  • Google Analytics - async tracking with two accounts

    I'm currently testing GAs new async code snippet using two different tracking codes on the same page; _gaq.push( ['_setAccount', 'UA-XXXXXXXX-1'], ['_trackPageview'], ['b._setAccount', 'UA-XXXXXXXX-2'], ['b._trackPageview'] ); Although both codes work, I've noticed that they present inconsistent results. Now, we aren't talking huge differences here, only 1 or 2 visits / day every now and then. However, this site is tiny and 1 or 2 visits equates to a 15% difference in figures. Now, the final site has much more traffic, but my concerns are; will this inconsistancy scale with traffic? assuming not, is a slight variation in recorded stats an accepted norm?

    Most of my users have email addresses associated with their profile in /etc/passwd. They are always in the 5th field, which I can grab, but they appear at different places within a comma-separated list in the 5th field. Can somebody give me a regex to grab just the email address (delimeted by commas) from a line in this file? (I will be using grep and sed from a bash script) Sample lines from file: user1:x:1147:5005:User One,Department,,,[email protected]:/home/directory:/bin/bash user2:x:1148:5002:User Two,Department2,[email protected],:/home/directory:/bin/bash

    I have a table that I'm querying for value 43 in the second field and I return the value of the third field SELECT t1_field3 FROM table1 WHERE t1_field2=43 this returns 19, 39,73 t1_id t1_field2 t1_field3 ----- --------- --------- 1 43 19//// 2 43 39//// 3 43 73//// 4 73 43 5 13 40 Then I separately query a second table for additional information SELECT * FROM table2 WHERE t2_id=t1_field3 t2_id t2_field2 t2_field3 ----- --------- --------- 19 value19.2 value19.3 39 value39.2 value39.3 73 value73.2 value73.3 Is there a way I could combine both table1 and table2 in the same query?

I am using partial classes and the method OnValidate(). If the field is empty, it throws an exception. Is this correct?     Whlie reading codes of my group project, I come across many DEFINEs, and some of them seems strange. To generalize it, please look at the following 2 examples. Example 1: #define SNPRINTF(dst, fmt, arg...) snprintf(dst, sizeof(dst), fmt, ##arg) what does "##" means in this circumstance? I've tried to delete both of them, and write codes like "char buf[1024]; SNPRINTF(buf,"%s,%s","abcd","efg");" which produced the same result. So "##" seems no use and no harm to me. Example 2: #define CLOSE(fd) do { \ if (-1 != (fd)) { \ close(fd); \ (fd) = -1; \ } \ } while (0) Necessary to stuff the inner code to the do{}while(0) statement? what's the use? Thanks!

How can I achieve this on a web page with HTML and Javascript? The select field doesn't let users enter text, and the input text field doesn't show the preferred alternatives. All items must show if the user opens the dropdown, so it can't be a simple auto-complete that only shows matching items.

  • Google Map API V3 geocoder not showing the correct place

    I am upgrading my codes from Google Map API V2 to V3. In V2, I used GlocalSearch to get the latitude and longitude for the given address. In V3, I saw google.maps.Geocoder() and try to get the similar detail. However, the lat & long given by the V3 function is not accurate.   • CI pagination, POST problem

    Okay, I am pretty new in CI and I am stuck on pagination. I am performing this pagination on a record set that is result of a query. Now everything seems to be working fine. But there’s some problem probably with the link. I am displaying 10 results per page. Now if the results are less than 10 then it’s fine. Or If I pull up the entire records in the table it works fine. But in case the result is more than 10 rows, then the first 10 is perfectly displayed, and when I click on the pagination link to get to the next page the next page displays the rest of the results from the query as well as, other records in the table. ??? I am confused.. Any help??
