    Hi, I hope this question isn't too basic. I have a string "-123445". Is it possible to remove the '-' character from the string? I have tried the following but to no avail: $mylabel.text("-123456"); $mylabel.text().replace('-', ''); Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Zaps

  • Light Weight repalcement to GNOME for Ubuntu

    I am working on rolling a bit of my own version of linux for my real time car application. I plan to base it off of minimal ubuntu (only needsd 32 MB of memory). I am not the most skilled person with linux so not really sure how to assess components when adding them to my system. What I am looking for is a lightweight windows manager to replace gnome and it has to support the gtkmm library. Does anyone know of one?

").TrimEnd(' '); initial.SetValue(v); } So why tempspace comes here instead of literal space?? thank you for any help.

For example, given the line: var test = 'Some test text here.'; I want to get: var test = 'Sometesttexthere.'; I've tried using (\x27 matches the '): sed 's|\x27\([^x27[:space:]]*\)[[:space:]]|\x27\1|g but that just gives var test = 'Sometest text here.'; Any ideas?

At the moment I have jQuery 1.2.6 and I would like to upgrade it to jQuery 1.4 I guess some Drupal modules still depends on the old jQuery version. I've tried jquery_update module to upgrade jQuery, but it didn't work. It asked to replace the original Drupal files in the "misc" folder with the new ones, but it didn't work. Anyway, I was wondering if there is a better method instead of using another module thanks

    I want to access a MovieClip in another scene than I'm currently in. More specific I want to set a TextField to a certain value from a "preloader"-scene. This is for handling totally dynamic language phrases. Maybe this is the wrong way. I'm loading a XML with language phrases that I want to replace the textfields with.
