• Jquery Resizable Image size issue

  Image size is not automatically detected when using jquery resizable. Both Firefox and IE displays the image much smaller, and chrome show nothing at all. I can't seem to find a direct answer to this issue. • Custompage Module-Issue with CSS (Drupal-6.x)

  I'm new to Drupal and have recently installed the custompage module. I received a lot of errors until I placed "custom.tpl.php" in the custompage module folder. I am able to navigate to the custom page from the primary links. But, the CSS I created for that specific page is not showing up. I'm thinking it's because "custom.tpl.php" is located in the module folder of Drupal Core and my CSS is in the theme folder. But I'm not sure how to fix the problem. I tried to copy the "custom.tpl.php" in my themes folder, but then I receive a lot of errors. Any help would be appreciated.

• In WPF XAML how can I concatenate 2 constants so I can use pre-define paths?

I want to replace the path part of the source path with a c# constant for easier path management, for example I have: <Image Source="/Images/Themes/Buttons/MyPicture.png" /> and in another class I have my constant defined: public static readonly string UriImagesButtons = "/Images/Big/PNG/"; I want to have something along the lines of: <Image Source="{static:UriImagesButtons + MyPicture.png}" /> This means that I can change the path globally at a stroke if the need arises. What's the syntax to do this?

• Looking for a specific kind of WEB framework, no malarkey please

  We do maintenence on a number of systems. I'm finally in a place where I'm teh fucking boss for once, and have to design a large system that will have a long maintenance contract. There's a couple of tasks I find myself always repeating: 1) similar tasks for users with JS and those without 2) similar things for contents and rss/atom feeds, etc. To combat these I will need appropriate handling of assets (think JS files, CSS, themes/templates, etc.), excellent auth/user systems, javascript/ajax forethought, appropriate model setups. Codeigniter fails on many of these. Basically, with enough time I could build this system with Zend, but I'm curious what else is out there as Zend is also kind of a heavy-weight. We need something that is Rapid but maintainable, CodeIgniter is not maintainable. We will have a lot of AJAX APIs in place for the design team to play with. At first I thought jQuery was cool, but now I'm looking at Dojo.

• CSS bug in text input field - MSIE7

  I have an input text in a form that has a problem in MSIE7. When the text field is filled and I continue typing, the background starts scrolling left along with the text. This is the form when the text field is filled http://img155.imageshack.us/i/screen2rl.jpg/ The background image, a white rectangle with rounded corners, scrolls left with the text, leaving the black background. This is the CSS for this text field: border: none; background: url('/wp-content/themes/pokerbuddy/images/field.png') top left no-repeat; width: 100px; height: 20px; padding: 0px; font-size: 80%; color: #399; display:inline; Is there any way to solve this in MSIE7?

• How to set CSS style colors in GWT

  I have a GWT + AppEngine application that lets users create online polls. I want to let the poll creator choose from a variety of themes for his poll. We will save the theme a poll creator chose on the server and whenever a poll respondent access the poll he will get the questions with the chosen theme. A theme for us means a set of 4-5 colors which we will use to style the poll page. Our client side application is a GWT application with styles set inline in UiBinder templates elements, for example: <ui:style> .header { background: color1; padding: 6px 6px; } .anothercssclass { background: color2; padding: 6px 6px; } </ui:style> Please suggest how we can set the color1 and color2 from the theme saved on server. Please note this is NOT a GWT module theme question.

• Active Scaffold + Ruby 2.3.5 not working

  Hello, I have an application with Rails 2.3.5. And Im trying to use AS latest version, I have used it previously but cant make it work here. I have my ingredient_categories Controller, where i put class Administration::IngredientCategoriesController < ApplicationController layout "default" active_scaffold :ingredient_categories end I have this set up on routes to be :active_scaffold=true I have a model also called ingredient_category, and in the views folder (inside administration/ingredient_categories, and /ingredient_categories) i have nothing as it is usual. And Im getting over and over again: Template is missing Missing template ingredient_categories/list.html in view path themes/aqueouslight:app/views I had an error before asking me for a list.erb, which I created and put <%= render :active_scaffold = 'ingredient_categories', :label = 'Categorias' % And now this error of the list.thml... Cant make it work! dont know whhy really... whould be SO simple and its burning my head now.. Thanks!

• Is there any way to prevent a Delphi application from using Virtual Storage on Vista/Win 7 without e

  The question pretty much says it all. I have an app with an older component that doesn't work right if runtime themes are enabled. But if I don't enable them, the app always ends up messing with the virtual store. Thanks! Update: Using Mark's solution below, the application no longer writes to the Virtual Store. But, now it won't access a tdb file (Tiny Database file) that it needs. This tdb file is the same file that was being written to the Virtual store. Any ideas on how I can give it access to the tdb file and still prevent writing the Virtual Store?

• Drupal 6: moving localhost to server | clear cached data

  Hi friends, I worked on localhost to build my drupal site. then, I moved to server. Steps: Clear cache tables (Site Configuration Performance Clear Cached Data button) on localhost Export db and then import on live server Move files/folders to live server Edit settings.php to reflect live server config everything is working great until I make Clear Cached Data on Server. than my custom theme, custom front page, etc... all mess up :( What can be the problem? I appreciate helps so much!! Thanks! !!SORTED!! I used a subtheme for Zen, named mgf . then I had taken a back-up as mgf- somehow after I make Clear Cached Data, Drupal links to this mgf- which is old and doesnt have latest stylings. I just removed this folder from themes, and it linked to the right-latest mgf.

The code it is complaining about is: <style name="Title" parent="@android:style/TextAppearance_Holo_Large"> <item name="android:layout_height">wrap_content</item> <item name="android:layout_width">wrap_content</item> </style> I checked my manifest file and I have set the SDK to: <uses-sdk android:minSdkVersion="14" android:targetSdkVersion="17" /> Which i believe allows for using the Holo Themes. I am using Android Studio though I doubt that is the cause of the error. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

"'"; } } I need to work in a bit at the top so that if the directory doesnt exist it defaults to the images sat in the root of the background directory... Any help would be appreciated.

  Howdy, folks! First time here -- thought I'd field a question on behalf of a coworker. Somebody in my lab is doing a content analysis (e.g. reading an article or transcript line by line and identifying relevant themes) of the web presences of various privatized neuroimaging centers (e.g. http://www.canmagnetic.com/). She's been c/ping entire site maps by hand, and I know I could slap something together with Python to follow links and dump full text (with line numbers) for her, but I've never actually done anything quite like this.   Hello, I recently switched CMSes. While using Wordpress, I had this permalink convention: "/year/post". Now, I'd like to have "year/month/post". To keep legacy links, I need to redirect from "http://site.com/2009/sample-post" to "http://site.com/2009/01/sample-post". "01" should be permanent in this case. • How to cache dynamic javascript/jquery/ajax/json content with Akamai

  Trying to wrap my head around how things are cached on a CDN and it is new territory for me. In the document we received about sending in environment requests, it says "Dynamically-generated content will not benefit much from EdgeSuite". I feel like this is a simplified statement and there has to be a way to make it so you cache dynamically generated content if the tools are configured correctly. The site we are working with runs off a wordpress database, and uses javascript and ajax to build the pages, based on the json objects that php scripts have generated. The process - user's browser this URL, browser talks to edgesuite tools which will have cached certain pre-defined elements, and then requests from the host web server anything that is not cached, once edgesuite has compiled a combination of the two, it sends that information back to the browser. Can we not simply cache all json objects (and of course images, js, css) and therefore the web browser never has to hit the host server's database, at which point in essence, we have cached our dynamic content? Does anyone have any pointers on the most efficient configuration for this type of system -- Akamai/CDN -- to served javascript/ajax/json generated pages that ideally already hit pre-cached json data? Any and all feedback is welcome!

• Which cloud hosting should I use? [closed]

  Possible Duplicate: How to find web hosting that meets my requirements? If anyone wants to get some real life karma by giving a tiny non-profit pointers, please advise! I posted a thread about our website with highly variable traffic (www.WorldOceansDay.org). The event is on June 8th, and the traffic goes from 100-400/day in the off-season, to about 200,000 trying to access the site at any one time on June 8th. It's a Wordpress site hosted on GoDaddy shared hosting and predictably crashed horribly. From the internet's feedback, we've decided to move to a cloud server to handle the traffic, but I'm a huge newbie and I don't have very reliable mentorship, so I'm turning to crowdsourcing. We're trying to decide between Amazon Web Services and RackSpace Cloud servers. Our sys admin consultant also suggested GoDaddy's new 4GH but I have had such incredibly bad experiences with GoDaddy thus far that I am hesitant. From what I've read on the internet, RackSpace might be cheaper? Would AWS totally break the bank? We don't have a ton of money to spend on hosting. We'll also be using CloudFlare to cache and serve the pages since they're dynamic. I've found a few AWS & RackSpace calculators but I am not 100% on how to find those numbers... GoDaddy? Google Analytics?   If you want to send an email to a contact or several contacts, you might want to keep some of the recipient email addresses private using the Bcc (Blind Carbon Copy) Field. Here’s how to do it in Outlook 2010. It’s not enabled by default, but adding it as a field for all future emails is a simple process. Launch Outlook and under the Home tab click on the New E-mail button. When the new mail window opens click on the Options tab and in the Show Fields column select Bcc. The Bcc field will appear and you can then put the contacts in there who you want to receive the mail secretly or don’t want to show a certain email address. • Stupid Geek Tricks: Compare Your Browser’s Memory Usage with Google Chrome

  Ever tried to figure out exactly how much memory Google Chrome or Internet Explorer is using? Since they each show up a bunch of times in Task Manager, it’s not so easy! Here’s the quick and easy way to compare them. Both Chrome and IE use multiple processes to isolate tabs from each other, to make sure that one tab doesn’t kill the whole browser. Firefox, on the other hand, just uses a single process for everything. Rather than pulling out a calculator and adding them all up, you can just open up Google Chrome, and type in about:memory into the location bar to see a full list of each browser’s memory usage.   On my test system with 6 GB of system RAM, I’m running the Development channel version of Chrome, and I’ve got about 40 different tabs open, which is why the memory usage is so high. Firefox has 8 tabs open, and IE is enjoying being opened for the first time in forever. Want to help cut down on memory usage and keep your Chrome browser running fast? Disable all unnecessary extensions, and then make sure you disable any plug-ins that you don’t need either. I found a way to change the name without recreating all your settings. It uses the built in administration commands in IIS7, called appcmd. • Display a Text Message During Bootup of Windows 7

  Sometimes you might want to leave a text message for a user before they log into a Windows 7 computer. Today we show you a neat trick that allows you to leave a message they can read before logging in. Add a Text Message To add a message, click on Start and enter regedit into the Search box and hit Enter. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Policies\System and double-click on legalnoticecaption. In the Value data field enter in the header you want…for instance your company name or the name of your computer…whatever you want it to be, then click OK. Then double-click on legalnoticetext … And in the Value data field enter in the message you want to display and click OK. Close out of Registry Editor and reboot the computer.   After the machine reboots you’ll see the text message you just created at the Welcome screen.   You can include whatever text message you want to be included for the user to read before they log in. This is a neat trick if you have a company or school and want to show a particular message to the user before they log into the machine. • Point subdomain to another web hosting

  I buy a domain from GoDaddy. Let's call this domain as abc.com. I've a hosting account on web hosting A with abc.com as my primary domain. I created a sub-domain pic.abc.com and I wish it to be pointed to my new hosting account. This web hosting B also use abc.com as the primary domain. The main purpose of doing this because I only want to use web hosting B to host my pic.abc.com contents. That's all. Other content from *.abc.com and abc.com will be remain in web hosting A. How to do this? Note 1: I try to add pic.abc.com as an add-on domain in my web hosting B account. Unfortunately, I couldn't do that. Note 2: I also try to use URL forwarding method using DNS management service like DNS Social. It doesn't work. Note 3: I'm using WordPress on the pic.abc.com site. Both web hosting A and B running cPanel - Apache servers (shared hosting). Thanks in advance!
