• How to Set ActiveX Control name on the install window of Internet Explorer

  I created a ActiveX control using ATL, already package it with signature. I want to use it on the webpage, but at the install window the name is MyActiveX.cab with no link. the MyActiveX.cab name can be changed by modifying the html page's tag codebase attribute. but the name is still format like "XXX.cab" with no hyperlink. I find a activex control from chinese website has its own name and link: and its object tags are nothing different: <object ID="CMBPB_OCX" CODEBASE="http://szdl.cmbchina.com/download/PB/pb50.cab#version=5,3,1,1" classid="clsid:F2EB8999-766E-4BF6-AAAD-188D398C0D0B" width="0" height="0"> </object> the pic was taken from MSDN Pages, it has link.   hello, i use a script for my image.php.. the url with an image looks like this: /image.php?title=Alyssa Milano Unicef&description=Alyssa Milano Unicef&url=uploads/2009/12/alyssa_milano_unicef_05.jpg But if someone types directly www.site.com/image.php it shows a blank site.. a redirection would be nice, to the 404page or startpage.. i know it must something like "if else".. if image - then show the page.. if there no pic go to 404 or the startpage.. thank your for helping!

• Wanting to edit a google maps info bubble

  I have to edit an info bubble on a website to help someone out. The site is already online and i dont have the ftp login details so i cant download the files and use them locally to test it. So im having some issues with inserting a logo on the top of the bubble, like a header. Im also having problems with the code needed to add 'to here' and 'from here' directions at the bottom of the bubble. Everything else is plain text in the middle of these 2 objects, so thats easy. Can anyone help me with the header pic and directions code?

• SQL Server 2008 full-text search doesn't find word in words?

  In the database I have a field with a .mht file. I want to use FTS to search in this document. I got this working, but I'm not satisfied with the result. For example (sorry it's in dutch, but I think you get my point) I will use 2 words: zieken and ziekenhuis. As you can see, the phrase 'zieken' is in the word 'ziekenhuis'. When I search on 'ziekenhuis' I get about 20 results. When I search on 'zieken' I get 7 results. How is this possible? I mean, why doesn't the FTS resturn the minimal results which I get from 'ziekenhuis'?   Hey guys, I have a mysql database which stores an id for each picture, as well as the picture's url and its thumbnail url. the thumbnail url is something like thumbs/pic.jpg and the page I'm creating has the folder thumbs in the same place it is created. • What port is my SQL2008 instance running on?

  Check out this pic of my SQL 2008 Management Configuration screen for TCP: I need to know what port I am running on. Base on this previous post, I don't believe that it is 1433, which I guess is the default. When I check my port number in SQL Config Mgr., it is blank. Does this suggest a default port? Note that I have multiple SQL Server instance on the db server. 1 2000 instance and two 2008 instances. I want to know the port of the 2008b instance. Can you help?

  I know how to grayscale an image. I am using jquery accordion and I have images on every accordion header. I want to change the image to grayscale when the accordion is active and change the image back to its original form when the accordion is not active. I am using the event accordionChange. The problem is that I am not able to save the original image. Please help. Also after grayscaling I tried to give the original src directly as document.getElementById("imgId").src = "images/pic.jpg"; This is not working.

  Please see pic, this is what I want to do. I am really struggling to bloody do it lol. The master div, is 600px wide ( blue bg ) and need splitting into two areas, left for the image and right for the text etc. Ignore the vertical divider line The left hand div, is approx 200px wide, and need to specify a min-height of 100px, as the placeholder image which is centered to that div 50% 50% will change size, as I will be adding another div like this with larger image placeholder. The right part contains the header tag, description, button and second description. I have already constructed this and works fine in chrome and ff, but not in ie. So could you guys have a think, and give me some code that complies in all browsers. It is officially doing my head in now. Screenpic of it working in ff and chrome below:

  I've been following along with the examples in the book in making a online catalog and am having a couple of discouraging difficulties in Chapter 8 task C: Catalog display. I have input the code for the stylesheets as instructed but it has created a slightly skewed result as compared to what is shown in the book. Whilst minor and aesthetic in nature its a little shock to my confidence and slightly irritating when trying to carry on through the book. There are around 30 million users in the logs and I just want the latest user log for all the logs. My end result is I want to have a log look like user1:added comment user2:log out user3:joined Now my first attempt on a small scale was to just do a dict like log['user1'] = "added comment" Will doing a dict of 30 million key/val pairs have a giant memory footprint.. Or should I use something like sqllite to store them.. then just put the contents of the sqllite table back into a file?

I am training the network using images that has some object say a cat, telling the network which images are cats and which are not.
