  • Disabled javascript for printing?

    This may seem a strange question, but is it possible to disable javascript for the printed version of a webpage? The reason being, it causes the printout's layout to all be on top of each other. But if I turn off javascript it works fine. Any ideas?

  • Joomla Mailto Component unable to send mails occassionally

    Greetings, I will certainly hope someone will be able to provide some enlightenment to my problem. Currently, I have 2 joomla sites, layout and menus are a replicate of the other. I noticed that on both Joomla, I will occasionally encounter "Unable to send mail" after a form submission. Is this the fault of my server, or the fault of Joomla's PHP Mailer ? I will certainly love to approach my hosting company for a solution but I do not want to place a false accusation on them.

  • Why should I use display:table instead of table

    What's the benefits of structuring my site with divs and apply the display:table property ( display:tr, display:tr). Doesn't this mean that the divs will behave exactly like tr and td elements? I know I probably shouldn’t use tables or table behavior for layout at all but I'm just curious if there's a difference and a benefit?

  • magento show categories on left sidebar on a page

    I cant manage to show on a page, on the left side the categories. I selected for the page under Design - layout to 3 columns, Right side shows fine but nothing on left side. New to magento so i`m not sure in wich file in the template i have to look for. Its a custom template installed so i got so far to: app/design/frontend/default/f001/template/ but not sure now if to look under catalog or paeg folders

    I have a simple webpage which generates a random quote from my database upon refreshing the page. I wish to implement some AJAX and JQuery in order to generate quotes via the button rather than having to refresh the page. I have done some research but I am not sure how to implement this in Codeigniter. My current code is below...   • With custom binding for Masonry how would I resize the container appropriately

    Based on the suggestion give here, and the information given here on how to make a custom bindingHandler for a forEach, I decided to attempt to write my own custom binding for a forEach and Masonry. Because the elements are added on the fly the redrawing and moving around of elements to fill the space doesn't occur. So, this functionality needed to be moved after the elements have been rendered or called after each item has been added.   • How to store byte[] from Android Camera onPictureTaken method within application for later use

    I am writing a larger Android application and I use the camera within the app. All I want to do with the camera is have the user take a picture, then start a new activity to show that image and allow the user to decide if they want to keep the image or not. I am having the hardest time figuring out how to simply store the byte[] data from the onPictureTaken method so that I can display it to the user in the next activity. I have tried many different routes and none of them have worked. The last thing I tried was creating a globalsettings class that extends the Application class and creating a byte[] field within it to store the byte[] from the camera so that I could use it within another activity, but my global variable is still not getting set.     Simple but little tricky, if I have list.setAdapter(new ArrayAdapter<String>(this,R.layout.double_row, R.id.doubleRow, articleItemsHelper)); it works if articleItemsHelper is String, but I wanna have HTML formatting in there so when articleItemsHelper is type Spanned this (adapter) doesn't work. ArrayList<Spanned> articleItemsHelper = new ArrayList<Spanned>(); What's the solution?

So what i want to do is, sometimes i want to start activity as Theme Dialog and some times using setContentView. I can't use <activity android:theme="@android:style/Theme.Dialog"> in manifest file as it will always display activity as dialog.     I have a LinearLayout with fixed view. I dynamically inject images in it (ImageViews) but I dunno in advance how many of them will be inserted.
