  What i am trying to do is a simple recommender , must take the biggest weighted top 40 element's node2 element. Calculation for weight comes from (E.WEIGHT * K.GRADE). Now this code succesfully returns top 40 elements. However, i don't want E.NODE2 to return duplicates. POSTGRE SQL allowed me to do SELECT DISTINCT ON (NODE2) E.NODE2 , (E.WEIGHT * K.GRADE). How can i do the same in oracle?   i have a script, to open a model window, but it wont work. google chrome give me "Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token }", but on a line that doesnt even have a closing curly brace. here is my script: function showm(id1){ window.onscroll=function(){document.getElementById(id1).style.top=document.body.scrollTop;}; document.getElementById(id1).style.display="block"; document.getElementById(id1).style.top=document.body.scrollTop; } does anybody have any ideas on this? any help is appreciated.

• Hard drive randomly sppeeding up

  Having a weird issue with my hard drive. Running Windows 7 with an I5 processor. At random times the hard drive will start running at top speed and gradually return to normal over the next two minutes or so. Going to Resource Monitor it shows a variety of things with high read or write numbers. Log files NTFS volume log, Windows prefetch, System/user/appdata, and Program data Norton are the usual top ones listed. This just started about three months ago although the computer is about 3 years old. Have run in safe mode with internet over the weekend going to all of my usual sites with no such speed up. Question 1 - what can be causing this? Question 2 - how can I find out where data is being sent(especially if over the net)? Thank you.

  I am pretty new to rails and basically I want to make a user registration form. I am currently using rails 3.2.3 Basically I want to make basic routes like user/register on top of basic REST route for user.   My search server 2008 express crawls 3 sharepoint servers and 1 windows file server. The file server and 2 other sharepoint server crawl all content and master and sub sites just fine. On the 3rd sharepoint server the default site crawl just fine...The second web application site (content database) crawls the top site and crawls all sub sites BUT The subsites get the below error in the crawl log. Deleted by the gatherer (The start address or content source that contained this item was deleted and hence this item was deleted.) I have checked the security rights (OK) I have checked the setting to crawl a SharePoint site (if wrong the top site would not work)... ???? Last part = I can crawl 3 other sharepoint sites (web applications/other content databases) on the same server...It seems to be just this one site...

  I am working on unix. I want to knwo the current cpu usage of a process. I understood that ps give the average of cpu used till the process is up - it is not the current usage. Is there a way to print only the cpu from the top command without 10 more parameters and headers? I know how to do it with awk - this is not the way i want to do it. top -p 20705 -bc -n 1 | tail -n 2 | awk '{ print $9}' | head -n 1 If there is another simple way to do it, not reading /proc/stat... If there is a simple way doing it from c++, it is also ok.

• jQuery - How do I make the menu fadeout when the user clicks anywhere else in the document besides the menu itself?

  Hi, I have a link that functions similar to a drop down menu in that it fades in a list of links below it when clicked. Currently, the list fades back out when the link is clicked again, but I'd like for it to also fade out if the user clicks elsewhere on the page. I'm not sure how to add the $(document).click(function()... that handles this, or if this is even the right approach. • Selecting previous and next row using sp

  I want to select previous and next row from table based on current id. I send current id to stored procedure and use this query: -- previous select top 1 id from table where id < @currentId order by id desc -- next select top 1 id from table where id < @currentId order by id asc The problem is when I send currentId which is the last id in the table and want to select next row. Then is nothing selected. Same problem for previous row, when I send currentId which is first id in table Is it possible to solve this in sql without additional queries?

• Position DIV relative to containing DIV Without Moving Other Stuff

  [I'm not sure if this question has been asked, though I've looked around a bit.] I have a DIV inside a DIV. I would like the inner DIV to have a certain position inside the outer div. I'm having some success with this position: absolute; top: 0px;right:0px; but all other divs are getting moved around. I just want it to float on top of the other stuff (float didn't work, of course). Thanks! Edit: The outer div is relative, and I'd like the inner to move with it when the browser is resized. Edit: Sorry, I've figured out the question (but not the answer): if I use right:0px, the inner div stops moving relative to the outer div and starts moving relative to the browser window. Why would that be?

  Hello! I'm using a helper for static pages to add a part to the title on every page. Currently I have the following code at the top of every static page: <?php $this->set('title_for_layout', $title->output('Nyheter')); ?> The purpose of $title-output is to append " :: MY WEB SITE NAME". This works fine, but for simplicity I would rather just call: $title->title('Nyheter'); At the top of every page to set the title. The problem is that I can't call $this-set() from within the helper. Is there a way to something like this or am I completely on the wrong path here?

• Is it a problem if i query again and again to SQL Server 2005 and 2000?

  Window app i am constructing is for very low end machines (Celeron with max 128 RAM). From the following two approaches which one is the best (I don't want that application becomes memory hog for low end machines):- Approach One:- Query the database Select GUID from Table1 where DateTime <= @givendate which is returning me more than 300 thousands records (but only one field i.e. GUID - 300 thousands GUIDs). Now running a loop to achieve next process of this software based on GUID. Second Approach:- Query the database Select Top 1 GUID from Table1 where DateTime <= @givendate with top 1 again and again until all 300 thousands records done. It will return me only one GUID at a time, and I can do my next step of operation. What do you suggest which approach will use the less Memory Resources?? (Speed / performance is not the issue here).

If you delete a line z-index:0, in css class test1, the ie will perform correctly. In my project , the z-index must be set greater than zero, so I couldn't delete the line. • viewForHeaderInSection - create header that would display properly in all cases

  I have an interesting problem/question and i'm not sure if it is even doable. So I have a custom header view for regular UITableView. But it's transparent and it doesn't fill fill table width. So it displayed properly when table is scrolled and this header view is displayed above cell content (sticked to the top). But when same header is displayed between two sections down - it looks ugly, because it's transparent and it's either displayed above black rectangle or above table background. I was wondering is there way to customize header view for when it's stick to the top and when it's not. Or... may be it's possible to specify what needs to be displayed underneath header view when it's between sections. Something like sectionSeparatorView?

  I have a UITabbarController that I'm pushing another controller on top of using a UINavigationController. On iOS 6 and below, the tabBar of the parent controller slides away and the toolbar of the new view controller is presented. But on iOS 7 the tabBar doesn't animate away even if I run the code [self.navigationController setToolbarHidden:YES animated:NO]; EDIT - Okay I narrowed my problem to iOS 7 not respecting the hidesBottomBarWhenPushed property, I followed the answers in hidesBottomBarWhenPushed ignored in iOS 7 but it didn't work. The view that is pushed has a toolbar with buttons and the buttons are responding to touches, it's just that the tabBar is on top of the toolbar.

• Using TweenMax to fade in div with background pattern and z-index not working

  I'm trying to do this really simple fade using TweenMax for this div I have. Here's the css for the div .aboutBg { background:url(../images/pattern.jpg); top:0; right:0; left:0; bottom:0, position:fixed; border:10px solid red; z-index:10; } TweenMax.to('.aboutPage', 0.5, {autoAlpha:1}); What's happening is the border would fade in nicely but the patterned bg is not, it just pops up at the end of the tween. If I remove the z-index everything works, but I have to have set the z-index so it's on top of my other content. Also I'm not tweening the z-index, it's set before the tween, so I'm not sure why it's not fading correctly. Anyone has any idea? Thanks.

I'm using the Google Collections Library which provides immutable versions of Map, List, and Set. My application model looks like a tree: Scene is a top-level object that contains a reference to a root Node. Each Node can contain child Nodes and Ports. An object graph might look like this: Scene | +-- Node | +-- Node | +- Port +-- Node | +- Port +- Port If all of these objects are immutable, controlled by a top-level SceneController object: What is the best way to construct this hierarchy? How would I replace an object that is arbitrarily deep in the object tree? Is there a way to support back-links, e.g. a Node having a "parent" attribute?
