  • af:inputSlider doesn't render in popup for FF, Safari and Chrome

    A problem reported on OTN is that the af:inputSlider component of Oracle JDeveloper 11.1.2.2 doesn't show on all browsers except IE when the slider is added as the sole component in a popup. The problem reproduces with the ADF Faces component demo and I filed bug 14207690. The work around, posted by OTN user "Tses" is to set the inlineStyle property on the slider to table <af:inputNumberSlider ... inlineStyle="display:table;"/>

  • How the make the volume change more gradually?

    So I'm currently using Ubuntu 13.04 on a Lenovo Thinkpad R61i laptop and the problem I have is that the actual sound volume doesn't grow linearly with the change of the volume slider position: in the range from 0% to 75% it grows very slowly, but in the range from 75% to 100% does so very rapidly - so that a small change of the slider's position corresponds to an unproportionally large change in volume. What might be the case and how can I fix it? Used to work well on Ubuntu 11.*

In 11.1.1.7 we do not have out of the box support for navigational flows but this is surely on our road-map.Until then this simple approach might meet some of the requirements. In this sample we use a trigger control and Web Form rules show navigation flow for Customer, Orders and Line Items. Start by creating  a new Web Form and adding 3 tabs as Customer,Order,Line Items.Add the elements to each tab.
