  • Rate limit a wireless interface

    - by Jamie Hankins
I have access to my routers SSH and IPTables. I want to rate limit my guest network to 1Mb/s so they can't guzzle my bandwidth. rai1 RTWIFI SoftAP ESSID:"GuestNetwork" Nickname:"" Mode:Managed Channel=6 Access Point: :F9 Bit Rate=300 Mb/s wdsi0 RTWIFI SoftAP ESSID:"YouCan'tTouchThis" Nickname:"" Mode:Managed Channel=6 Access Point: :F8 Bit Rate=300 Mb/s wdsi1 RTWIFI SoftAP ESSID:"YouCan'tTouchThis" Nickname:"" Mode:Managed Channel=6 Access Point: :F9 Bit Rate=300 Mb/s wdsi2 RTWIFI SoftAP ESSID:"YouCan'tTouchThis" Nickname:"" Mode:Managed Channel=6 Access Point: Not-Associated Bit Rate:300 Mb/s wdsi3 RTWIFI SoftAP ESSID:"YouCan'tTouchThis" Nickname:"" Mode:Managed Channel=6 Access Point: Not-Associated Bit Rate:300 Mb/s I'm just wondering the command I need to limit it. I tried the iwconfig limit command but it failed. Thanks

  • What is the format of DXGI_FORMAT_D24_UNORM_S8_UINT?

    - by bobobobo
I'm trying to read the values in a depth texture of type DXGI_FORMAT_D24_UNORM_S8_UINT. I know this means "24 bits for depth, 8 bits for stencil" "A 32-bit z-buffer format that supports 24 bits for depth and 8 bits for stencil.", but how do you interpret those 24 bits? It's clearly not going to be a 32-bit int, and it's not going to be a 32-bit float. If it is an integer value, how "far away" is a value of "1" in the depth texture?

  • How to get a Toshiba L505 to boot USB or CD

    - by ShroudedCloud
OK, have a Toshiba L505 (not sure of the extended model number) that got a virus on Windows and will no longer will boot into that, so I'm trying to revive it with Ubuntu. Problem is, when I tell it to boot into a USB image of 12.04 32- or 64-bit, 13.04 64-bit, or elementary Luna 32-bit, it gives me some screen with a copyright from 2000 for Intel, invariably spits out a "media not recognized" type of error and then says PXE-ROM exiting. Well, that's annoying. So I went in with a CD (12.04 x86_64 having tried 32-bit in the past as well). Boot menu, select, starts running. Seeing the loading screen for Ubuntu, going well... until it's not. Again, invariably, it fails. The CD drive will cease spinning at around the same time each time and then the laptop will stop doing everything altogether (at least, everything spins down and it goes quiet). As far as I can tell, it's not to do with what function is being loaded from the CD at the time (because that bit is variable). I'd love to be able to boot from USB (since it will be all but required going forward), but getting the CD to work would be wondrous too. Anyone have any ideas of where I can go from here to try to fix this? My friends and I have turned up nothing.

  • Processing Text and Binary (Blob, ArrayBuffer, ArrayBufferView) Payload in WebSocket - (TOTD #185)

    - by arungupta
The WebSocket API defines different send(xxx) methods that can be used to send text and binary data. This Tip Of The Day (TOTD) will show how to send and receive text and binary data using WebSocket. TOTD #183 explains how to get started with a WebSocket endpoint using GlassFish 4. A simple endpoint from that blog looks like: @WebSocketEndpoint("/endpoint") public class MyEndpoint { public void receiveTextMessage(String message) { . . . } } A message with the first parameter of the type String is invoked when a text payload is received. The payload of the incoming WebSocket frame is mapped to this first parameter. An optional second parameter, Session, can be specified to map to the "other end" of this conversation. For example: public void receiveTextMessage(String message, Session session) {     . . . } The return type is void and that means no response is returned to the client that invoked this endpoint. A response may be returned to the client in two different ways. First, set the return type to the expected type, such as: public String receiveTextMessage(String message) { String response = . . . . . . return response; } In this case a text payload is returned back to the invoking endpoint. The second way to send a response back is to use the mapped session to send response using one of the sendXXX methods in Session, when and if needed. public void receiveTextMessage(String message, Session session) {     . . .     RemoteEndpoint remote = session.getRemote();     remote.sendString(...);     . . .     remote.sendString(...);    . . .    remote.sendString(...); } This shows how duplex and asynchronous communication between the two endpoints can be achieved. This can be used to define different message exchange patterns between the client and server. The WebSocket client can send the message as: websocket.send(myTextField.value); where myTextField is a text field in the web page. Binary payload in the incoming WebSocket frame can be received if ByteBuffer is used as the first parameter of the method signature. The endpoint method signature in that case would look like: public void receiveBinaryMessage(ByteBuffer message) {     . . . } From the client side, the binary data can be sent using Blob, ArrayBuffer, and ArrayBufferView. Blob is a just raw data and the actual interpretation is left to the application. ArrayBuffer and ArrayBufferView are defined in the TypedArray specification and are designed to send binary data using WebSocket. In short, ArrayBuffer is a fixed-length binary buffer with no format and no mechanism for accessing its contents. These buffers are manipulated using one of the views defined by one of the subclasses of ArrayBufferView listed below: Int8Array (signed 8-bit integer or char) Uint8Array (unsigned 8-bit integer or unsigned char) Int16Array (signed 16-bit integer or short) Uint16Array (unsigned 16-bit integer or unsigned short) Int32Array (signed 32-bit integer or int) Uint32Array (unsigned 16-bit integer or unsigned int) Float32Array (signed 32-bit float or float) Float64Array (signed 64-bit float or double) WebSocket can send binary data using ArrayBuffer with a view defined by a subclass of ArrayBufferView or a subclass of ArrayBufferView itself. The WebSocket client can send the message using Blob as: blob = new Blob([myField2.value]);websocket.send(blob); where myField2 is a text field in the web page. The WebSocket client can send the message using ArrayBuffer as: var buffer = new ArrayBuffer(10);var bytes = new Uint8Array(buffer);for (var i=0; i<bytes.length; i++) { bytes[i] = i;}websocket.send(buffer); A concrete implementation of receiving the binary message may look like: @WebSocketMessagepublic void echoBinary(ByteBuffer data, Session session) throws IOException {    System.out.println("echoBinary: " + data);    for (byte b : data.array()) {        System.out.print(b);    }    session.getRemote().sendBytes(data);} This method is just printing the binary data for verification but you may actually be storing it in a database or converting to an image or something more meaningful. Be aware of TYRUS-51 if you are trying to send binary data from server to client using method return type. Here are some references for you: JSR 356: Java API for WebSocket - Specification (Early Draft) and Implementation (already integrated in GlassFish 4 promoted builds) TOTD #183 - Getting Started with WebSocket in GlassFish TOTD #184 - Logging WebSocket Frames using Chrome Developer Tools, Net-internals and Wireshark Subsequent blogs will discuss the following topics (not necessary in that order) ... Error handling Custom payloads using encoder/decoder Interface-driven WebSocket endpoint Java client API Client and Server configuration Security Subprotocols Extensions Other topics from the API

  • ffmpeg - How to determine if -movflags faststart is enabled? PHP

    - by IIIOXIII
While I am able to encode an mp4 file which I can plan on my local windows machine, I am having trouble encoding files to mp4 which are readable when streaming by safari, etc. After a bit of reading, I believe my issue is that I must move the metadata from the end of the file to the beginning in order for the converted mp4 files to be streamable. To that end, I am trying to find out if the build of ffmpeg that I am currently using is able to use the -movflags faststart option through php - as my current outputted mp4 files are not working when streamed online. This is the way I am now echoing the -help, -formats, -codecs, but I am not seeing anything about -movflags faststart in any of the lists: exec($ffmpegPath." -help", $codecArr); for($ii=0;$ii<count($codecArr);$ii++){ echo $codecArr[$ii].'</br>'; } Is there a similar method of determining if -movflags fastart is available to my ffmpeg build? Any other way? Should it be listed with any of the previously suggested commands? -help/-formats? Can someone that knows it is enabled in their version of ffmpeg check to see if it is listed under -help or -formats, etc.? TIA. • C# DLL Deployed in COM+. Error while accessing the methods.

    - by Dakshinamurthy
I have the C# Dll (ABService) deployed in COM + and my os Is windows 2008. I have given the strong name for this dll and its dependent dll’s When I access the method of this dll through localhost or if I add the reference to the client project the method are executed successfully. Simply if I access the dll from the same machine with the reference it is working. So I think there is no problem with the way I deployed in the COM +. I have the doubt whether I have the problem in OS and Visual Studio 2008 combination. I have built all the dll with the Visual Studio 2008 with Target cpu as x86 and targert framework as 2.0. I have given in below the codes I have tried with and the errors. I need to create the object for the dll in server machine(64 bit) and access its method from the client(32 bit) Code : Type svr = Type.GetTypeFromProgID("ABService.Service", strserver1url[2],false); ABService.Service service1= (ABService.Service)Activator.CreateInstance(svr); strresult = service1.ExecuteService(orequest.xml); Error :{"Retrieving the COM class factory for remote component with CLSID {77BF00E0-41AC-3967-9E72-A4927CC0B880} from machine 10.105.138.64 failed due to the following error: 80040154."} Code Type svr = Type.GetTypeFromProgID("ABService.Service", strserver1url[2],true); object Service1 = null; Service1 = (ABService.Service)Activator.CreateInstance(svr, true); strresult = Convert.ToString(ReflectionHelper.Invoke(Service1, "ExecuteService", new object[] { orequest.xml })); Service1 = null; Error: Retrieving the COM class factory for remote component with CLSID {77BF00E0-41AC-3967-9E72-A4927CC0B880} from machine ftpsite failed due to the following error: 80040154. With the below code instead of C#.Net dll if i have the vb dll in Com + the method is executed successfully. Code ords = new RDS.DataSpace(); ords.InternetTimeout = 600000; object M_Service = null; ABService.Service oabservice = null; M_Service = ords.CreateObject("ABService.Service",url); strresult = Convert.ToString(ReflectionHelper.Invoke(M_Service, "ExecuteService", new object[] { orequest.xml })); Error : {"Object doesn't support this property or method 'ExecuteService'"} Code object obj=Interaction.CreateObject("ABService.Service", "10.105.138.64"); strresult = Convert.ToString(ReflectionHelper.Invoke(obj, "ExecuteService", new object[] { orequest.xml })); Error: {"Cannot create ActiveX component."} Code object obj = Activator.GetObject(typeof(ABService.Service), @"http://10.105.138.64:80/ABANET"); strresult = Convert.ToString(ReflectionHelper.Invoke(obj, "ExecuteService", new object[] { orequest.xml })); Error: InnerException {"The remote server returned an error: (405) Method Not Allowed."} System.Exception {System.Net.WebException} Message "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.”

  • Creating Binary Block from struct

    - by MOnsDaR
I hope the title is describing the problem, i'll change it if anyone has a better idea. I'm storing information in a struct like this: struct AnyStruct { AnyStruct : testInt(20), testDouble(100.01), testBool1(true), testBool2(false), testBool3(true), testChar('x') {} int testInt; double testDouble; bool testBool1; bool testBool2; bool testBool3; char testChar; std::vector<char> getBinaryBlock() { //how to build that? } } The struct should be sent via network in a binary byte-buffer with the following structure: Bit 00- 31: testInt Bit 32- 61: testDouble most significant portion Bit 62- 93: testDouble least significant portion Bit 94: testBool1 Bit 95: testBool2 Bit 96: testBool3 Bit 97-104: testChar According to this definition the resulting std::vector should have a size of 13 bytes (char == byte) My question now is how I can form such a packet out of the different datatypes I've got. I've already read through a lot of pages and found datatypes like std::bitset or boost::dynamic_bitset, but neither seems to solve my problem. I think it is easy to see, that the above code is just an example, the original standard is far more complex and contains more different datatypes. Solving the above example should solve my problems with the complex structures too i think. One last point: The problem should be solved just by using standard, portable language-features of C++ like STL or Boost (

i had a previously working configuration with the config files used in a previous question However, i've changed this now to the following configuration using server mode, everything on the logs seem fine, however the client doesn't create any tun interface, so i don't have anything to connect to, presumably, i need to add or push some route commands, but i don't have any idea at this point what i need to do. I am posting all my relevant configuration files server.conf: dev tun server 10.8.117.0 255.255.255.0 ifconfig-pool-persist ipp.txt tls-server dh /home/lurscher/keys/dh1024.pem ca /home/lurscher/keys/ca.crt cert /home/lurscher/keys/vpnCh8TestServer.crt key /home/lurscher/keys/vpnCh8TestServer.key status openvpn-status.log log openvpn.log comp-lzo verb 3 and client.conf: dev tun remote my.server.com tls-client ca /home/chuckq/keys/ca.crt cert /home/chuckq/keys/vpnCh8TestClient.crt key /home/chuckq/keys/vpnCh8TestClient.key ns-cert-type server ; port 1194 ; user nobody ; group nogroup status openvpn-status.log log openvpn.log comp-lzo verb 3 the server ifconfig shows a tun device: tun0 Link encap:UNSPEC HWaddr 00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00 inet addr:10.8.117.1 P-t-P:10.8.117.2 Mask:255.255.255.255 UP POINTOPOINT RUNNING NOARP MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:100 RX bytes:0 (0.0 B) TX bytes:0 (0.0 B) However the client ifconfig does not show any tun interface! $ ifconfig tun0 tun0 Link encap:UNSPEC HWaddr 00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00 POINTOPOINT NOARP MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:100 RX bytes:0 (0.0 B) TX bytes:0 (0.0 B) the client log says: Tue May 17 23:27:09 2011 OpenVPN 2.1.0 i686-pc-linux-gnu [SSL] [LZO2] [EPOLL] [PKCS11] [MH] [PF_INET6] [eurephia] built on Jul 12 2010 Tue May 17 23:27:09 2011 IMPORTANT: OpenVPN's default port number is now 1194, based on an official port number assignment by IANA. • Problem setting output flags for ALU in "Nand to Tetris" course

    - by MahlerFive
Although I tagged this homework, it is actually for a course which I am doing on my own for free. Anyway, the course is called "From Nand to Tetris" and I'm hoping someone here has seen or taken the course so I can get some help. I am at the stage where I am building the ALU with the supplied hdl language. My problem is that I can't get my chip to compile properly. I am getting errors when I try to set the output flags for the ALU. I believe the problem is that I can't subscript any intermediate variable, since when I just try setting the flags to true or false based on some random variable (say an input flag), I do not get the errors. I know the problem is not with the chips I am trying to use since I am using all builtin chips. Here is my ALU chip so far: /** * The ALU. Computes a pre-defined set of functions out = f(x,y) * where x and y are two 16-bit inputs. The function f is selected * by a set of 6 control bits denoted zx, nx, zy, ny, f, no. * The ALU operation can be described using the following pseudocode: * if zx=1 set x = 0 // 16-bit zero constant * if nx=1 set x = !x // Bit-wise negation * if zy=1 set y = 0 // 16-bit zero constant * if ny=1 set y = !y // Bit-wise negation * if f=1 set out = x + y // Integer 2's complement addition * else set out = x & y // Bit-wise And * if no=1 set out = !out // Bit-wise negation * * In addition to computing out, the ALU computes two 1-bit outputs: * if out=0 set zr = 1 else zr = 0 // 16-bit equality comparison * if out<0 set ng = 1 else ng = 0 // 2's complement comparison */ CHIP ALU { IN // 16-bit inputs: x[16], y[16], // Control bits: zx, // Zero the x input nx, // Negate the x input zy, // Zero the y input ny, // Negate the y input f, // Function code: 1 for add, 0 for and no; // Negate the out output OUT // 16-bit output out[16], // ALU output flags zr, // 1 if out=0, 0 otherwise ng; // 1 if out<0, 0 otherwise PARTS: // Zero the x input Mux16( a=x, b=false, sel=zx, out=x2 ); // Zero the y input Mux16( a=y, b=false, sel=zy, out=y2 ); // Negate the x input Not16( in=x, out=notx ); Mux16( a=x, b=notx, sel=nx, out=x3 ); // Negate the y input Not16( in=y, out=noty ); Mux16( a=y, b=noty, sel=ny, out=y3 ); // Perform f Add16( a=x3, b=y3, out=addout ); And16( a=x3, b=y3, out=andout ); Mux16( a=andout, b=addout, sel=f, out=preout ); // Negate the output Not16( in=preout, out=notpreout ); Mux16( a=preout, b=notpreout, sel=no, out=out ); // zr flag Or8way( in=out[0..7], out=zr1 ); // PROBLEM SHOWS UP HERE Or8way( in=out[8..15], out=zr2 ); Or( a=zr1, b=zr2, out=zr ); // ng flag Not( in=out[15], out=ng ); } So the problem shows up when I am trying to send a subscripted version of 'out' to the Or8Way chip. I've tried using a different variable than 'out', but with the same problem. Then I read that you are not able to subscript intermediate variables. I thought maybe if I sent the intermediate variable to some other chip, and that chip subscripted it, it would solve the problem, but it has the same error. Unfortunately I just can't think of a way to set the zr and ng flags without subscripting some intermediate variable, so I'm really stuck! Just so you know, if I replace the problematic lines with the following, it will compile (but not give the right results since I'm just using some random input): // zr flag Not( in=zx, out=zr ); // ng flag Not( in=zx, out=ng ); Anyone have any ideas? Edit: Here is the appendix of the book for the course which specifies how the hdl works. Specifically look at section 5 which talks about buses and says: "An internal pin (like v above) may not be subscripted". Edit: Here is the exact error I get: "Line 68, Can't connect gate's output pin to part". The error message is sort of confusing though, since that does not seem to be the actual problem. If I just replace "Or8way( in=out[0..7], out=zr1 );" with "Or8way( in=false, out=zr1 );" it will not generate this error, which is what lead me to look up in the appendix and find that the out variable, since it was derived as intermediate, could not be subscripted.

  • Install server 2012 on HP ML110 G7 with B110i controller, no disks found

    - by Molotch
I'm trying to install Server 2012 on a HP ML110 G7 with a B110i controller and four non hot-swappable SATA drives. I just can't get the Server 2012 boot disk PE environment to find any disks. I have downloaded the latest SPP (Service Pack for Proliant 2012.10) and flashed the BIOS. I have tried two different HP drivers for B110i and Windows X64, 6.18.0.64 and 6.18.2.64 to no avail. I have tried setting the controller to both AHCI and legacy mode in the BIOS, no difference. HP:s SmartStart disc for G7 servers only support installation of up to Windows Server 2008R2. HP:s installation instructions for Server 2012 Essentials says boot from the windows disk and use the storage drivers found on the SPP (I can't find any storage drivers on the SPP disk).

    - by michaelc
I had a Fedora box running using my static IP 69.169.136.6, etc, all configured according to what the ISP required. Just recently the hard drive failed (and I should have been keeping better backups) - while it is being recovered I would like to put up a webpage on my Archlinux PC explaining the problem - I presently do not have sufficient access to change the DNS record assigned to the domain. When I change my ip address while my system is running to 69.169.136.6, ifconfig reports the new ip address, but http://whatismyip.com/ does not. When I change it and reboot, I can't ping - the message I recieve is "connect: Network is unreachable" (when given one of google.com 's IP addresses - hostnames give me ping: unknown host xxx). Until I have access to the DNS system, what can I do to make this work? Edit: With new IP address, same problem, IP is now 69.169.136.29. Some commands might be useful: #ping 69.169.136.1 PING 69.169.136.1 (69.169.136.1) 56(84) bytes of data. 64 bytes from 69.169.136.1: icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=0.377 ms #ping 69.169.190.211 connect: Network is unreachable #ping 208.72.160.67 connect: Network is unreachable #ifconfig eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:E0:4D:97:23:9B inet addr:69.169.136.29 Bcast:69.169.137.255 Mask:255.255.254.0 inet6 addr: fe80::2e0:4dff:fe97:239b/64 Scope:Link UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:132091 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:17 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000 RX bytes:9635179 (9.1 Mb) TX bytes:1322 (1.2 Kb) Interrupt:29 Base address:0x6000 lo Link encap:Local Loopback inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0 inet6 addr: ::1/128 Scope:Host UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:16436 Metric:1 RX packets:48 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:48 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:0 RX bytes:2480 (2.4 Kb) TX bytes:2480 (2.4 Kb) #ip route 69.169.136.0/23 dev eth0 proto kernel scope link src 69.169.136.29 #cat /etc/resolv.conf # Generated by dhcpcd #nameserver 208.67.222.222 #nameserver 208.67.220.220 nameserver 69.169.190.211 nameserver 208.72.160.67 # /etc/resolv.conf.tail can replace this line Update: have new static IP addresses, verified to work in Windows... • Dell Studio 1558 Bluetooth driver problem

    - by user34257
I am using Dell Studio 1558 laptop. Originally it was having windows 7 64 bit Home edition but than i upgraded my system to Windows 7 32 bit Professinal edition. The problem i am facing due to this is that my system is not detecting bluetooth adapter. When i install 64 bit(windows 7)/32(windows vista) bit drivers for Bluetooth it detects the Adapter but only sometimes and much of the times it doesnt. I am not able to find drivers for Windows 7 32bit professional edition and thus not able to detect bluetooth adapter.

  • SQL Navigator startup error: Unhandled Exception at startup - Cannot find OCI DLL: oci.dll

    - by Imageree
I am using 64 bits Windows 7. Oracle Development Tool: SQL Navigator 5.5 was installed on my computer. When I try to start the program I get this error: "Unhandled Exception at startup - Cannot find OCI DLL: oci.dll" Then I get this error: "Access violation at address 0101916B in module 'SQLNav5.exe'. Read of address 00000000" and then the program is terminatied. Any ideas what is the problem? Update: I am trying to install Oracle client - sql navigator - not sure if the server is 64 bits or not.

  • Android SDK emulator freezes on a Mac running OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard

    - by Donald Burr
I'm having trouble running the Android SDK on both of my Macs running OS X 10.6.2 Snow Leopard. This appears to be a 64 bit vs. 32 bit issue, as Snow Leopard now defaults to 64-bit everything, including the Java virtual machine. I found this webpage with instructions on how to get the Android tools to run in the 32-bit Java VM, and I am now able to run the Android GUI tool to download SDK files, create AVM's, etc. However, when I try the Hello World tutorial and get to the point where I run my application under the Android emulator, everything goes south. The emulator appears to start but it hangs (spinning beachball of death cursor) without displaying anything. (This only hangs the emulator; the rest of the system still works fine.) If I follow the exact same steps (minus the 32-bit java hack) in a Windows virtual machine, everything works fine. Googling didn't yield anything useful (except for the 32-bit java hack I spoke of earlier). This occurs on both my Mac Pro tower and 13" MacBook Pro. Does anyone have any suggestions?

  • How to set up spf records to send mail from google hosted apps to gmail addresses

    - by Chris Adams
Hi there, I'm trying to work out why email I send from one domain I own is rejected by another that I own, and while I think it may be related to how I've setup spf records, I'm not sure what steps I need to take to fix it. Here's the error message I receive: Technical details of permanent failure: Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. I also have the catchall address set up on the stemcel.co.uk domain here, but I don't have one setup for chrisadams.me.uk. I'm not sure what I should be looking for here.

  • Fiddler not working in Windows 7 - LAN Settings locked?

    - by Glen Little
I've been using Fiddler for years, but now, on Windows 7 (64 bit) I cannot get it to monitor traffic from IE 8. With the Firefox add-on, it is able to monitor Firefox traffic with no problem. This is not related to monitoring HTTPS traffic, or traffic to localhost. I've tried running IE and/or Fiddler with "Run as Administrator", but no luck. The best clue to the problem that I have is that in IE8, the "Local Area Network (LAN) Settings" dialog accessed from "LAN Settings" in the Internet Options / Connections tab is all grayed out. I have two Windows 7, 64 bit computers, both on the same LAN. One works fine, the other has these settings grayed out, and a note on the Connections tab: "Some settings are managed by your system administrator". However, the system administrator has NOT set any. Any ideas?
