  • How to skip to next iteration in jQuery.each() util?

    I'm trying to iterate through an array of elements. jQuery's documentation says: jquery.Each() documentation Returning non-false is the same as a continue statement in a for loop, it will skip immediately to the next iteration. I've tried calling 'return non-false;' and 'non-false;' (sans return) neither of which skip to the next iteration. Instead, they break the loop. What am i missing?

  • Missing JAXB classes from XMLschema.xsd

    Hi, I'm working on a xml schema resolver and I'm using JAXB with XMLSchema.xsd. I experience problems with JAXB, because I don't get classes for all the top level elements. For example for <xs:element name="maxLength" id="maxLength" type="xs:numFacet"> I do not get a class MaxLength or anything like that. Only NumFacet exists.     A ToolStripComboBox is placed after a ToolStripButton and is folowed by another one, which is right-aligned. How do I best set up the ToolStripComboBox to always adjust its length to fill all the space available between the preceeding and the folowing ToolStripButtons? In past I used to handle a parent resize event, calculate the new length to set based on neighboring elements coordinates and setting the new size. But now, as I am developing a new application, I wonder if there is no better way.

    I want to make an XMLHttpRequest to a secure uri (https://site.com/ajaxservice/) from javascript running inside a nonsecure page (http://site.com/page.htm). I've tried all kinds of nutty stuff like iframes and dynamic script elements, so far no go. I know I am violating 'same origin policy' but there must be some way to make this work. I will take any kind of wacky solution short of having the SSL protocol written in javascript.

    Hi there, I have been designing with jquery and using the jquery UI widgets .. but always been designing for 1024 x 768 ... Is there any tricks or plugins (preferably that work with jquery UI) to automatically resize elements of my interface ... that way when somebody views it at a higher resolution it doesn't look so small.. For the example that would be: [0, 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 72, 84, 96]

    I am using Django for a project and is already in production. In the production environment 500.html is rendered whenever a server error occurs. How do I test the rendering of 500.html in dev environment? Or how do I render 500.html in dev, if I turn-off debug I still get the errors and not 500.html background: I include some page elements based on a page and some are missing when 500.html is called and want to debug it in dev environment.

    Hi, How would I reset my asp:DropDownList element (which has a runat="server") to index 0 every time the page is "reloaded" in firefox (F5 is pressed). If you suggest using javascript...please note that A: I am not using a form and B: I don't know how to access elements that have a runat="server" with javascript If this can be done using script on the .aspx page....please explain things you think an ASP newb would not know (ie. me, lol) thanks, Andrew :)

Do the method children() in a Enumeration check it's grandcildren too?     I've populated an array using. arrSettings = [[NSMutableArray alloc] initWithContentsOfFile:[self settingsPath]]; The file is a plist with the root as an array and then a dictionary with three three keys defined as number. I've also tried setting the keys to string. I display the values in the plist file on a view using. diaper = [[arrSettings objectAtIndex:0] objectForKey:@"Diaper Expenses"]; oil = [[arrSettings objectAtIndex:0] objectForKey:@"Oil Used"]; tree = [[arrSettings objectAtIndex:0] objectForKey:@"Wood Used"]; This code works fine, the values in the dictionary are assigned to the variables and they are displayed. The user can make changes and then press a save button. I use this code to extract the dictionary part of the array so I can update it. The assignment to editDictionary works. I've double checked the key names including case and that is correct. editDictionary = [[NSMutableDictionary alloc] init]; editDictionary = [arrSettings objectAtIndex:0]; NSNumber *myNumber = [NSNumber numberWithFloat:diaperAmount]; [editDictionary setValue:myNumber forKey:@"Diaper Expenses"]; myNumber = [NSNumber numberWithFloat:oilAmount]; [editDictionary setValue:myNumber forKey:@"Oil Used"]; myNumber = [NSNumber numberWithFloat:treeAmount]; [editDictionary setValue:myNumber forKey:@"Wood Used"]; In this example I've used a nsnumber. But I've also tried the xxxAmount field as part of SetValue instead of creating a NSNumber. Neither implementation works. Several strange things happen. Sometimes the first two setvalue statements work, but the last setvalue fails with a EXC_BAD_ACCESS failure. Other times the first setValue fails with the same error. I have no idea why the first two sometimes work. I'm at a loss of what to do next. I've tried several implentations and none of them work. Also, in the debugger how can I display the editDictionary elements. I can see editDictionary, but I don't know how to display the individual elements.

I tried using splitting by spaces and then using '=' characters but string inside quotes can also have '='. is there any different kind of split method which can also take care of quotes?
