  • Decimal point issue on cocoa app

    I there, I'm trying making my first cocoa app, but I'm having problems with float numbers because of the regional settings. If I write on the TextBox the float number 1.2 I only can get the number 1, but If I write on the same TextBox the same float number but this time with the ',' sign instead (1,2) I can get the right float value.     I'm trying to find a way to write to a text file from as2. I don't want to use any php or asp because my app needs to run without an internet connection. As3 has FileReference.save() and judging by the amount of searching I've done, as2 doesn't have that simple of a solution. Does anyone have a way even if its hacky to write to a txt file from as2?

    Hi, I am trying to write a regex to match pairs of cards (AA, KK, QQ ... 22) and I have the regex ([AKQJT2-9])\1. The problem I have is that this regex will match AA as well as AAbc etc. Is there a way to write the regex such that I can specify I want to match ([AKQJT2-9])\1 and only that (i.e. no more characters after).     Hi, I'm trying to write my own abstraction over the MessageBoxImage enumeration, and see that MessageBoxImage is defined as: namespace System.Windows { public enum MessageBoxImage { None = 0, Error = 16, Hand = 16, Stop = 16, Question = 32, Exclamation = 48, Warning = 48, Asterisk = 64, Information = 64, } } How does the Show method determine whether to display an Error image or a Hand image? How would I write a method which takes a MessageBoxImage type, and return a CustomMessageBoxImage type which maps to the MessageBoxImage type, as I can't include both MessageBoxImage.Error and MessageBoxImage.Hand in the same switch statement?

  • I want to better organize my website files, but I can access the .php files using the folder heirarc

    For example, to access a page in my search folder, I have to write: mywebsite.tld/search/searchJob.php I don't want users to have to write down folder structure and whatnot. What can I do to change this? OR, is there a better way to organize my files? Because I'm only two pages in and I decided to move some files and got lost in the heirarchy (that's why I moved them like in the picture).
