  • Hide Segemented Control on NavBar, then add Title

    Basically I have a Segmented Controller on my NavBar right in the middle. What I want to be able to do is hide the Segmented Controller and add a title to the navigation bar. But with my code, the segmented controller is being hidden, but the title will not add, thus leaving a blank NavBar. This is my simple code in .h: IBOutlet UISegmentedControl *toggleDay; IBOutlet UINavigationBar *navBar; And this is my code in my .m: toggleDay.hidden = YES; navBar.topItem.title = @"Title"; Any help would be great thanks!

  • LinkButton not working due to validation control field

    In my .aspx page which derives from a master page I have a contact form which uses some validation, such as the RequiredFieldValidator and RegularExpressValidator. At top of my page I have a link bar and whenver I am at contact.aspx I can't navigate to the other pages as if that I need to fill in the necessary data so that it satisfies the validator. How can I fix this?

  • Auto scrolling control (WinAPI)?

    In C# (.Net) you can create a panel and set autoscroll to true. you can then add controls into it, including beyond it's size, then it will scroll. I was wondering if when using the real WinAPI in c++ (not .net) how one could acheive the same result. Must I keep track of the controls inside and move them all when I scroll or is there an easier way like in C#. Thanks

Now I am trying to attach a selector on one of the controls inside pageLoad(), problem being is that the modal container is initially set to visible=false. I tried checking for length but it still throws exception if ($('#<%= myControl.ClientId %>').length > 0) { $('#<%= myControl.ClientID %>').click(function() { // Do work }); } Compiler Error Message: CS0103: The name 'myControl' does not exist in the current context

    I have code similar to the following running in a script: try: s = ftplib.FTP('xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx','username','password') except: print ('Could not contact FTP serer') sys.exit() IF the FTP site is inaccessible, the script almost seems to 'hang' ... It is taking about 75 seconds on average before sys.exit() appears to be called... I know the 75 seconds is probably very subjective, and dependent on the system this runs on...but is there a way to have python just try this once, and if unsucessful, to exit immediately? The platform I am using for this is Mac OS X 10.5/python 2.5.1.

But when I use a dropdown & select a text from it, & this text is automatically entered in the textbox, the guide-text is not fading away.   • Object viewer control needed (like QuickWatch in VS)

    Anyone know of any controls that you can add to your application to allow the user to check out the content of an object? I'm thinking of something like QuickWatch in Visual Studio, just list all properties of an object and its values and allow the user to drill down. I started writing one using reflection but it turned out be a lot of work to handle different kind of collections. This functionality would be used for debugging purposes mostly and not by regular users. I prefer WPF but Winforms would work as well.

When the system initializes, the binding is done just fine, When i update the value in one of the fields on the ListBox, the item in the background updates as well, but when i update the value in the background it is not reflected in the ListBox.     I got three UTF-8 stings: hello, world hello, ?? hello, ?rld I only want the first 10 chars so that the bracket in one column: [hello, wor] [hello, ? ] [hello, ?r] In console: width('??')==width('worl') width('? ')==width('wor') #a white space behind '?' python's format() doesn't help when UTF-8 chars mixed in >>> for s in ['[{0:<{1}.{1}}]'.format(s, 10) for s in ['hello, world', 'hello, ??', 'hello, ?rld']]: ... print(s) ... [hello, wor] [hello, ?? ] [hello, ?rl] So, I wonder if there is a standard way to do the UTF-8 padding staff?
