• Silverlight DataGrid vertical scrollbar issue

  I have a DataGrid in my silverlight application and I'm wondering how to get the same behavior for the vertical scrolling as the horizontal scrolling. When I resize the browser horizontally, The app will bunch up all the controls and the horizontal scrollbar will appear, however when I resize it vertially, the controls at the bottom of the app just move out of view. Does anyone know any tricks to handle something like this?

• JQuery jqGrid vertical spacing issue in IE

  I have been developing an app to use jQuery's jqGrid plugin, and I thought I had it all wrapped up until I tried to view the grid in IE. In IE, the grid appears with a much larger height in the .ui-jqgrid-view div, but the data itself stays at a smaller size and displays at the bottom of the container div (.ui-jqgrid-view). I need to get the grid to display "properly". I don't care if it is the larger size (that IE displays) or smaller (as in FF)... I just need to have the data fill the grid area. Thanks! • AjaxStart issue

  Hi All I am trying to build a shopping website with ajax. When a user clicks the "add to cart" image. The little loading image will show next to the Add To Cart Image. The first click works fine and the image showed as I expected. However, the second and the following clicks appends more images on the first loading image(2nd:add two loading images, 3rd: add three images..6 total images after 3 clicks). I did use ajaxStop and remove the first image...Not sure what's going on...Could use a help. Thanks a lot. • parsing issue with comma separated csv file

  I am trying to extract 4th column from csv file (comma separated, and skipping first 2 header lines) using this command, awk 'NR <2 {next}{FS =","}{print $4}' filename.csv | more However, it doesn't work because the first column cantains comma, thus 4th column is not really 4th. • IIS and Flash forceSmoothing issue

  Hi everyone, I am incorporating a Flash Flickr Polaroid file into my site, http://www.no3dfx.com/polaroid/ But I am having problems with the images being smooth. I have edited the code throughout with forceSmoothing = true and _quality = best. It all works and looks smooth if I test the file in the preview window and if I run the HTML file. But as soon as I put the file under IIS the smoothing stops. All my flash players are v10+ I have turned the IIS compression off but no luck. Can anyone please help with this? Thanks, Clyde

  I'm using Google Test Framework to set some unit tests. I have got three projects in my solution: FN (my project) FN_test (my tests) gtest (Google Test Framework) I set FN_test to have FN and gtest as references (dependencies), and then I think I'm ready to set up my tests (I've already set everyone to /MTd (not doing this was leading me to linking errors before)). Particularly, I define a class called Embark in FN I would like to test using FN_test. So far, so good.   I have a role based ASP.NET C# web application in which I am putting the menu object inside a session and I have a session timeout configured in the web.config as below: <forms defaultUrl="Home.aspx" loginUrl="Login.aspx" name=".ASPXFORMSAUTH" timeout="10"></forms> I first logged into the system as an employee and waited until the session expires and then when I click a link in the menu I am being rightly redirected to the login page with the ReturnUrl parameter. Now when I try to login to the system as an administrator I am still seeing the employee menu and not the admin menu. The method which loads the menu 1st checks to see if the menu session object is not null if so loads the menu from the session if not then it builds the menu and put it into session. So when the system timesout the menu session object is not being cleared. How can I fix this?

• jquery issue, disable on mouseenter queue

  When you mouseenter .li_group class it does a slide down effect on 1 single <li> tag, everything goes smoothly, but during the delay if you take your mouse off and on .li_group it "queues" the effect and slides the li down, delay, slides it down again etc etc...   I am using NamedParameterJdbcTemplate to insert data into a table. (Spring 2.5.3/Java 1.6) I am using jconnect driver to connect to sybase jdbc:sybase:Tds:<Server>:<Port>. For some reason the decimal values the decimal part is truncated. With the same code if I use jtds driver (jdbc:jtds:sybase://<Servername>:<Port>) its working fine. I cannot use jtds as jconn is being used by other code. In Java objects, field is defined as double. In database, field is defined as float (numeric with precision does not work). Any help is appreciated.

  HI I am working with amCharts at the moment and was wondering if somebody could give me some sort of guidance on the matter. I am using Flex to call a server side php file which then returns some xml data. This works perfectly and efficiently. I then add this data to the chart will also works quite well. However as I try to use the scroll bar on the chart, it seems to zoom out and delete all my data. I cant figure this out at all. The same thing happens when i click the show all button.

  Hi I've been trying to integrate reCaptcha with my application built on Spring framework, but I am getting this error: org.springframework.web.bind.MissingServletRequestParameterException: Required String parameter 'recaptcha_challenge_field' is not present Could someone help me understand that why am I getting this error. I've got both recaptcha_challenge_field and recaptcha_response_field parameters bound to the User domain object. Could anybody help me understand what am I missing? • Types issue in F#

  Hello! In my ongoing adventure deep diving into f# I am understanding a lot of this powerful language but there are things that I still do not understand so clearly. One of the most important issues I need to master is types. Well the book I am reading is very straight forward and introduces entities and main functionalities with a direct approach. The first thing I could get start with is types. It introduces the main types as list, option, tuples, and so on... It is clearly underlined that all these types are IMMUTABLE for many reasons regarding functional programming and data consistance in functional programing. Well, no problems until now... But now I am getting started with Concrete Types... Well... I have problems in managing with types like list, option, tuples, types created through new operator and concrete types created using type keyword (for abbreviations, concrete types...). So my question is: how can I efficently catalogue/distinguish all types of data in f#???? I can create a perfect separation among types in C#, VB.NET... FOr example in VB.NET there are value and reference types while in C# there are only references and also int, double are treated as objects (they are objects while in VB.NET a value type is not a object and there is a split in types for this reason). Well in F# I cannot create such differences among types in the language. Can you help me? I hope I was clear.
