  • Change the language of fields in Microsoft Word

    Hi, I am using Word 2010 and some built-in features with fields, such as bibliography. My Word installation is English and I am writing a report in US English. However, my computer has its locale set to Denmark. This affects the formatting of dates and some of the text in the auto-generated fields (e.g. in bibliography it says "citeret:" instead of "cited:"). How can I change the language of the fields to US English? Thanks, Martin

  • Multiline code in Word 2007

    I am using word 2007 and am inserting code into the document. I have a style with a fixed-width font and light grey background and all, and I use Notepad++ for syntax highlighting. My problem is with a "line" of code that is too long to display, so is there a way to auto-insert an arrow symbol at the beginning of a such lines to indicate that it is the same line (kind of like hyphenating, except on long lines instead of long words) So for e.g. something like this: public static void foo(String abcdefg, Boolean 123, ?String xyz)

  • Aliased network interfaces and isc dhcp server

    I have been banging my head on this for a long time now. There are many discussions on the net about this and similar problems, but none of the solutions seems to work for me. I have a Debian server with two ethernet network interfaces. One of them is connected to internet, while the other is connected to my LAN. The LAN network is 10.11.100.0 (netmask 255.255.255.0). We have some custom hardware that use network 10.4.1.0 (netmask 255.255.255.0) and we can't change that. But we need all hosts on 10.11.100.0 to be able to connect to devices on 10.4.1.0. So I added an alias for the LAN network interface so that the Debian server acts as a gateway between 10.11.100.0 and 10.4.1.0. But then the dhcp server stopped working. The log says: No subnet declaration for eth1:0 (no IPv4 addresses). ** Ignoring requests on eth1:0. If this is not what you want, please write a subnet declaration in your dhcpd.conf file for the network segment to which interface eth1:1 is attached. ** No subnet declaration for eth1:1 (no IPv4 addresses). ** Ignoring requests on eth1:1. If this is not what you want, please write a subnet declaration in your dhcpd.conf file for the network segment to which interface eth1:1 is attached. ** I had another server before, also running Debian but with the older dhcp3 server, and it worked without any problems. I've tried everything I can think of in dhcpd.conf etc, and I've also compared with the working configuration in the old server. The dhcp server need only handle devices on 10.11.100.0. Any hints?   • My pivot chart has the wrong Y axis values but correct data point values

    I created a pivot chart based on some raw data for the x axis (dates) and 4 calculated fields for the Y values. The values on resulting lines are correct (see the data label at the end of the line) but the Y axis is off by about 100, but not off by any consistent amount. I have played with auto axis on and off, turn log scale on and off. All to no avail. Does anybody have any thoughts? Image link

  • Get sublime text 2 (sublimecodeintel) to parse mason

    So Sublime Text 2 seems to getting a lot of love lately. I am using the Sublime Code intel plugin, https://github.com/Kronuz/SublimeCodeIntel for auto completion. The problem is, it does not recognize .mi files as MASON files. I looked into the lexer and it does have the keywords in place. How do I force it to be parsed as MASON? Running "Set Syntax: " on ctrl+shift+p, does not show a MASON option.

    Possible Duplicate: Auto-tagging MP3s I'm currently using musicbranz picard to tag files that don't have any usable tagging information. For some reason, currently none of the files I trying to ID seem to be identified, despite some of them them being artists who are almost certainly on musicbrainz. So, I'm looking for something that uses an alternate database and does the same thing - to identify unknown music files off an audio fingerprint. Windows is preferred, but I would be fine with any of the big 3 OSes (Windows/Linux/OS X).

  • Keep remoting into wrong account. Windows 7

    I have a home theatre PC running with two users accounts on windows 7. The default account logs into locally. The account 'Paul' is present but is denied local log in so the default auto logs in locally. I am trying to remote into account Paul using RDC however it tries to log into the default account and I am presented with an an option to boot the present user off so I can log in. How do I specify which account I want to log into?

    I recently used Raw Copy to make an image of my 300gb Raptor Hd to a OCZ Vertex SSD 60GB. And When I pluged in the SSD to boot I get a Grub Error 18. I have tried to changed in the BIOS setting to LBA, Large, Auto, trying different combination's. Any advice. thanks, Clint

    I need to set the following formula on many cells: =VLOOKUP(MAX(Historical!$A$5:$FZ$99999),Historical!$A$5:$FZ$99999,7,1) This formula looks up the most recent date in the History table, and returns the value specified. Here I'm returning column 7. How can I paste the cells and auto increment the value where "7" is. In other words I need to paste that summary formula on several hundred cells and change the number 7 for each.

    Is there an option or tool that will allow me to change the default naming convention for files copied into the same directory in Windows (XP) and above. e.g. from: Copy of {name}.{ext} to: {name}.{ext}.copy Currently: original_file.php Copy of original_file.php Desired: original_file.php original_file.php.copy This would make finding/working with duplicated files much easier (they auto-sort together) and the filetype (by extension) changes thus it can't accidentally "break" something (e.g. if it were a *.java file, upon compiling I would get errors)

    How do I get Excel to partially auto-complete a word using another that already exist in the same worksheet? Let's say I have the word "Microsoft" in a cell and in the cell below I want to type the word "Microhard". When I start typing Microhard, the word Microsoft appears shaded in black. How can I select the "Micro" part alone from Microsoft and continue to fill out the rest with "hard" without it trying to fill out as Microsoft?

    Hello, i set up a dedicaced server with a tutorial. I set in PHP : mbstring.language=UTF-8 mbstring.internal_encoding=UTF-8 mbstring.http_input=UTF-8 mbstring.http_output=UTF-8 mbstring.detect_order=auto But each time there is a $ in the password (i have one for the root of mysql + other script) the password won't work. For example, I just removed the $ in the password for a script, and it worked. When i connect @root on mysql via phpmyadmin : don't work When i connect @root via PHP : works What can i do for this problem please ?

  • Can't get my Raspberry Pi to keep a static IP

    I recently got given a Raspberry Pi and I would like to be able to remote into it using puTTy from my laptop so I don't have to sit next to my tv with a keyboard and mouse to use it. I am able to get a puTTy session going when I know the IP address that my router has given the Pi on each session but it keeps changing on each reboot as I would expect. So I followed a number if instruction to go about configuring the RPi to keep a static IP address. This involved changing the file at '/etc/netwrok/interfaces' which now contains (password removed): auto lo iface lo inet loopback iface eth0 inet static address 192.168.1.82 netmask 255.255.255.0 gateway 192.168.1.254 auto wlan0 allow-hotplug wlan0 iface wlan0 inet dhcp wpa-ssid "BeBoxD304BF" wpa-psk "**********" Despite this however, each time I reboot my RPi it gives me a new dynamic IP address still.
