    Hello All, I am using Windows Imaging Component to read/write image metadata in my WPF application. I would like to know if there is an efficient way to know if any paths exist within a namespace. For instance I would like to know if any paths within IPTC namespace exist and if not I want to delete the namespace from the image header. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.   • How to assign Application Icon that will display in Task bar?

    I am working on a Wpf desktop application, whenever i run my application it shows me a window and associated tab in the task bar(Normal windows feature). My problem is that the tab is using window's icon for unknown file-type, I tried with Icon property of Window, Icon gets assigned but still problem is when I run application, task bar Tab initially displays window's icon for unknown file-type and when window-load completes it changes to the Icon assigned. I want Icon there from beginning. Any help?

    WPF code behind is not displayed in the Visual Studio project view, yet is compiled with the project and is available in IntelliSense. This code behind file (Window1.g.i.cs, for example), is generated by a custom tool. I would like the files generated by my custom tool to be hidden as well, but I cannot find any documentation on how this is done. How can I do this?

  • Mouse left button up event and openfiledialog

    I have few images in a grid, then when i click a button, a "open file dialog" comes up.(of course, over the images) Microsoft.Win32.OpenFileDialog dlgOpenFiles = new Microsoft.Win32.OpenFileDialog(); dlgOpenFile.DoModal(); The images have a LeftButtonUp event attached. The problem is that if i select a file by double clicking it, the open file dialog closes(which is good), but besides that, the image behind the clicked file is receiving a LeftButtonUp message which is not good at all. I am using wpf/c#/vs2010

    I have a problem using a Resources.resx - Resources.de.resx - combination in a C#/WPF project. The whole solutions contains several projects and some projects contains resource files. When starting the main project I can switch the language successfully from english to german. But the GUI elements from the sub projects still show the english text. I want to make the code robust to use with multiple monitors who's number and relative location can change (I want to avoid opening my application off-screen when the monitor configuration has changed inbetween invocations). I know of the Screen class in System.Windows.Forms, but I don't want to take a dependency on that assembly just for this feature.

    A little context There is a wpf based application which i left opened for 2-3 days without performing any activity throws out of memory exception , this is very Weird situation and does not happen all of the time.   • Need to tab out of ActiveX control in browser

    When tabbing through controls in an ActiveX control hosted in IE, once I get to the last control the tab key no longer does anything. I would like it to move the focus outside the ActiveX control to the next html control. This works fine when the ActiveX control is hosted in a WinForms app, does anybody know how to make this work in the browser? It may also be relevant that the ActiveX control is a simple wrapper around a WPF control.

    I am working with WPF TreeView control. I am creating a hierarchical data structure and assigning it to ItemsSource and it will generate TreeviewItems automatically. By default I use IsExpanded of TreeViewItem to true. But in a particular case, I want to set IsExpanded property to false. So that treeview loading doesn't take time to generate all items. How can I set that in code since I don't have reference to TreeViewItem's instance at that time?

What is is the alternate api which I can use?
