  • Do the HtmlWindow returned from the HtmlPage.PopupWindow can .Invoke or .Eval javascript

    Creating a separate PopupWindow that opens another web browser give me as return value a HtmlWindow object that is the same object type as the static "HtmlPage.Window" of the silverlight project. That object type provides the "Invoke" and "Eval" methods. I want to evaluate a javascript that can be located on my Silverlight code in a string value (Eval) or inside the uri that I have popped up (Invoke). Nomather script execution method I use, It fails. For eval, it gives me an InvalidOperationException with "Eval failed." message. For Invoke, it gives me an InvalidOperationException with "Failed to Invoke: TalkToJavaScript." message. Is there a way to execute javascript on a PopupWindow. The code here is a simple test. The first time that I press the button it popup the uri in a new webbrowser instance. The second time that I click, it tries to execute javascript on the destination uri window.     I have music website. There are 46 album pages and each page has different player and files. I just entered the one of album's URLs in a search engine. I found that Google is displaying player code in search result content. For example, enter this URL in Google and check the results. Each result displays a .mp3 file in content section. I see this: This page contains a demo of and documentation for the new jPlayer Playlist add-on, ... mp3:"http://www.jplayer.org/audio/mp3/Miaow-01-Tempered-song.mp3", ... I don't want Google to show the player code and mp3 files in search result. How can I hide audio files and player code from search engine? What would be the best solution for it?

    I'd like to use stylesheet instead of hard-coding HTML so that text within cells are aligned vertically, ie. text starts at the upper left-hand corner. Thank you. Edit: Problem solved. Turns out the HTML editor I'm using is a bit old and didn't display things as expected, but they do show OK in a modern browser with "vertical-align:top".

    I recently came across a website that generates a random adjective, surrounded by a prefix and suffix entered by the user. For example, if the user enters "123" for prefix, and "789" for suffix, it might generate "123Productive789". I've been screwing around with it, and I thought I might try something out: I entered this into the prefix field: <a href="javascript:window.close();">Click</a><hr /> And, sure enough, I was given the link, then an <hr>, then a random adjective. What I'm wondering is, could this be dangerous? There must be many more websites out there that have this issue, are all of them vulnerable to some sort of php injection?

    I'd like to call Python's distutils' or setuptools' setup() function in a slightly unconventional way, but I'm not sure whether distutils is meant for this kind of usage. As an example, let's say I currently have a 'setup.py' file, which looks like this (lifted verbatim from the distutils docs--the setuptools usage is almost identical): from distutils.core import setup setup(name='Distutils', version='1.0', description='Python Distribution Utilities', author='Greg Ward', author_email='[email protected]', url='http://www.python.org/sigs/distutils-sig/', packages=['distutils', 'distutils.command'], ) Normally, to build just the .spec file for an RPM of this module, I could run python setup.py bdist_rpm --spec-only, which parses the command line and calls the 'bdist_rpm' code to handle the RPM-specific stuff. The .spec file ends up in './dist'. How can I change my setup() invocation so that it runs the 'bdist_rpm' command with the '--spec-only' option, WITHOUT parsing command-line parameters? Can I pass the command name and options as parameters to setup()? Or can I manually construct a command line, and pass that as a parameter, instead? NOTE: I already know that I could call the script in a separate process, with an actual command line, using os.system() or the subprocess module or something similar. I'm trying to avoid using any kind of external command invocations. I'm looking specifically for a solution that runs setup() in the current interpreter. For background, I'm converting some release-management shell scripts into a single Python program. One of the tasks is running 'setup.py' to generate a .spec file for further pre-release testing. Running 'setup.py' as an external command, with its own command line options, seems like an awkward method, and it complicates the rest of the program. I feel like there may be a more Pythonic way.

    In my application I'm exporting an Excel file by getting the layout of a HTML page. So, in my codebehind, I'm modifying the HTML layout and inserting itens on it like if it was a webpage. Doing it that way, I don't need to use any external library and, as the data I'm exporting is just a table, I don't need nothing complex to handle it. My question is: there is a way to create an AutoFilter by just modifying the HTML tags? I mean, like if a put a < bColumn Name in the HTML, when exporting to Excel it will become Bold, it is possible to do the same thing with the AutoFilter?

  • Disable MathML output of eLyXer

    eLyXer is a standalone LyX to HTML converter. In the resulting file, equations are formatted as MathML, and the file itself starts with an XML tag. This causes two problems: LibreOffice does not read the XML file (it can read HTML files, but not XHTML). I am unable to copy and paste the equations into a document editor such as LibreOffice with the goal of subsequent conversion into .doc, because .doc files do not support MathML. The eLyXer help page mentions an option to only use simple math, but there is no option to set math equations to output as images. And I already set Document Settings Output Math equations Format: images in LyX, which presumably is saved in the lyx document somewhere. A web search did not come up with any solutions.

    I'm looking for the simplest way of creating 'buttons' with bootom-central triangles as follows: |--------| | Text | |---\/---| By buttons/menu items I mean something which will will support atomic mouse behavior for the whole shape's region. No rounded corners just the shape itself. I saw plenty of websites doing thsese buttons lately, but now for some strange reason I couldn't find any. Ideally I'm looking for tutorial links or some general guidances, as the topic might be too big to be covered by one post. Technology scope wise - ideally I'm looking for Html5/Css3 solution. I don't care mouch about old IE support and I think Html5/css3 will give a slicker/more elegant solution.   • Passing options in autospec with Cucumber in Ruby on Rails Development

    I always run autospec to run features and RSpec at the same time, but running all the features is often time-consuming on my local computer. I would run every feature before committing code. I would like to pass the argument in autospec command. autospec doesn't obviously doesn't accept the arguments directly. Here's the output of autospec -h: autotest [options] options: -h -help You're looking at it. -v Be verbose. Prints files that autotest doesn't know how to map to tests. -q Be more quiet. -f Fast start. Doesn't initially run tests at start. I do have a cucumber.yml in config directory. I also have rerun.txt in the Rails root directory. cucumber -h gives me a lot of information about arguments. How can I run autospec against features that are tagged as @wip? I think I can make use of config/cucumber.yml. There are profile definitions. I can run cucumber -p wip to run only @wip-tagged features, but I'd like to do this with autospec. I would appreciate any tips for working with many spec and feature files.
