  • Timestamp problem showing 1970 instead of 1988

    - by gmuhammad
Hi, I am trying to set default value in DateField using the following statement DateField dateField = new DateField("Birthday:", 567993600, DateField.DATE | DateField.FIELD_LEFT); but when I run my application it shows me 7 Jan 1970 instead of 1 Jan 1988. I checked the time stamp on http://www.onlineconversion.com/unix_time.htm and it shows me correct expected date which is, "Fri, 01 Jan 1988 00:00:00 GMT" I am using 8900 simulator and my date time is correct showing today's date 31 Dec 2010 in date time under options folder. Regards, -gmuhammad

  • How do I check for a css value using jQuery?

    - by zeckdude
After the user clicks on a table row, I want it to check if the table row's background-color is white, and if so, it will change the color to light blue. The code I am using is not working. Here it is: $("#tracker_table tr#master").click(function(){ if($(this).css("background-color") == "#FFFFFF") { $(this).css("background-color", "#C2DAEF"); } }); I think there is something wrong with my if statement. How do I check for a css value using jQuery?

  • Help! I got a runaway PHP script. My server is down.

    - by gAMBOOKa
I got a PHP script that is looping and will continue to do so for about another hour. How do I stop it. The script explicitly overrides the time out and the memory buffer. It's on a shared hosting server with cPanel installed. The entire website is down until the script completes. I had added a usleep(100000) statement, but it doesn't appear to work.

  • Can I execute SQL statements directly in a JDO environment?

    - by Carl Rosenberger
I am using Datanucleus JDO on top of HSqlDb. I would like to execute the following SQL statement to tell HsqlDb to set the write delay to 0: "SET WRITE_DELAY 0" Is there a way I can do this from a JDO PersistenceManager or a PersistenceManagerFactory? On a sidenote: I have tried to modify write_delay by using the following connection URL: jdbc:hsqldb:file:data/hsqldb/dbbench;write_delay=false It didn't work. I debugged the HsqlDb sources and I could still see the write delay being set to 10 seconds.

  • What is the smallest, legal zip/jar file?

    - by vkraemer
I hate generating an exception for things that I can simply test with an if statement. I know that a zero length zip/jar will trigger an exception if you try to access it using the java.util.zip/java.util.jar APIs. So, it seems like there should be a smallest file that these utility APIs are capable of working with.

  • Using of ApplicationSettings in markup code

    - by Dirk
I want to use ApplicationSettings in the markup code of an ASP.NET Web Application. Inspired by code behind this was my first try: <%= My.Settings.MyApplicationSetting %> No success. I ended up with this lengthy statement <%= Global.MyRootNameSpace.My.MySettings.Default.MyApplicationSetting %> I can’t believe that this is the best solution. Isn’t it?

  • Disable autocomplete on textfield in Django?

    - by tau-neutrino
Does anyone know how you can turn off autocompletion on a textfield in Django? For example, a form that I generate from my model has an input field for a credit card number. It is bad practice to leave autocompletion on. When making the form by hand, I'd add a autocomplete="off" statement, but how do you do it in Django and still retain the form validation?

  • What is "branch-on-sign expressions"?

    - by Pavel Shved
As far as I understand the "branch-on-sign" is the name of some kind of if statement that does something depending on sign. I'm not sure that it's just if (x<0) then ... else .... However, the name "branch-on-sign" seems to denote something very concrete. So, what is it? Perhaps, it's language-specific, but I don't really know. Probably, it's related to embedded development.
