happens to doc and pdf files. • package is not found, even though it's in both build classpath and runtime classpath

  I am unable to compile a Java program because the compiler cannot find some of the packages needed even though they are in both the build classpath and runtime classpath. Other packages it can find just fine. The image below shows the problem.   Hi All, I asked another question, stating that the I am unable to use WCF in a new Web Service project and have come to see that it seems to be the technology to use in regards to extensibility and security. My question is a simple one: How can I persuade management (and developers for that matter) to move over to using WCF as opposed to other web service technologies (ASMX/CFC)?   Right guys, all autocomplete plugins and functions that I've found, they only update upon keyup/down, etc. This is fine but the search only begins occurring once the user has stopped typing and if they are typing a phrase or word, the script is unable to instantly start suggesting, etc. I know this'll be a very simple fix or suggestion for some of you guys, so any help would be greatly appreciated as to how I can convert it to be instantly as a key is pressed. • Avaudioplayer problem regarding songs

  I am using avaudioplayer for playing mp3 songs. The problem is in being able to catch the instance of the player to control it i.e. Stop it, Play it etc. The code by default creates multiple instances of the same player and overlaps the songs.
