  • Set Positions returns E_NOTIMPL

    Hi, I want to write only a specific portion of a .avi file in the output .avi file .For this I follow Source Filter -Avi mux-File Writer.I try to use IMediaSeeking on the Mux to set the specific start and stop times using Set Positions but it returns E_NOTIMPL. I also try to query the graph builder for IMediaSeeking and try to set the start and stop positions with no success.Can someone help?

  • Watir question regarding select_list and reloading

    I have a drop down with multiple options. Whenever you choose an option, the page reloads with data specific with that option. Currently I'm using select.list(:name, strg).set(value) and it does that part just fine, but it does not reload the page with the specific data. Anyone know how to help. When i watch it in action, it doesn't select the option either, but my logs show that it does.Thanks.

    Since the SQLite engine will not truncate the data you store in a text column, is there any advantage in being specific with column sizes when you define your schema? Would anyone prefer this: CREATE TABLE contact( id INTEGER PRIMARY KEY, name VARCHAR(45), title VARCHAR(10) ); over this: CREATE TABLE contact( id INTEGER PRIMARY KEY, name TEXT, title TEXT ); Why? Are there advantages to not being specific?

    Hi Guys, I'm looking to construct a script that would go through an XML file. Would find specific tags in it, put them in a table and fill the table with specific tags within them. I'm using MySQL 5.1 so loadXML isn't an option and I think that ExtractData() method wont be much use either.. but I don't really know. What would be the best way to go about this?

  • Drawbacks of using an integer as a bitfield?

    I have a bunch of boolean options for things like "accepted payment types" which can include things like cash, credit card, cheque, paypal, etc. Rather than having a half dozen booleans in my DB, I can just use an integer and assign each payment method an integer, like so PAYMENT_METHODS = ( (1<<0, 'Cash'), (1<<1, 'Credit Card'), (1<<2, 'Cheque'), (1<<3, 'Other'), ) and then query the specific bit in python to retrieve the flag. I know this means the database can't index by specific flags, but are there any other drawbacks?

    I have an old VB6 app and I'm not sure which code was used to compile it. One revision of the source makes a call to Sleep in kernel32.dll. Is there a way to find out if the exe calls a specific function in a DLL? I can see that kernel32.dll is linked by using the "Dependency Walker" tool but that doesn't seem to tell me that a specific function is called from the exe.

    I want to view events over specific time range for a specific calendar, but am having trouble using the API, It is a generic API, and it reminds me of using the DOM. The problem is that it seems difficult to work with because much of the information is in generic base classes. How do I get the events for a calendar using Groovy or Java?     If I'm using a canvas to display data and I want the user to be able to click on various items on the canvas in order to get more information or interact with it in some way, whats the best way of going about this? Searching online I can find information about how to bind events to tags but that seems to be more indirect then what I want. I don't want to group items with tags, but rather have specific function calls when the user clicks specific items on the canvas.

I would like that a user fill out a form with their info and, just before clicking submit, there to be a summary of details area where they confirm their details are correctly entered.
