Hi,
In Silverlight toolkit chart control, the X-Axis value is displayed by default in ascending order. How do I make display in descending order?
Thanks...
I have a Silverlight 3 project in VS2008. Today, for whatever reason, I get an error when compiling.
Configuration system failed to initialize
It reports the error on Line 1, Column 1 for every .xaml file in the project.
I did a repair on VS2008, reinstalled all the Silverlight 3 bits (e.g. SDK, VS2008 tools and the Controls Toolkit), but the problem still persists.
Am I missing something simple?
hi,
here is my case , i want to assign roles to my employees. All Roles are need to be sent to the constructor of the employee class when a user clicks + sign on the top of dataform(Silverlight toolkit 2009).
if i put a break point on the default constructor , it gets hit. so i just want the dataform to send this collection when ever it creates new employee.
thanks
Jamal.
We need a powerful datagrid for financial applications to replace existing winforms datagrids. Has anyone tried any 3rd party WPF datagrids recently?
We tested a number of WPF grids over a year ago, but at the time they weren't up to standards when compared to their winforms counterparts (in terms of functionality).
Please do not reply with:
WPF Toolkit
ListView
You don't need datagrids
Where can I find System.Windows.Controls.dll for Silverlight 3? I need it to be able to use the TreeView control and the AutoCompleteBox control. Toolkit November 2009 is installed but the dll that I need was not included.
So I see that MVC 2 now supports [HttpPut] and [HttpDelete] as well as [HttpGet] and [HttpPost], making it possible to do a full RESTful Web service using it.
I've been using the REST toolkit for WCF for a while and find it fairly powerful, but I'd be interested to find out what (if any) advantages there are using the MVC 2 approach.
Links, war stories, or even pure hear-say are welcome.
I am using Facebook Toolkit.
I have appKey and appSecret, but I dont want that visitor need to conenct to facebook. I will use my login/passwork to get my wall posts. This is possible?
I have a GridView Control that for other functionality has to be inside an update panel. The site is using the Ajax Control Toolkit and the "EnableSortingAndPagingCallbacks" property on the Grid is set to false. However, when I execute a paging call it is still doing it as a callback instead of a postback. How do I fix this and get the paging calls to fire as a postback?
Trying the -v switch, I get the parrot svn revision:
$ perl6 -v
This compiler is built with the Parrot Compiler Toolkit, parrot revision 45822.
but how do I know the rakudo version, either a vx.xx or {some-git-hash}?
Thanks,
Hi
I'm using Google web toolkit to develop a small login page. I'm using GWT Designer. My problem is that the rootPanel is not being displayed at the centre but at the top-left corner of the browser. How can I put it at the centre of the page plz?
Thanks and regards,

Is there any way (library or native) to use the printing API to print an XPS document? I tried using the Document Toolkit API which works up to a point, but I get a COM exception when I try to set PrintPageEventArgs.PageVisual.
I'm trying to move our Google Web Toolkit (GWT) development from Eclipse to IntelliJ 9 Community edition. So far I've been able to run and debug client/server code successfully via the GWT Maven plugin and its embedded Jetty container.
However, I'm having trouble debugging client code when it is already running on a remote machine (and hence there's no need for the embedded Jetty container).
Has anyone been successful at achieving this? Any help would be appreciated!
Background: I have been attempting to read the rating that is assigned in Adobe Bridge CS3 using the creative commons Metadata toolkit for php without success. I am using shared hosting so I do not have an oppotunity to recompile php with different modules.
Is php code available that could be used to read the rating that is embedded in the .jpg file? I have read that this is an xmp (xml) formatted section within the file.
I can run my Java Swing application from Eclipse without problems. But when I run it from a .jar-file, the images fails to load.
I load my images with:
setIconImage(Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().
getImage(getClass().getResource("../images/logo.png")));
How can I load the images so they work even when I'm running from a .jar-file?
I've got a working proprietary application (windows exe) and would like to know which particular toolkit was used to make it. The reason is that I like the widgets it uses and seek to use same library in my project (to buy it if it's proprietary as well).
I'm looking for a Windows port of the UNIX touch command. I don't want to install an entire MKS toolkit just for the one tool. Is there a native port available somewhere or a command in Windows that does the same thing and supports features like all files in a directory by wildcard?
Specifically I'm after changing mtime, ctime and atime for a project that reports ages of files based on... mtime, ctime and atime.
Searchfield with autocomplete
I would like to make a searchfield with autocomplete, so when you write like 2 or 3 letters it will show a dropdownlist with results that match a column from a table in the database.
I have been reading all over the internet, and i have found out that it can be done with jQuery and AJAX Control Toolkit.
But i don't know how to make it compare the search textbox and the database and show results that match?
I am reading the tutorial at
http://code.google.com/p/google-web-toolkit-incubator/wiki/LoginSecurityFAQ
It states
Remember - you must never rely on the
sessionID sent to your server in the
cookie header ; look only at the
sessionID that your GWT app sends
explicitly in the payload of messages
to your server.
Is it use to prevent http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross-site_request_forgery#Example_and_characteristics
With this mythology, is it sufficient enough to prevent to above attack?
It seems to me that there must be some public domain collection of gettext compatible PO files that we could search for 1:1 or fuzzy translations for strings commonly used in software applications?
Is there a technical and copyright friendly way to query services like Google's Translator Toolkit, LaunchPad, Mygengo, etc. to find translations for common strings?
Thank you,
Malcolm
Hey,
I'm developing an blog using ASP.NET, and I want that the user can be able to add comments.
So I want to implement the idea of facebook on adding comments.
The comment will be stored in the database, so I will be able to load it with the page if the user goes to another web page.
You have any idea how can I do this thing ( Ajax, Javascript, jQuery, Ajax Toolkit ) ?
Does anyone know how we can install BIDS for SQL Server 2008 without having to install the Database Engine?
With the SQL Server 2008 Express install it appears to be mandatory to install the Database Engine when all we would like the end users to have access to is BIDS to develop their RDL's to deploy to an existing SSRS instance?
It looks like BIDS 2005 was available as a standalone download - the toolkit - however I cannot find anything similar for 2008.
My question is :
I want to know when does a xLayout (or ViewGroup in general) add a child view from XML ? And by "when" I mean at what point of code, in what "pass" of the "traversal" of the UI toolkit ?
Which method of xLayout or ViewGroup should I override ?
I have done my homework : I have watched the "Writing Custom Views For Android" presented (by Adam Powell and Romain Guy) in the last Google I/O and I have read Adam Powell comments on this Google+ post.
I am in the process of setting up a CUDA workstation.
Platform specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo
Nvidia GTX 280
Fedora 10
GCC version 4.3.2
I have installed the developer driver, toolkit, and the SDK. When I try to compile the SDK example code I get the following errors:
make[1]: * [obj/i386/release/cutil.cpp.o] Error 1
make: * [lib/libcutil.so] Error 2
I think this means that I am missing a library file but I'm not sure.
