  • WPF XAML: How to trigger style change in ListBoxItem ancestor to user class?

    I have an ObservableCollection of items of my class "PlaylistItem" that implements INotifyPropertyChanged. The collection is databound to a ListBox and everything else is working. I want to know what markup to use to trigger a style change of the wrapping ListBoxItem based on a property (e.g. "Playing", bool) of the PlaylistItem. How to I use FindAncestor to trigger the change? I can to this in code, but I know I that I can (somehow) do it in markup. Thanks in advance.

  • Simple CSS dropdown menu does not work in IE6 or 7 - please help.

    Hi there. I'm using a very simple CSS dropdown menu which works well in most modern browsers. Unfortunately it must also work in IE6 and 7, which it currently does not.   • What is the proper way to declare a specialization of a template for another template type?

    The usual definition for a specialization of a template function is something like this: class Foo { [...] }; namespace std { template<> void swap(Foo& left, Foo& right) { [...] } } // namespace std But how do you properly define the specialization when the type it's specialized on is itself a template? Here's what I've got: template <size_t Bits> class fixed { [...] }; namespace std { template<size_t Bits> void swap(fixed<Bits>& left, fixed<Bits>& right) { [...] } } // namespace std Is this the right way to declare swap? It's supposed to be a specialization of the template function std::swap, but I can't tell whether the compiler is seeing it as such, or whether it thinks that it's an overload of it or something.

But the CSS use the *width hack to define the dimension. But this hack can only filter whether the browser is IE but not the real rendering mode IE is on.

    Is it possible to deduce a non-type template parameter from a template function parameter? Consider this simple template: template <int N> constexpr int factorial() { return N * factorial<N - 1>(); } template <> constexpr int factorial<0>() { return 1; } template <> constexpr int factorial<1>() { return 1; } I would like to be able to change factorial so that I can alternatively call it like this: factorial(5); and let the compiler figure out the value of N at compile time. Is this possible? Maybe with some fancy C++11 addition?

    So I'm trying to prototype a marketing page and I'm using bootstrap and the new font awesome file. The problem is when I try to use an icon all that gets rendered on the page in a big square. Here's how I include the files in the head: <head> <title> </title> <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/bootstrap.css"> <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/bootstrap-responsive.css"> <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/font-awesome.css"> <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/app.css"> <!--[if IE 7]> <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/font-awesome-ie7.min.css"> <![endif]--> </head> And here's an example of me trying to use an icon: <i class="icon-camera-retro"></i> But all that gets rendered in a big square.   • I need to know how to create a custom webform template in ASP.NET that allows me to pick a master pa

    Using Visual Studio 2008, I need to create a custom web form that when picked acts like the web content form, by providing a dialog that lets you pick a master page. I have looked through the webform.zip template and thought I had a clue, but trying different combinations has baffled me as it either doesn't appear or doesn't work. Also when you set the project type to Web and sub project type to CSharp it doesn't appear, so I don't know if this part of the cause, because I would of hoped that the SupportsMasterPage element would of caused this dialog to appear, if it is a web item, but no luck. Frown Any ideas? p.s. I have used my googling resources to the maximum so unsure what to do.

  • How do I get the file size of a large (> 4 GB) file?

    How can I get the file size of a file in C when the file size is greater than 4gb? ftell returns a 4 byte signed long, limiting it to two bytes. stat has a variable of type off_t which is also 4 bytes (not sure of sign), so at most it can tell me the size of a 4gb file. What if the file is larger than 4 gb?
