  • Getting number of hits from Google API

    I've tried to find a way to do this, but without success. I'm looking for a way to find out how many hits a search gets, and I don't want to do this manually, or with regex searching trough the html code. Surely the Google APIs must have a simple way to do this. Does anyone know of one?

PHP Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Zend_Gdata_App_HttpException' with message 'Expected response code 200, got 415 Content-Type application/x-www-form-urlencoded is not a valid input type.' in C:\...\Zend\Gdata\App.php:700 It can't be an unlisted type as I tried to upload even a .txt file - whats happening here - I've googled everywhere for an answer and landed nowhere - please help :(

    Does anyone know if I can hack google's visualization ColumnChart api chart somehow, to make a single column stand out with a different color, like so: I know you can do it with ImageChart, so I don't need that (it fires no events and has no x/y labels). Can I traverse the result with javascript somehow and change the CSS style, if it is truly rendered in SVG?

    Hi all It appears my InfoWindow, when you click on the home icon on my Google Maps v3, is not properly auto-sizing to the content of the InfoWindow. It gives scrollbars when it should not. The InfoWindow should be properly auto-sizing. Any ideas on why?     I'm having an issue getting Appstats to work correctly. Using /appstats or /appstats/stats ends up in an infinite loop that keeps redirecting back to /appstats/stats. This results in a 404 error saying the page isn't redirecting properly. Any idea what the issue is? Here are the relevant lines in my appengine-web.xml.     Operating system : WinXP Program and version you use to access Google Calendar (FF3.5): I'm developing a script (based on an existing vCal ASP.NET class I found online) to generate an .ics file. This file works perfectly when importing to Outlook 2003. When I try to import to Google Calendar, I get the following error: Failed to import events: Unable to process your iCal/CSV file.. I want a JS implementation on mobile devices but I don't want to load up 9KB of local memory or use server-side GA. I'm primarily interested only in tracking page views and uniques. Has anyone rolled their own GA implementation?

    The following URLs point to the same resource: http://www.domain.com/books/123 http://www.domain.com/books/123-Harry-Potter http://www.domain.com/books/123-Harry-Potter-And-The-Deathly-Hallows I would like to use (1) as the canonical URL for OpenGraph/Facebook, so if you "like" (2) and (3) then will count for (1). But I would like to use (3) as the canonical URL for Google, because of SEO. Is this recommended?

I'd like to write an extension that loads a cached version of a page when the online one can't be accessed (e.g. Internet connectivity issue). Updated: I know I could write an NPAPI plugin accessible through an extension to accomplish this but I'd rather not suffer writing one... I am after a solution without resorting to NPAPI, please.
