    Does anybody know a clean PHP-based solution that can backup remote web sites using FTP? Must haves: Recursive FTP backups Possible to run through a cron job Easy to configure (easy adding of multiple sites) Local storage of backup files is sufficient Would be nice: Backed up sites are stored as zip files A nice interface to manage things Provides notification when backup has succeeded or failed Does incremental backups Does MySQL Database backups I need this to be PHP (or Perl) based because it's going to be used on shared hosting packages that do not allow usage of the standard GNU/Linux tools available.

    hi all, in /etc/openldap/slapd.conf I have this acl and works: access to dn.subtree="ou=users,dc=domain" by group/groupofuniquenames/uniquemember="cn=partner,ou=groups,dc=domain" write by users read When I want to configure it in OpenSuSE 11.1 Yast2 LDAP server configuration it generates me file /etc/openldap/slap.d/cn=config/olcDatabase={1}bdb.ldif whit acl: olcAccess: {3}to dn.subtree="ou=users,dc=domain" by group="cn=partner,ou=groups,dc=domain" manage How can i set it from "by group" to "by group/groupofuniquenames/uniquemember" like in slapd.conf? thanks, Al

    Our pom.xml currently contains both the build settings, as well as execution of selenium using selenium-maven-plugin. I would like to split it in to two pom files, one for the build and unit tests and the second one for executing selenium tests. (This way I could first build the project in Hudson, and after successful build execute Selenium tests using another project). Is it possible to configure maven to only execute the selenium-maven-plugin?

  • I wrote a new X11 keyboard layout file, how do I get my system to recognize it?

    I like to configure my keys my way, so I wrote a keyboard symbols file and I put it in /usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/cat I use it by running setxkbmap cat -variant dvorak (and it works), but it doesn't show up in the console configuration (dpkg-reconfigure console-setup) nor in the Gnome keyboard settings... nor anywhere else, so I have to run setxkbmap every time. I suppose that I have to register it somewhere, but where? Any hints? Thanks!

    We have a strange problem in our team. When a developer is using Eclipse in Debug mode, MS SQL Server 2005 blocks other developers from accessing a stored procedure. Debug session typically involves opening Hibernate session to persist an entity which could be accessing a stored procedure used for Primary key generation. Debugging is done in business logic code and rarely in JDBC stored procedure call. Is there any way to configure MS SQL server or the stored procedure so that other developers are not blocked?

    I am trying to set up ANT build. However when I invoke build command helloworld_15/${NAME} does not exist. BUILD FAILED (total time: 0 seconds) Also the configure variables does not seems to be assigned. However i have set them into /etc/envitonment I tried echo $<varaiable_name> and value get displayed.     Hello. I have a client apllication that run in very restricted area - it has no direct access to computer, where it is running. I don't want to invent another one System.Configuration system to configure my application. But there is no method in ConfigurationManager, that allows to load configuration from string or Stream. It seems to me that it's impossible to use a ConfigurationManager in this particular scenario, but may be (and I hope to) wrong?
