    Hi, I have to create few forms and give it as direct EXE (instead of installer, which installs .NET framework, which the end user is not happy, they want something they can directly open and work).   • How to supress Powershell window when using the -File option

    I'm calling Powershell like so: C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\powershell.exe -noprofile -noninteractive -nologo -file "C:\Users\dummy\Documents\dev\powershell\samples\test.ps1" I'm calling it from a python script, but the same problem can be observed if called via a shortcut. I thought the -NonInteractive flag would cause Poweshell to execute in a hidden window, but it doesn't. Is there a way of supressing the console window when calling Powershell from an external application?     hi to all , In a Portable-Executable ,we can change the imported dll name ,by editing PE file , here , i had changed in one imported dll name of application exe,that time it changed normally ....e.g advapi32.dll to ^dvapi32.dll ,so here system32 or any other PATH location doesnt have ^dvapi32.dll ..this time simply i changed the real advapi32.dll into ^dvapi32.dll and put in the application directory ,this time its work fine ....but when i am trying with ntdll & gdi32.dll ,it doesnt supported ,i cant resolve the problem ,pls help me towards the problem ..thanks.

    I am importing SSIS packages to SQL Server 2008 that were originally built for SQL Server 2005. I upgraded them in VS2008 and them imported them. They all import and work except for the one with the Konesans File system Watcher task. I installed in the setup exe for Konesans File system Watcher SQL Server 2008 on my dev pc and the production server, but still get this error: Exception from HRESULT: 0xC0010026 (Microsoft.SqlServer.DTSRuntimeWrap) Any advice?

    Does anyone know what graphics library is used to create the graphics in the Solitaire and Freecell games included with Windows Vista (e.g. XNA, GDI, WPF)? A good answer would include the name of the library and evidence. I looked at solitaire.exe with dependency walker and it shows many calls to gdi32.dll and gdiplus.dll, but also a call to Direct3DCreate9 in d3d9.dll.

  • How to generate a certificate request with SubjectAltNames on IIS 6.0 ?

    I'm looking for a way to add a Subject Alternative Name in my certificate request in the IIS 6.0 certificate creation wizard. It seems I can only fill the Subject field and not the Subject Alternative Name. Trying to follow this guide (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/931351) using certreq.exe doesn't help, it fails without any hint except that it prints its manual. Any suggestions appreciated, I hope I won't have to export my public key and generate the csr with openssl :/

    Hi On my WSS server I have run the following stsadm command to filter the people picker results: stsadm.exe -o setproperty -url http://myserver -pn "peoplepicker-searchadcu stomfilter" -pv "(memberOf=CN=SharePoint,OU=AccessGroups,DC=contosio,DC=local)" My WSS sites are all used by different groups of users. Whenever I create a new site collection in WSS I want to ensure that I can filter the people picker to only show he relevant users for that group - can I automate this or would I have to manually do something like the above stsadm command?     Hi all, I have been given a wsdl and have used wsdl.exe to create my proxy classes. I am able to call the function to initiate the request with some valid parameters and this returns my response object which is always EMPTY. When i inspect the soap message response using fiddler the soap does have valid data that should be deserialzed to the proxy classes. Can i manually intercept the derserializing call of the proxy classes generated by wsdl and check that .net is correctly derializing the soap response? Thank you
