  • How to upgrade v2 to v3 FSFS subversion filesystem

    Firstly, I am trying to reintegrate a branch with the trunk (using TortoiseSVN) but I am getting the error message "Querying merge info requires version 3 of the FSFS filesystem schema; filesystem E:/MyRepository/ uses only version 2". Was it really not possible to reintegrate branches in earlier versions of subversion? Or is there another way of doing this? Anyway, how can I upgrade the file system from version 2 to version 3?

  • Mysterious dbboon folder with proxy.php file on my godaddy account

    When doing some web maintenance today, I noticed a strange new folder on my GoDaddy hosting account at the root level named "dbboon", with a single file inside, called proxy.php. It's code is listed below, and seems to be some sort of proxy function. I was kind of troubled because I didn't put it there. I googled all this to learn more, but didn't find anything, except for the proxy file happened to be also stored at pastebin.com: http://pastebin.com/PQsSPbCr I called GoDaddy and they confirmed that it belonged to them, said it was put there by their advanced hosting group for testing purposes but didn't have any more information.   • Change webserver used by Flex in FlexBuilder to .NET Framework 3.5

    I just had to reformat and reinstall Flex and reconstruct a project. The problem is i am using ASP.NET as my server side technology and using LINQ in my files. The version of WebDev.Webserver.exe that FlexBuilder starts up is the wrong version so I get this error : Compiler Error Message: CS0234: The type or namespace name 'Linq' does not exist in the namespace 'System' (are you missing an assembly reference?) Microsoft (R) Visual C# 2005 Compiler version 8.00.50727.3053 for Microsoft (R) Windows (R) 2005 Framework version 2.0.50727 Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation 2001-2005. All rights reserved. I know that changing to the latest version of ASP.NET / Framework will fix this - but I just can't figure out HOW to make that change in Flexbuilder. I cant even remember if i ever successfully did it before or if I just created a virtual directory in IIS7. Where would I change the version?

    Hi, I'm teaching myself cocoa and enjoying the experience most of the time. I have been struggling all day with a simple problem that google has let me down on. I have read the Cocoa Bindings Program Topics and think I grok it but still can't solve my issue. I have a very simple class called MTSong that has various properties. I have used @synthesize to create getter/setters and can use KVC to change properties. i.e in my app controller the following works: mySong = [[MTSong alloc]init]; [mySong setValue:@"2" forKey:@"version"]; In case I am doing something noddy in my class code MTSong.h is: #import <Foundation/Foundation.h> @interface MTSong : NSObject { NSNumber *version; NSString *name; } @property(readwrite, assign) NSNumber *version; @property(readwrite, assign) NSString *name; @end and MTSong.m is: #import "MTSong.h" @implementation MTSong - (id)init { [super init]; return self; } - (void)dealloc { [super dealloc]; } @synthesize version; @synthesize name; @end In Interface Builder I have a label (NSTextField) that I want to update whenever I use KVC to change the version of the song. I do the following: Drag NSObjectController object into the doc window and in the Inspector-Attributes I set: Mode: Class Class Name: MTSong Add a key called version and another called name Go to Inspector-Bindings-Controller Content Bind To: File's Owner (Not sure this is right...) Model Key Path: version Select the cell of the label and go to Inspector Bind to: Object Controller Controller Key: mySong Model Key Path: version I have attempted changing the Model Key Path in step 2 to "mySong" which makes more sense but the compiler complains. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.     I tried to deploy the sample application from this tutorial: http://united-coders.com/phillip-steffensen/developing-a-simple-soap-webservice-using-spring-30-apache-cxf-226-and-maven-2 In eclipse everything works fine, but i went to troubles when deploying the service. The cxf-java2ws-plugin throws a ClassNotFoundException for org.springframework.core.NestedRuntimeException.     On a Joyent accelerator I'm working with, Ruby and Rubygems were installed when the server was initially setup using Cool Stack. The existing version of Rubygems is version 0.9.2. When it comes to upgrading RubyGems using the 'sudo gem install rubygems-update' and 'sudo update_rubygems' commands, it results in the following error: ./lib/rubygems.rb:124: uninitialized constant Gem::RbConfig (NameError) from setup.rb:24:in `require' from setup.rb:24 Without having much success in rectifying this issue, I wanted to install a fresh version of RubyGems alongside this one. As this is a production server, I want to minimize the amount of environment changes I make on the server. If I install a fresh version of RubyGems from source, how do I set this new installed version of RubyGems as the default version of RubyGems to use?

  • Can 2 different applications use the same database?

    Without additional context, the answer is "no", I think. Here is the context. I want to have a free version and a premium version of the same application. When people buy the application, I want them to be able to "upgrade" without losing their data, i.e. the premium version should install over the free version. I want to use the same code base and just switch a setting to build the premium version. Andoid Market does not let me convert a free app to a paid app, so the trivial option is not available. I am curious if someone has tried this successfully. How does Android Market identify an application - will it think that the premium version is a different app and just install it in parallel?

    I am developing a gwt application in maven. In this I am using maven war plugin. Everything works fine. When I give mvn install command it builds abc.war file in target folder. But it is not copying compiled javascript files ("module1" and "module2" directories present in target) to war directory. I want to get newly compiled javascript files in war directory.     Per the above I am trying to re-target a fresh ASP.NET MVC 2 application in Visual Studio 2010 RTM. After all sorts of tweaking the closest I am getting is the error below: The primary reference "System.Web.Mvc, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35, processorArchitecture=MSIL" could not be resolved because it has an indirect dependency on the framework assembly "System.Web, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a" which could not be resolved in the currently targeted framework. ".NETFramework,Version=v3.5". To resolve this problem, either remove the reference "System.Web.Mvc, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35, processorArchitecture=MSIL" or retarget your application to a framework version which contains "System.Web, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a".     I get this on a lot of Maven dependencies, though current source of pain is Spring. I'll set a Spring version and include it like so: <spring-version>3.0.0.RELEASE</spring-version> <!-- Spring framework --> <dependency> <groupId>org.springframework</groupId> <artifactId>spring-core</artifactId> <version>${spring-version}</version> </dependency> Which works as expected. I am however having problems setting my dependency on spring-ws-core for web services. The latest I can find in any repo is 2.0.0-M1. http://mvnrepository.com/artifact/org.springframework.ws/spring-ws-core Any clues on what I need to include in my maven POM to get Spring 3 web services to work :)

  • ASP.NET application partially reading external configuration

    I have an ASP.NET web app and am attempting to reference an external config (using enterprise application blocks configuration) for some of the configuration but it is not entirely working. I previously had all of the configuration info in the web.config (and it was working), but we are wanting to share some of this configuration information between multiple apps. When I put configurationSource tag in the web.config, and read the configuration through the WebConfigurationManager object, it loads some of the external config info (Logging) but not the connectionStrings and not the custom section I created. So its reading it (logging is working), but some dots aren't being connected and my connection strings aren't coming through. Again, it worked when it was all in the web.config. Any idea what needs to change to be able to reference an external configuration source and have it all come through?   • HQL query for entity with max value

    I have a Hibernate entity that looks like this (accessors ommitted for brevity): @Entity @Table(name="FeatureList_Version") @SecondaryTable(name="FeatureList", pkJoinColumns=@PrimaryKeyJoinColumn(name="FeatureList_Key")) public class FeatureList implements Serializable { @Id @Column(name="FeatureList_Version_Key") private String key; @Column(name="Name",table="FeatureList") private String name; @Column(name="VERSION") private Integer version; } I want to craft an HQL query that retrieves the most up to date version of a FeatureList. The following query sort of works: Select f.name, max(f.version) from FeatureList f group by f.name The trouble is that won't populate the key field, which I need to contain the key of the record with the highest version number for the given FeatureList. If I add f.key in the select it won't work because it's not in the group by or an aggregate and if I put it in the group by the whole thing stops working and it just gives me every version as a separate entity. So, can anybody help?

  • Possible to access gdata api when using Java App Engine?

    I have a dilemma where I want to create an application that manipulates google contacts information. The problem comes down to the fact that Python only supports version 1.0 of the api whilst Java supports 3.0. I also want it to be web-based so I'm having a look at google app engine, but it seems that only the python version of app engine supports the import of gdata apis whilst java does not. So its either web based and version 1.0 of the api or non-web based and version 3.0 of the api. I actually need version 3.0 to get access to the extra fields provided by google contacts. So my question is, is there a way to get access to the gdata api under Google App Engine using Java? If not is there an ETA on when version 3.0 of the gdata api will be released for python? Cheers.

    I have a directory structure like this client/lib a.jar b-4.3.jar c-1.2.jar d-4.3.jar e.jar I need to copy some jars without version and some with version. The only information that i have is version number, and that is stored in a variable. Problem is version number that i have in variable is 4.3.1 and version that jars have is just first two digits from the variable value (i.e. 4.3 in my case). I need all the jars that has starting two digits that my variable has and some of the jars without version. For e.g. from above directory structure i need: b-4.3.jar d-4.3.jar e.jar Can somebody please help?

    On my system I have two versions of Python (to call them I type python and python2 in the command line). When I use the first version of Python, I cannot import sklearn module but I can do it in the second version of Python. I would like to use the first version of python (because other modules are available there) and, at the same time, I would like to be able to import sklearn from this version of Python. My solution was to use: import sys sys.path.append('location_of_the_sklearn_module') To find the location of the sklearn module I started a python session (using the second version of python, in which sklearn works). The I type: import sklearn sklearn.__file__ As a result I got: /home/name/my_name/numpy/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/sklearn/__init__.pyc In the session of the first version of Python I tried: import sys sys.path.append('/home/name/my_name/numpy/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/sklearn') import sklearn Unfortunately it did not work. As a result I got: ImportError: No module named sklearn Does anybody know what I am doing wrong and if it is possible to reach the goal in the way I try?

    I want to upgrade the package ggplot2: library(ggplot2) packageDescription("ggplot2")["Version"] > 0.8.3 But the current version is 0.8.7. I tried update.packages(), which seemed to work OK. But it still returned older version 0.8.3. So I downloaded and installed the package source from Cran, which says 0.8.7 in the download page. I then install it via the GUI menu in R. It returns ** building package indices ... * DONE (ggplot2) I then run: packageDescription("ggplot2")["Version"] > 0.8.3 And still I have the older version! I don't know why this is not working, what's more I had already come across this problem before and solved it (I can't remember exactly what) but now it has gone back to the older version! What's the easiest way to keep packages like this updated automatically and not have them refer back to older packages?

    I'm trying to figure out how do download a particular tag of a git repository - it's one version behind the current version. I saw there was a tag for the previous version on the git web page, with object name of something long hex number. But the version name is "Tagged release 1.1.5" according the site. I tried a command like this (with names changed): git clone http://git.abc.net/git/abc.git my_abc And I did get something - a directory, a bunch of subdirectories, etc. If it's the whole repository, how do I get at the version I'm seeking? If not, how do I download that particular version?

  • How to handle added input data colums without having to maintain multiple versions of SSIS packages?

    I’m writing to solicit ideas for a solution to an upcoming problem. The product that provides data to our ETL process currently has multiple versions. Our clients are all using some version of the product, but not all use the same version and they will not all be upgraded at the same time. As new versions of the product are rolled out, the most common change is to add new data columns. Columns being dropped or renamed may happen occasionally, but our main focus right now is how to handle new columns being added. The problem that we want to address is how to handle the data for clients who use an older version of the product. If we don’t account for the new columns in our SSIS packages, then the data in those columns for clients using an older product version will not be processed. What we want to avoid is having to maintain a separate version of the SSIS packages for each version of the product. Has anyone successfully implemented a solution for this situation?
