  • Blackberry Development, adding dynamic number of buttons and setting Fieldchangelistener() for them

    Hi, I am adding dynamic number of buttons in a Blackberry application and trying to get different events on each button click. I am not able to apply the setchangelistener() for these array of buttons as once the loop finishes after adding all the buttons, the events gets generated only for the last indexed button. If I make us of getIndex(), it runs fine only if I am not adding any other fields on my screen, but if I add other fields along with these array of buttons, the getIndex() function count them in the indexing as well. Can anyone please help me out in setting FieldChangeListener to array of ButtonField? Here is a sample code of the way I am using the array of ButtonField.   • UISwitch within UIScrollview nearly impossible to use....

    Hi there. I'm using a UISwitch-Component at the bottom of a view that sits within a UIScrollView. Now the problem that appeared, is that the switch is nearly impossible to swipe because the UIScrollView seems to dominate the userinput. Switching works very well by tapping the switch, but from my point of view, most users "switch" the UISwitch instead of tapping. Did anyone of you face the same / or similar problems and managed to come up with a solution? thx in advance sam

    I'm creating windows in a Flex application (AIR) using the mx:Window component. I'd like the window to be automatically sized to its content (because it will be dynamic), in the same way that an mx:Panel or mx:Box would be. I've customized components before, so I'm somewhat familiar with the UIComponent lifecycle, but I'm not quite sure how best to do the logic for auto-sizing a container. If it makes it easier, I'm not expecting that the window auto-size to its content at any time, thought that would be a bonus!

UserRepository is waiting for the following dependencies How do I fix this?

    I have a library that writes data in either a text or binary format. It has the following three components: common data structures text writer (depends on 1) binary writer (depends on 1) The obvious way to distribute this is as 3 .jar files, so that users can include only what they need. However, the "common data structures" component is really just two small classes so I'm considering creating only two .jar files and including the common .class files in both. My question: What are the potential problems with doing this?

    When I double click on an mdf file on Visual Web Developer 2008 (NerdDinner.mdf) it says: Connections to SQL Server files (*.mdf) require SQL Server Express 2005 to function properly. Please verify the installation of the component or download from the URL: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=49251 The URL of course points to SQL Server Express 2008. I have that one installed and running. Any ideas why am I getting that message?

    I'm trying to run a hosted script with content privileges in my Firefox extension. To do this, I create a content iframe in the hidden window pointed at a html file that pulls the script. This script requires the 'history' be available, but the iframes created in the hidden window have no history for some reason. Chromebug reports this for the iframe's contentWindow.history: object does not support history (nsIDOMHistory) And the script gives this error when its not available: Error: Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsIDOMHistory.length] Any ideas?

  • Stop VCL Child Controls from Inheriting Parent Popup Menu

    I have a Delphi 2007 VCL TPanel with a TPopupMenu assigned to it. There are some TEdit controls on the panel. The edits inherit the popup menu of the parent panel. I want to not allow this popup inheriting, so the edits will show the default Windows TEdit popup menu with Copy, Cut, Paste, etc., but have not found a way to do it yet. There doesn't appear to be a "ParentPopupMenu" type property to set which controls inherit it from the parent component.

They do not have to comply to any formal standard and should look alike the diagrams attached.
