    I am trying to match a user inputted search term against two tables: posts and galleries. The problem is the union all clause isn't working.   • why i'm permanently logged off my be

    Hello i have a problem with BE in my system. I'm permanently and automaticly logged out it after some time. 10-15 seconds, sometimes faster, sometimes slower. It's not connected with beeing idle cause I can be logged off even when I'm checking page tree or saving records I've set lock ip on 1 but it didn't help. The problem is most common under Firefox or Chome, what is strange under internet explorer i don't see it as often Other strange thing is that I see it on my live version but when I'm working on my local copy it doen not occure TYPO3 version 4.6.4

    I have an image on this page in the blue bar area. It shows up fine in FF, Safari, IE8 & Chrome, but it does not show up in IE7.     I have a dropdown with the Id of "BACKGROUND" and if nothing is selected or the value is other, it should fire my client side validation function, but it is not. Am I missing something?     The act of checking in files in a source control repository like git, mercurial or svn, is called a commit. Does anyone know the reason behind calling it a commit instead of just check in? English is not my mother tongue, so it might be some linguistic I don't quite get her, but what I'm I actually commiting to? (Hopefully I'm not commiting a crime, but you'll never know.) Is it in the meaning of "to consign for preservation"? Is it related to transactions (commit at the end of a transaction)?

    Hi guys I have aproblem with rich text box string color: I have the richtexbox that user type a message in it. I mark up each word that exist in my dictionary.     I'm writing a very basic program that aims for the text view to display the phrase "Hello" after a button is pressed on the screen. However, I can't get this program to work; every time I run it, it says that the application has stopped unexpectedly. This is the program I wrote: public class EtudeActivityActivity extends Activity{ TextView tvResponse; @Override public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); setContentView(R.layout.main); final TextView tvResponse = (TextView) findViewById (R.id.tvResponse); } public void updateTV(View v) { tvResponse.setText("Hello"); } } Also, I inserted an android:onClick = "updateTV" into my main.xml file for the button.     Whereas 99.99 * 0.01 = 0.99 Clearly this is the age old floating point rounding issue, however the rounding error in this case seems quite large to me; what I mean is I might have expected a result of 0.99990000001 or some similar 'close' result. And for the record I got the same answer in a JavaVM and in a .Net environment.

  • why does my <br> not work ?

    I am returning a PHP array back to a JQuery call for appending into a div called "name-data". I want my array to be listed vertically, so I concatenate a br tag in the PHP however, when it gets to the HTML page the br is not being rendered, it just comes out as text. I have tried the various forms of br all without luck. I am new to JQuery - What am I doing wrong ? Many Thanks ! Everyone refers to "Asynchronous" computing as running different processes on seperate threads, which gives the illusion that these processes are running at the same time. This is not the definition of the word asynchronous. a·syn·chro·nous –adjective 1. not occurring at the same time. 2. (of a computer or other electrical machine) having each operation started only after the preceding operation is completed. What am I not understanding here?

    Profiling some code that heavily uses shared_ptrs, I discovered that reset() was surprisingly expensive. For example: struct Test { int i; Test() { this->i = 0; } Test(int i) { this->i = i; } } ; ... auto t = make_shared<Test>(1); ... t.reset(somePointerToATestObject); Tracing the reset() in the last line (under VC++ 2010), I discovered that it creates a new reference-counting object. Is there a cheaper way, that reuses the existing ref-count and does not bother the heap?
