    Can someone pls tell me do we have solic & unsolic message/events in MFC or window programming? In devices solic response and unsolic response is said as immediate response (like acknowledgement to commands) and late response (generated without any further commands being sent) respectively. Likewise can we say events as solic / unsolic based on immediate occurrence and late occurrence?

    The docs say: you should implement methods of the form validate:error:, as defined by the NSKeyValueCoding protocol so lets say I have an attribute which is an int: friendAge I want to make sure that any friend may not be younger than 30. So how would I make that validation method? -validateFriendAge:error: What am I gonna do in there, exactly? And what shall I do with that NSError I get passed? I think it has an dictionary where I can return a humanly readable string in an arbitrary language (i.e. the one that's used currently), so I can output a reasonable error like: "Friend is not old enough"... how to do that?

  • Can you call FB.login inside a callback from other FB methods (like FB.getLoginStatus) without triggering popup blockers?

    I'm trying to set up a pretty basic authentication logic flow with the FB JavaScript SDK to check a user's logged-in status and permissions before performing an action (and prompting the user to login with permissions if they are not)... User types a message into a textarea on my site to post to their Facebook feed and click's a 'post to facebook' button on my site. In response to the click, I check user's logged in status with FB.getLoginStatus In the callback to FB.getLoginStatus, if user is not logged in, prompt them to login (FB.login). In the callback to FB.login I then need to make sure they have the right permissions so I make a call to FB.api('/me/permissions') -- if they don't , I again prompt them to login (FB.login) The problem I'm running into is that anytime I try to call FB.login inside a callback to other FB methods, the browser seems to lose track of the origin of execution (the click) and thus will block the popup. I'm wondering if I'm missing some way to prompt the user to login after checking their status without the browser mistakenly thinking that it's not a user-initiated popup? I've currently fallen back to just calling FB.login() first regardless. The undesired side effect of this approach, however, is that if the user is already logged-in with permissions and I'm still calling FB.login, the auth popup will open and close immediately before continuing, which looks rather buggy despite being functional. It seems like checking a user's login status and permissions before doing something would be a common flow so I feel like I'm missing something.     Background: I'm trying to come up with a regex for a rewrite rule that will take anything that does not start with a particular prefix, and add that prefix to it. But urls that already have the prefix should be rejected by the regular expression (because they already have the url). Example: If the prefix is s1 a string like home will capture the home part. But a string like s1/home, will not capture anything. This way I can add the capture group onto the prefix, so that 'home' will become 's1/home'. I've tried (^s1/), but I'm missing something here, because that rejected 'home' for some reason.

The method used in reading this value is Reflection. pinfo: Property Info got via Type.GetProperties(); componentSettings.Add(pinfo.Name, pinfo.GetValue((object)this, null).ToString()); The information after serialization is: <Parameters>MS.STBIntl.Pippin.Framework.ComponentArgs</Parameters> instead of the value of ComponentArgs.WorkingPath.     Well I have this - Table DimDate- Date Table Employee- Id,Name,Points,Date Now the Employee table has points for everyday unless they did not come...so the Date does not have all the Dates entries... I mean for e.g in a week he did not come for 2 days the Employee table has only 5 rows...so I have this dimdate table which has all the dates till 2050 which I want to join with and add Zeros for the dates he does not have points.
