  • How to find rows between other rows w/ID then add class

    Hi guys. i'm stuck with my table. need create toggle rows function. but i no idea how to find sub rows in table. Some one can help me? I have table with many rows 500 All Rows have class="row-1,row-2.....row-600 etc" And all main rows also have class="parent" between each "parent" rows i have 6 rows So i need for toggle/collapse purposes find all (sub)rows betwen parent rows. and add class with id like in prevous parent row.   • Append/Add Child Div (jQuery) for Messaging System

    So, I'm having difficulty trying to append/add a child div to the parent div, and thought someone out here may know the best way for me to go about this. I have attached my code (without PHP right now, just hard coding text and stuff). But here is what I am trying to do: When a message is posted, you hit the "Reply Button" and a new div will appear underneath containing the reply form. Right now, here are the issues I know about and can't get around: The DIV is a class, so when I use jQuery to try to target the DIV it targets everything since it's no unique. The Reply Button is also a class, so it's not unique.     I am very new to Javascript. I am running to a problem and don't know how to solve it. Could you please help? Basically, I want to create some textboxes and checkboxes in a form. Then I have to validate those fields, and add the values of the checkboxes if they are selected. One of the textboxes asking for how many semesters attended, and 3 checkboxes with value of 100, 1000, and 750. Whichever checkbox is selected, it should multiply its value to the number of semesters attended. For example if the first two checkboxes are selected then totalCost = (100+1000)* semester. I can do this on a "local" account (one not backed by Microsoft) but the setting seems to have no effect on connected accounts. I now want to disallow that a customer can change the *memory_limit* of his PHP-instance by using *ini_set*. On the other hand I don't want to disable *ini_set* completely. So I'm searching for a possibility to disable the possibility to set specific PHP configuration options (like *memory_limit*) via *ini_set*. Does somebody know how to achieve that?

    I have a maintenance script that needs to run uninterrupted, so I'd like some way to disable local user logins. Right now, the solution is to send SIGSTP to the loginwindow process, which is suboptimal for several reasons. The most important of them is that the observed behavior is a login prompt that appears to accept the user's credentials but then hangs on a blank desktop before the menu bar or dock or desktop icons appear. This has led to users "fixing" the problem by rebooting the machine. Is there a better way to disable local logins? We currently use iHook, so if there's any way to abort a login from within the login hook, that would integrate nicely with our current setup. Unfortunately, Apple doesn't seem to have documented exactly what would cause Mac OS to abort the login.

    I am using Windows 8 Enterprise on my development machine. Most of the time, I need full administrator for debugging, changing system files, etc. In Windows 7, setting UAC to "never notify" would disable any administrator prompts. In Windows 8 this is no longer the case. Even with UAC disabled I get prompted to grant programs elevated privileges. Is there a way disable this behaviour? Note: I am fully aware of the repercussions. I have antivirus, firewall, etc and am generally quite careful about what I download or install on my machine.

    Windows Vista (and I guess Win 7 though I haven't used it) sometimes automatically applies templates to folders opened in Explorer based on their content. E.g. a folder with photos automatically gets the columns "Date taken", "Tags", and "Rating". Is there a way to disable the automatic application of this feature while still allowing manual customisation? I really want to apply the "All Items" template to all folders on all drives, and have it stay that way except on a few folders that I manually customise. The reason I want to disable the automatic behaviour is that it's often just wrong. I have folders with over 100 files where Windows has automatically applied a template based on the types of one or two of those files, and the template is wrong for everything else in the same folder.

  • Is there a way to disable specific Spybot Immunization rules?

    I've been having problems using a desktop sharing application, which I've traced to the Immunization protections applied via Spybot S&D. Specifically, the problem has been narrowed down to the rules in the \SOFTWARE (Plugins) categories under the Internet Explorer groups. Once I disable these Immunization categories, everything in the application works fine. Each of these categories appears to include ~900 protections on the system. I suspect that the root cause of my problems could be narrowed down to just one, or perhaps a handful, of the settings that get applied in these categories. However, I can't find any options in Spybot S&D which would allow me to drill down to the individual protection rules and choose which to enable or disable. Is there something I'm missing, or is this not a feature available via the GUI? If it's not strictly supported in the application, is there a way to work around it by manually editing some of its files or registry settings?   • How can I disable chrome extensions (when Chrome is unresponsive)?

    I'm having a problem where Chrome won't ever fully start (cursor just spins indefinitely and can't use the any menus or buttons in Chrome). I think it is due to an extension I installed but since the browser is unresponsive, I can't do anything through Chrome itself. Is there a flag to disable all extensions for Chrome or a config file I can manually edit to disable extensions so I can figure out what exactly is causing it? I'd prefer to not have to blow it away and reinstall as I might just install the offending extension again (assuming that is what is causing the issue).

    Windows 8 now has a slide-away lock screen like so many other OSes designed for a touch interface. However on a non-touch PC/laptop this is just an extra annoying step in logging in. There is an option to disable it, but this also turns off the password requirement. Is there a way to disable the lock screen, and have Windows wake up directly to the password entry screen? Often when pressing a key to hide it there will be a noticeable delay before password entry is accepted, and no indicator, so one can easily lose the first character or so that they attempt to type, thus failing the login attempt.

    When browsing a .chm file, in search tab, when I click on each result I get a beep. I don't think there should be a beep every time I click on a search result. In any case, I'd like to just disable them. I know there is a way to disable the beeps system-wide, but I don't require that. It's not the "Start navigation" sound like used in Internet Explorer. This is truly a beep, like the one resulting when the pc is not responding, and one keeps pressing various keys on the keyboard, with each key press generating a beep. Besides, I have the windows "no sounds" scheme, meaning there shouldn't be event driven sounds.
