• System.Windows.Forms.WebBrowser login dialog doesn't appear

  When I navigate to an intranet site requiring windows authentication, the WinForms WebBrowser control isn't displaying a login dialog. But it will display (after refreshing the page) if I first open Internet Explorer and view the same page. Also, if I make the URL refer to my local IIS instance, the login dialog will appear. Any ideas? Thanks!

The client company has the latest release versions of Java SE, .NET and Adobe AIR installed on all their machines.   Hello , how do I disable browsing to a http link from a Html editor. I have a vb.net web form with a html editor, when I add a hyperlink to the html editor, for example my application website for instance http://myapplication/myloginpage.aspx When I run and click the link I can browse my application from inside the Html Editor, which is so weird. How do I stop this from happening. This is an Intranet application. And the component for Html Editor is of TMS.

  My RIA enabled Silverlight Application is setting the thread culture in the App constructor (this is absolutley okay since it is an intranet application and will never ever be used by someone who is not german): public App() { InitializeComponent(); Thread.CurrentThread.CurrentCulture = new CultureInfo("de-DE"); } It does what it should, the DataForms are displaying datetime values in german notation.   We use self signed certificates on our intranet. What do I need to do to get IE8 to accept them without showing an error message to the user? What we did for IE7 apparently isn't working. EDIT: IE7 wouldn't show any errors if I put the certificate into trusted root certification authorities. IE8 seems to show errors even with the certificate there.
