Stopping local drive mappings from transfering to a RDP session

We have a SQL server that locally has about 6 physical drives mapped. However let's say G: is a mount point to the SAN, if I connect with my local machine and have a personal folder mapped locally as g:\userdata that transfers to the remote desktop session on the server overwriting the value of the 'NAME' of the share. Here is the kicker, the G: on the server still has the right information but has the wrong label coming from the share on my PC. Does anyone know how to prevent this from happening? My tick box for local resources is unchecked in my Microsoft RDP client.

The variable 'textBox1' is either undeclared or was never assigned. This is obviously wrong as they are defined in MyControlBase with public access. Is there any way to massage Form Designer into allowing me to visually edit my control?

Does the advanced format tool bundled by manufacturers actually do anything which mkntfs doesn't?

I recently bought a new drive (specifically, a 2TB Samsung Spinpoint) that says on the label that it supports advanced format, and that I should download the tool from their site. Unless I'm missing something, mkntfs has always had its maximum sector size at 4096b: -s, --sector-size BYTES Specify the size of sectors in bytes. Valid sector size values are 256, 512, 1024, 2048 and 4096 bytes per sector. If omitted, mkntfs attempts to determine the sector-size automatically and if that fails a default of 512 bytes per sector is used. Will this tool on Samsung's site do anything other than format the drive in the same way doing mkntfs -s 4K /dev/sdb1 would do? To be specific, I'm intending to use this drive on a machine that will primarily run Windows XP, but I'd rather boot into Linux/BSD and format the disk manually than have bloated software. I do want to have the new AF style sectors though -- that's essential. So if I did the command above, would it have exactly the same effect as using the advanced format tool?

KVM Virtual guest Paused on Reboot

I'm running REHL 6 and just installed a Ubuntu Server Guest via KVM set to start at boot. This works correctly and the guest loads, but it loads "paused" and requires that I manually un-pause it. Can someone give me a hint as to how I can I get the Guest OS to actually become active on boot? How to select all labeled messages in Gmail inbox?

I have dozens of labels and sub-labels and dozens of filters. I use the 'skip inbox' on a lot of filters but have many more that I want to see in the inbox before I archive them. It's easy to shift-select a few dozen at a time to archive when they are NOT separated by non-labeled mail. What I want to do is to be able to select all mail that has any label in the inbox and archive it with one click so that nothing but unlabeled mail is left in the inbox. This doesn't seem to be any different than what the Select Starred search except I can't find a wildcard search operator for labels.

Disk names in Solaris 10 for ZFS: SAS WWN instead of c0t0d0

I currently have a server running Solaris 10u9 with a SAS enclosure (Dell PowerVault MD1000) filled with SATA disks attached to an SAS card (LSI 3801E). It happily recognizes the 15 disks in the MD1000 and presents them each disk in the traditional solaris form (c1t12d0, c1t13d0, c1t15d0, etc). My home ZFS setup (Nexenta CP3 + LSI 9200-16E + directly cabled SATA disks) presents disks as their SAS WWN ID (ex: c3t600039300001EA56d0). Although this ID is longer, I've found it much easier to troubleshoot because the cabling/slot is irrelevant, ZFS just identifies the disk by ID, if it's connected it finds it. Most manufacturers print the WWN right on the disk's top label, can't get much easier than that. So how can I get Solaris to identify disks by SAS WWN instead of by the cXtXdX?

Setting value for autocomplete search field linked to Google Places API

I have a web page where people will be able to enter multiple destinations. When they state they want to enter a new destination, the current field values are stored in arrays. If they choose to go back to a previous destination, the relevant values are reinserted into the form fields. I am using the search field linked to autocomplete as the visible display of the destination. When I attempt to put a value into the linked search field, the value is presented as if it is a placeholder instead of a value. Enter the field and the value is removed by the onFocus() event of the Google Places autocomplete add-in. Monorail - Form submission using GET instead of POST

Hello, I'm writing some additions to a Castle MonoRail based site involving an Add and an Edit form. The add form works fine and uses POST but the edit form uses GET. The only major difference I can see is that the edit method is called with the Id of the object being edited in the query string. When the submit button is pressed on the edit form, the only argument passed is this object Id again. How to set icon to title bar for each Activity in Tablelayout in android

In my tablayout example, i have created 3 tabs, as usually i set 3 activities for each tab. I can set image to title bar of activity, which adds the intent to each tab. Due to this, the image in the title bar is visible in all 3 tabs. My requirement is to set a different image to title bar for each activity. I followed this to set image to title bar. How to partition and format multiple disks using a batch script?

I am trying to format 'n' number of disks using a batch script. My script goes like this. diskpart /s "abc.txt" where abc.txt is: sel disk 1 create part primary format FS=NTFS label=label2 quick compress My Problem here is I want to 'loop' the commands in abc.txt for the number of disks that exists. But I cannot send an argument like %1 to abc.txt file as it is a .txt file. and my diskpart /s can only take a .txt file as an argument. how to overcome this... could anybody please help?

Hi, If I ask GMail to create a filter for a mailing list it creates a rule containing list:mailing-list-identifier, in the case of the NAnt mailing list it wrote: Has the words: list: "nant-users.lists.sourceforge.net" Is there a way to filter any mailing list? I would like to filter conversations from any mailing list containing answers to things I've previously asked (or answered to). Part of that filter is identifying "anything which is part of a mailing list" and I'm wondering if there is a better way than adding another label to all mailing list posts (which is cumbersome).

pass data from popup to parent

I have a parent w/ a popup child. When parent loads, I have to call a function within the popup without showing the popup (thus, I load "pupLove" but don't include it in layout)....I then pass this data to the parent. When the user manually clicks another button to open the popup, the same function is called & data passed to the parent. However, I am not able to pass dg.length to the parent. I believe the root problem is that I am loading "pupLove" & thus the parents are getting confused.....I'm guessing if I get rid of "pupLove" I can pass the data correctly but will need to call the child's function at creationComplete of the parent....how do I do that? I can't upload mp3 files using Codeigniter

There are lots of suggested fixes for this but none of them work for me. I have tried making the upload class (using the following methods: http://codeigniter.com/forums/viewthread/148605/ and http://codeigniter.com/forums/viewthread/125441/). When i try to upload an mp3 i get the error message "The filetype you are attempting to upload is not allowed". Below is my code for my model and my form (i've got a very skinny controller). Symmetrix gatekeepers on Solaris 10

I have some Solaris machines that are connected to EMC Symmetrix for SAN storage. Apparently the Symm has a gatekeeper device that is used with the symmetrix CLI. We don't need the CLI, but I have these gatekeeper devices that constantly fill /var/adm/messages and the like with corrupt label errors. Is there anything I can do (short of deleting the devices on machine start) to get rid of them? Or should I just try to get our SAN guy to get the installer for the CLI? These things are getting annoying, and the devfsadmd daemon keeps rediscovering them on boot.

QR vcard with a photo

I am about to get a ton of business cards printed from my new corporation, and I am allowed to have a QR code on it, and I would really like to be able to add a photo to be attached to the vcard. User Getting Logged Out After Making First Comment

Hello, I am using a login system that works well. I am also using a comment system. The comment function does not show up unless the user is logged in (as shown in commentformonoff.php below). When a user makes a comment, the info is passed from the function "show_commentbox" to the file comments2a.php. Then, the info is passed to the file comments2.php. When the site is first pulled up on a browser, after logging in and making a comment, the user is logged out. After logging in a second time during the same browser session, the user is no longer logged out after making a comment. How can I keep the user logged in after making the first comment? Ubuntu - How to automount an external drive at a preconfigured mount point?

Normally, when I attach an external USB drive to my Ubuntu system, the filesystem on it are automounted to /media/label. However, I'd like the filesystem to be mounted at a mount point of my choosing. I've added a line like this to my /etc/fstab: UUID=2BE905C238C1F724 /p ntfs-3g defaults 0 0 # Passport 320GB This allows me to manually mount the volume at /p by running sudo mount /p, however the filesystem is no longer automounted when the drive is attached to the PC. What do I need to do to get automount to this mount point to work, if at all possible?
