    Hi I have a question regarding JPA persistence in Glassfish. Situation: I have a Supplier class that has a 1:n bidirectional relation to SupplierAddress. I would like to have the following behaviour: If I remove the SupplierAddress object from the List in the Supplier object and update it via the merge(supplierobject), the SupplierAddress tupel/object should be deleted. Is there an annotation do configure it like this or do I have to delete it manually. Any help would be very appreciated. Greetings Marcel

  • iphone/ipad adding adding and removing a subview doesnt work

    Im have a slight amount of trouble adding a new view to my scene, I have the code like this: - (void) showMyDayView { NSLog(@"My Day View was touched"); MyDayViewController *temp = [[MyDayViewController alloc] initWithNibName: @"MyDayView" bundle:nil]; self.myDayViewController = temp; NSLog(@"superview: %@", [[self mainNavView] superview]); [[self mainNavView] removeFromSuperview]; NSLog(@"after removal main: %@", [self mainNavView]); NSLog(@"after removal view: %@", [self view]); NSLog(@"after removal superview: %@", [[self view] superview]); [[[self view] superview] addSubview: [self.myDayViewController view]]; [temp release]; } And when I run this code, the console says "after removal superview: (null)" so when I add the subView to the superview, nothing happens because the superview is null.     I don't know what I'm missing here. I wan't to add an element if it is in arg1 but not in arg2 and want to remove an element if it is in arg1 but not in arg2. I'm using an if condition with includes function that return true if the element is in the arg2 list, false otherwise. Then use built it predicates append and select to add or remove. I'm getting false to all my objectives searches.   • Colorbox - removing the close button from a specific window

    Hi, I'm using the colorbox plugin to display messages on my web page. One of them is a "wait for response" message, and I don't want the user closing it by himself. I know how to unbind the ESC key, and to disable the overlay close, but I still have a problem with the close button. I found I could remove it in the css like this: #cboxClose{display:none !important;} but this will effect all my colorbox messages.. Is there a way to remove the close button from a specific message? Maybe from the jsp itself? Thanks, Yael.

  • Removing input background colour for Chrome autocomplete?

    On a form I'm working on, Chrome is auto-filling the email and password fields. This is fine, however, Chrome changes the background colour to a pale yellow colour. The design I'm working on is using light text on a dark background, so this really messes up the look of the form - I have stark yellow boxes and near-invisible white text. Once the field is focused, the fields return to normal. Is it possible to stop Chrome changing the colour of these fields?

  • Removing views from UIScrollView

    I have two UIScrollViews that I move images between. The user can drag and forth between the scroll views. I am trying to animate the movement of the image from one scroll view to another. In -touchesMoved (handled in my UIViewController which has two custom UIScrollViews that intercept touch and sends to my UIViewController), I am trying to set the "center" of my UIImageView that is being moved. As it is moved, the image gets hidden behind the UIScrollView and not visible. How do I make it appear on top of the UIScrollView? I am able to handle the -touchesEnded properly by animating in the destination scroll view. I am also confused about -convertPoint:fromView: usage in the iPhone Programming Guide (See Chapter 3, Event Handling). If the touch coordinates are in window coordinates, to change my view (UIImageView inside a UIScrollView which is inside a UIView and inside a window) center don't I have to use -convertPoint:toView:, i.e., imageView.center = [self.view.window convertPoint:currentTouchPosition toView:imageView]; What am I missing?

So, basically, my images are in the size 196x196 or anything like that, but complete square or rectangle with the face in the middle and transperant background in the rest of the portion. Now, I want to remove the transperant background too and just keep the faces. Don't know if this is possible and mind you, this isn't a programming question.

I'm confused on how to proceed, should I use dot notation or do a full text search for apples?     Hi I have an li element that will have something along the lines of this for a declaration <li class="module ui-helper-fix"> And I can dynamically change the color of the module by adding on classes (That are provided dynamically through DB calls) the end result being <li class="module ui-helper-fix module-green"> or <li class="module ui-helper-fix module-default"> Well I am fine with changing the color by adding on a new module-WHATEVER class but what I would like to do is remove any class that matches module-XXXX so it starts with a clean slate and then add on the class module-crimson. So how do I remove all classes that match module-xxx first ? Keeping in mind I don't want to remove the base module class. Thanks. -Seth

But my problem is return of the function is appending the words. I want it as like follows: line = " I am feeling good , but I cant talk" Let "I,but,cant" are stopwords.     Ok, I am storing a session variable like so to load up users layouts faster if it's set instead of calling the database. But since the layout can be changed via the Administrator, I'd like to be able to globally remove all sessions where $_SESSION['layout']['action'] is set for all users. $_SESSION['layout']['action'] = array(a ton of indexes and mulit-dimensional arrays); Now, I know it's being stored into my database sessions table, there's a column for session_id, last_update, and data. So, question I have is how to remove that session array key ['action'] from all users. Using $_SESSION = array(); session_destroy(); Does not work. Basically, session_start() is being loaded on every page load, so I just want to remove all ['action'] keys from ['layout']. Is this possible to do? Thanks

    I'm building a very simple ASP.NET MVC site that doesn't require a database and doesn't have user accounts or any other special ASP.NET stuff. When I first created the site with the ASP.NET MVC 1.0 site template in Visual Studio, the web.config page was configured to automatically connect to SQL Server Express as a User Instance. Can I completely remove this dependency? If so, how do I get rid of all this database stuff?
