  There is another way to load MSHTML documents without use Application.ProcessMessages? To load a document into a IHTMLDocument I need to do this: while Doc.readyState <> 'complete' do Application.ProcessMessages; I want not to process all the message queue during the loading, because I would be changing my application flow, in other words, some messages that should be processed after the loading to be completed can be processed earlier, even before the loading end. There is a special message code that the IHTMLDocument expect to advance in the loading process? Or there is another way to load? Thanks.

Is there any framework/library available, or a code snippet, or a tutorial?? • How do i write a sql query with user input and wildcards

  Usually i write my where statements as WHERE key=@0 then add a param. Now i would like the user to specific a few letters such as 'oat' and would like to stick wildcards around it %oat% which matches 'coating'. So how do i write the query so wildcards are around the user input (the 'seachword'). Now lets take it a step further. I would not like the user to write % so he cannot do blah%ing. Perhaps % is part of the sentence (or it could be flat out illegal but i prefer it be part of the sentence). How do i put my wildcards around a word or sentence and disallow the user from putting the wildcard between his words? (and preferably make % part of the sentence) C# ado.net sql/sqlite

  When I type... Msbuild<Enter> ... At the command prompt, I get... Microsoft (R) Build Engine Version 2.0.50727.4927 [Microsoft .NET Framework, Version 2.0.50727.4927] Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation 2005. All rights reserved. This is all very well and good except that when I run this against a vs2010 .sln file, the error message indicates: MyProject.sln(2): Solution file error MSB5014: File format version is not recognized. MSBuild can only read solution files between versions 7.0 and 9.0, inclusive. 0 Warning(s) 1 Error(s) It would appear that the version of msbuild that is being called, is not capable of understanding my solution file. I figured that I would check out my path and see where msbuild is being picked up from. However, it seems that no part of my path points at a location where msbuild is to be found. How is the command line finding the copy of msbuild that it is using and how can I change this version so that the latest version is used?

Like a auto suggest thing... I searched at the web but didnt find many stuff. For WYSIWYG editors i couldnt determine if you can programaticcaly apply stuff and set/get caret position. Also i show that autosuggest is nearly impossible. It should be locatted outside of the textbox area.

All rights reserved. So I know I have the path at least set somewhere. I can run that class from command line and it works. • How to improve my Python regex syntax?

  I very new to Python, and fairly new to regex. (I have no Perl experience.) I am able to use regular expressions in a way that works, but I'm not sure that my code is particularly Pythonic or consise. For example, If I wanted to read in a text file and print out text that appears directly between the words 'foo' and 'bar' in each line (presuming this occurred one or zero times a line) I would write the following: fileList = open(inFile, 'r') pattern = re.compile(r'(foo)(.*)(bar)') for line in fileList: result = pattern.search(line) if (result != None): print result.groups()[1] Is there a better way? The if is necessary to avoid calling groups() on None. But I suspect there is a more concise way to obtain the matching String when there is one, without throwing errors when there isn't. I'm not hoping for Perl-like unreadability. I just want to accomplish this common task in the commonest and simplest way.

  This is the input string: 23x^45*y or 2x^2 or y^4*x^3. I am matching ^[0-9]+ after letter x. In other words I am matching x followed by ^ followed by numbers. Problem is that I don't know that I am matching x, it could be any letter that I stored as variable in my char array. For example: foreach (char cEle in myarray) // cEle is letter in char array x, y, z, ... { match CEle in regex(input) //PSEUDOCODE } I am new to regex and I new that this can be done if I define regex variables, but I don't know how.

If you have a code that can be executed in either of the following complexities: A sequence of O(n), like for example: two O(n) in sequence O(n²) The preferred version would be the one that can be executed in linear time. Would there be a time such that the sequence of O(n) would be too much and that O(n²) would be preferred? In other words, is the statement C x O(n) < O(n²) always true for any constant C? Why or why not? What are the factors that would affect the condition such that it would be better to choose the O(n²) complexity?

  I tried to install the Yahoo BOSS mashup framework, but am having trouble running the examples provided. Examples 1, 2, 5, and 6 work, but 3 & 4 give Expat errors.   I use git checkout -b somebranch origin/somebranch to make sure my local branches track remotes already. I would like a way to pull from the tracked branch no matter which branch I am using. In other words, I want to say git pull or some other command, without specifying the branch, and have it mean git pull origin somebranch if I'm on the local branch somebranch Is there a way to do this without putting an entry in the config file for each branch? It would be difficult to maintain if we have to remember to manually enter some config stuff for each branch.

Think of the following cases: an mp3 track is downloaded multiple times, copied over various devices on website a login form is often rebuild many times, why not reuse more code? words themselves are used many times questions and answers are accidentally saved at many places in parallel images or photos often describe the same data (Eiffel tower, Golden gate, Taj Mahal) etc etc Are you aware of solutions? • OpenGL ES view: how to orient it to landscape?

  Looking for clues about orienting an OpenGL ES app in landscape, most information I found dates back from 2008, most of it refering to the early versions of the SDK. Apparently, back in the days, in the case of GL it was recommended to not rotate the view, but instead to apply the rotation as a GL transformation. Is it still the case with the current SDKs? It would be so much simpler to simply rotate the window: all the touch events would be in sync with the rotation. In other words: how to set up an OpenGL view in landscape mode?

  What alternatives are there to GAE, given that I already have a good bit of code working that I would like to keep. In other words, I'm digging python. However, my use case is more of a low number of requests, higher CPU usage type use case, and I'm worried that I may not be able to stay with App Engine forever. I have heard a lot of people talking about Amazon Web Services and other sorts of cloud providers, but I am having a hard time seeing where most of these other offerings provide the range of services (data querying, user authentication, automatic scaling) that App Engine provides. What are my options here?

• Why can't I input the integers from a file?

  I'm trying to get this C++ code to input a series of numbers from a text file: int x = 0; cin >> x; ifstream iffer; int numbers[12]; iffer.open("input.txt"); for (int i = 0; i < 12; i++){ iffer >> numbers[i]; } This doesn't seem to work on the Mac. Every cell will equal to 0 regardless of the values in the text file. In other words, the ifstream isn't assigning the numbers. How can I make this work? One of the exercises is the following, however I do not really understand what it is asking to.... any smart java gurus out there that could explain this in more detail and simple words? Thanks Suppose that you have a binary file that contains numbers whos type is either int or double. You dont know the order of the numbers in the file, but their order is recorded in a string at the begining of the file. The string is composed of the letters i for int, and d for double, in the order of the types of the subsequent numbers. The string is written using the method writeUTF. For example the string "iddiiddd" indicated that the file contains eight values, as follows: one integer, followed by two doubles, followed by two integers, followed by three doubles. Read this binary file and create a new text file of the values written one to a line.

• What is a good way to animate UIViews inside UITableViewCell after a callback?

  We couldn't find a way to animate UIViews inside a UITableCell as an action from a callback. Suppose in a scenario where you click on a button on the UITableViewCell and it fires off an asynchronous action to download a picture. Suppose further that when the picture is downloaded we want a UIView in the cell to animate the picture to give user a visual feedback that something new is about to be presented. We couldn't find a way to track down the UIVIew to invoke beginAnimation on because the original cell that the user clicked on might now be used for another row due to the nature of cells being reused when you scroll up and down in the table. In other words we can't keep a pointer to that UITableViewCell. We need to find another way to target the cell and animate it if that row is visible and don't animate if the row is scrolled out of range.

• HTML/JavaScript: mouseover effect for image maps?

  I'm trying to help out a nonprofit by doing their website. They want (ugh) their logo to serve as an HTML image map. In other words, when you click on different parts of the logo, you're directed to different web pages. They also, however, want mouseover effects: when you mouseover a particular portion of the image map, that piece of the graphic should be highlighted. If the logo was simple, I would slice it up into rectangles and attach mouseover and click events to the appropriate rectangles. With the complexity of their logo, this is not possible, however. Has anyone done anything like this without Flash? I'm not a Flash developer but this is looking like a very difficult task in just HTML/JavaScript. Any ideas? Thanks!

I want to run a RegEx query in java that gives me the Strings 'UMLS concept ID', semantic type and match map list. Is RegEx the right tool or what is the most efficent way to accomplish this in Java?

• Can HTTP URIs have non-ASCII characters?

  I tried to find this in the relevant RFC, IETF RFC 3986, but couldn't figure it. Do URIs for HTTP allow Unicode, or non-ASCII of any kind? Can you please cite the section and the RFC that supports your answer. NB: For those who might think this is not programming related - it is. It's related to an ISAPI filter I'm building. Addendum I've read section 2.5 of RFC 3986. But RFC 2616, which I believe is the current HTTP protocol, predates 3986, and for that reason I'd suppose it cannot be compliant with 3986. Furthermore, even if or when the HTTP RFC is updated, there still will be the issue of rationalization - in other words, does an HTTP URI support ALL of the RFC3986 provisos, including whatever is appropriate to include non US-ASCII characters?
